Just as other Yelpers have reviewed, this place is a nice hidden gem for sushi in Hacienda Heights! They have a pretty good selection of sushi as well as cooked Japanese food and the sushi is priced right!!!Plenty of parking in the lot but the inside is smaller so parties of 4 or more may have a tougher time to get seated. Most tables are 2 tops. And, they have a lunch special menu so come for lunch too. Check out my pics!

First off, this is a mama & papa shop. You're not going to get the kind of sushi that you would get from a higher end restaurant, so just keep that in mind. The staff was really friendly, and they tried their best to be attentive. We did have to wait quite a bit for some of the orders. The quality of the sushi was really decent at the price point. I wasn't a fan of the rice. You do get a decent amount of food. But personally for me, I prefer quality over quantity. The restaurant is really small it's not good for parties, maybe just for a quick bite for two. It's super budget friendly and the quality isn't half bad. I probably would give it another chance. Maybe I'll try their specials of the day .Bring your appetite.!

Very small restaurant with limited seating, was full on Saturday night. Sadly, service was really slow as we received our dishes 5-10 minutes apart. Other tables were also receiving dishes slowly. Still, quality was good!+ B/B Nigiri and Sashimi Combo Bento ($24): 4 pc nigiri, 2 pc tuna sashimi, 2 pc salmon sashimi, rice, salad, miso soup, and a nice sesame oil lotus root side! Huge slabs of fish, salmon was the best. Loved the lotus root, very unique and great umami (8/10)

Intimate and Delicious. This is a whole in the wall in a shopping center. My husband and I were in the area and wanted to try new sushi spot. Upon entering it appeared that they only had about 3 tables and a bar, but there is additional seating in the back. We sat at the bar and had such a great experience. One of my favorite things is Inari but it wasn't on the menu. I asked the chef if they have inari and he simply asked, "how many would you like?" Stoked! I ordered some of the best inari I had ever had and a lobster roll. Edamame and green tea as well. The food was delicious delicious delicious. Super fresh. I love green tea, but I hate when I'm served green tea with a bag, they serve you loose leaf green tea. . You can tell by the tiny bits of tea floating at the bottom. They also have early hours happy hour! Can't wait to go back.

Every once in a while I'll indulge myself in sushi and when they do come around I'll swing by Sushi land to pickup some eats to go. The place is tiny so you'll never see me inside at the bar but I'll go and grab something to go. Last time I went I got an unagi Don and some rolls and Chirashi. It's a mom and pops local eatery and I try to support these types of businesses whenever possible. The sushi is fresh and I'll indulge when I can. Service is fairly quick when I do phone orders and I luv that they answer the phone so to take my order. Parking is ample in this strip mall so you'll easily find a parking spot.

It's the act of kindness... above & beyond service that makes the day... whispered I lost my voice and showed waitress my hand written order. She brought me my cup of hot tea... and out of kindness... a cup of hot water with honey, even a cup of ice to bring down the temperature so I can drink. She constantly checked on me to make sure I'm okay..and she didn't miss my call in case I need something....Waitress with glasses...THANK YOU! You just made my day!

We love the happy hour menu! Small hole in the wall place but it's cozy and they make you feel welcome. Even the take out packing you can see attention to details.

Awesome experience! Came here with my wife. We were surprised by how small the place was, but thankfully we arrived before the lunch rush. I knew this place was great when I tasted the rice, it was perfect. Also the water wasn't tap water but filtered drinking water. We had the chirashi and a couple of rolls. The fish was fresh, not cold for those who understand how sashimi should be. The crunch roll was one of the best I've ever had. The rainbow roll was also great, they didn't skimp on the slices of fish on top. Server was also friendly and awesome! Made us feel really comfortable. It was a nice spot for a lunch date. For sure gonna come back!

We arrived at 11:40 a.m., food was ordered around 11:50 a.m., and food finally came out at 12:15 p.m. It sounds frustrating to wait so long for your food, especially when you're dining in. We have been waiting 25 minutes to get our food, 2 pieces per order, a total of 6 orders. The reason they delayed the food was that they needed to prepare TO GO orders first. It's understandable to expect timely service, regardless of whether the order is for takeout or dine-in.Time is indeed valuable, and you deserve to enjoy your meal without unnecessary delays.
