Sushi Atelier

This sushi spot is a "ghost kitchen" and is located in a business complex. They do not have an actual store front where you can sit and order food like typical restaurants. The concept for this spot is neat because they only do "take out". Their storefront is shared with other restaurants under "Smart Kitchens". When you enter the store front, along the walls you will see menus from many different restaurants. Underneath each menu is a "Ring Doorbell", which you use to contact the restaurant when you've arrived to pick up your food. There is a video playing inside the storefront with instructions on how to order or pick up your food. If you don't order your food ahead of time, there are kiosks you may use to order from any of the restaurants under Smart Kitchens. I would recommend ordering ahead of time if you can. I observed that the guests who ordered through the kiosk had to wait at least 30-40 minutes before their food was ready during peak dinner hours on a Saturday night. I ordered through Yelp and still waited 50 minutes before the food was ready to come out. I would be curious to come back during non-peak hours to see if the food comes out faster. For Sushi Atelier, I was appealed to order from here because of their photos. The fresh sushi rolls were tasty (California Salmon and Bluefin roll) I would order those again. The Baked Salmon roll weirdly tasted like cheese and the miso soup was a tad bit too salty. Overall, I would give this place another try because the concept of the kitchen is neat. Also, when I came to pick up my food, the worker was nice enough to come out from the kitchen to tell me she needed more time to finish preparing the food.

Stars: 3.8!!My eyes and my iPhone always eat first especially when the presentation is on point, and Sushi Atelier definitely executed! The 2 rolls ordered were above average. Los Angeles roll was my favorite, but the Futomaki Yellowtail was just alright. The Futomaki roll felt like it was missing something in texture. The scallop and crab hand rolls were good but super small! Freshness of the scallop was a average at best given its a to-go shop. For the price of everything: 2 handrolls and 2 cut rolls ($50) I was expecting a bit more in flavors and portion. We placed our order online (ChowNow) and food was ready on time. Pick up is located in a shared area with other ghost kitchens. Just ring the "Ring" doorbell and someone from the restaurant will come out with your order.

Bummer. I've been ordering from here a lot but the past 2 months I started noticing how the fish taste different... The eel was so bad, the cut was mainly the chewy fat part of the eel you can't barely eat it. Yellowtail tasted weird too. It sucks because this used to be a good sushi place but definitely something has change

Pictured is what I ordered from the website vs what I got. Rolls are inconsistent with a lot of filler and not much fish. Spicy sauce is mayo and has absolutely no flavor. Ordering was easy online but you get there, find your restaurant ring the bell and nothing happens. Guy came out and asked if I was Ethan then just disappeared. Food was 10 min late so I got to stand in the welcome area and listen to blasting instructions on how to retrieve your food. For a $60 dinner (for 1) this was a complete disappointment.To the response: if the owner doesn't see the difference in what he has pictured and what I received, I think my review kind of speaks for itself. I had no issue with the size of the roll.

I ordered the Boston roll- for sushi that is to go, it was probably the most fresh I've had!!! The fish was so tender and the sauce was extremely delicious. It's in a group building with multiple other kitchens that allows you to order food drinks and food from other places which is nice! I don't think there was a place to sit. It might be a little confusing because my gps routed me to the back of the building which is where delivery drivers go but make sure you go to the front where they have an ordering kiosk. You will then get a text when your food is ready. It took probably about 10-15 minutes for my food to come out so wait wasn't too bad at all!

The sushi taste very weird and they are not fresh. I ordered three cut roll and none of them taste good

DOOR DASH REVIEWso this order was a whopping $80 with tax and tip for 3 rolls. i really want to find something wrong with it but the only thing i can think of is that the portion was just small for the price and it was for two people. the size of the rolls are smaller than we are used to. But what they lack in size they make up for in taste. This is damn good sushi!! Quality alone makes it worthwhile. The Los Angeles roll was my favorite, perfect balance of crunch and freshness. Since this was a door dash order, can't say much about the restaurants service but they do pack the sushi carefully and in nice boxes.

I just had my 30th birthday party this weekend I ordered 11 roles to cater for my party ! I picked Los Angeles, Philadelphia & 24K gold. My guests were extremely INLOVE with these sushi rolls. The owner accommodated my party and was attentive in listening to my needs. This is the best sushi I have ever eaten & I 100% recommend!!!! For all your catering and order in needs! Exceptional taste& customer service !!!

Finally we found a place where they make very very tasty rolls. We ordered 4 types of rolls, all were amazing, especially with gold. The kids were delighted. The order was made through their app. We arranged to pick up the order at a certain time, and everything was done on time Thank you for the delicious dinner
