The name and owner have changed - it's now Flacka's Restaurant, and the food and service is all around much better. They've obviously spent money and are continuing to do so to upgrade, fix, clean, and revamp. The menu is a little simpler, but they have all the favorites, and the quality is much better than the last few years under the previous rounds of owners. We've been there several times now, and had different dishes each time - the home-made corn tortillas are consistently good, the toppings, sides, and all the entrees are definitely a big level-up from the past.

Went back again under the new ownership. This was for a Taco night instead of a breakfast, so I wanted to do another review. They have a great little happy hour menu with reasonable prices and great food. I'll post the Happy Hour menu picture. We were a group of 4 and we all got the 3-Taco sampler. We varied a bit on the fillings, but we all thought it was terrific. I had the Al Pastor, Carne Asada, and Carnitas for my 3. We also split an order of 2 of the Sopes. The kitchen was kind enough to cut each one in quarters so we could all sample them both. Super tasty, nice little crunch on the fry bread. Have to say, it was all really good. We also had the Sangria and Margaritas (lime and mango). My only complaint on the margaritas is that they don't tell you that they do not have a full liquor license, so the margarita is made with something other than tequila. Like a soju base or something. I'm not saying that it wasn't good, because it was, but it didn't have that tequila taste, and it was not apparent about it not being tequila based anywhere on the menu or elsewhere. We didn't realize it until it was 1/2 gone. Place still looks great, service was good, very friendly. Definitely will be coming back more often now that they have implemented these new changes. give them a try if you can.

I've been coming to this place for years and I've loved the staff and food. Tried so many different plates and everything is always perfect. This past Sunday was different though. Pozole plate has been top favorite from this place. Mind you, I've gotten it many times. This past Sunday I was charged regular price and was served basically broath with a few pieces of hominy. It definitely was towards end of night so not sure if that had anything to do with it but I was very unhappy when I served the plates at home and was mostly liquid. I'm so disappointed. Also the cute decorations from before are gone so not sure if things are changing around there but regardless I'm disappointed in what I got for what I paid for.

I really recommend this place, I tried menudo and it was delicious! Meat well cooked and very good amount, the broth was not spicy but hot and enjoyable! my handmade corn tortillas were amazing! Chips not greasy but crunchy ! Love the guacamole with its special touch. Coffee with a hint of cinnamon was one of my favorites. I also tried tostada de mariscos the way they prepare the shrimp and octopus is simply perfect! I will come back for the mole! I just try one chip with it and make me want more! I definitely will cone back since their service was also very nice, fast and smiley! Prices very fair! Clean and spacious place! Go you will like it!

This restaurant is beautiful and very clean from the moment you walk in. We were greeted warmly at the door and seated immediately by the friendly new owners. The glassware was beautiful , the sangria was absolutely lovely, and the coffee was amazing. We started with the fresh chips and guacamole, which were the perfect beginning to our meal.I ordered the chilaquiles with two over-easy eggs, served with flavorful rice and beans. The portions were generous, and the taste was incredible. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the variety of dishes available, which made the experience even better. My party tried the menudo, mole, and ceviche, and they couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. The food quality is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.I can't wait to return to try more dishes, especially the mole, and to enjoy another sangria.Update:Came back to try the shrimp , enchiladas, mole and chilled rellenos. Absolutely delicious.

Another one bites the dust :(We have been coming here for years as huge fans, but apparently new ownership has taken over since November 2024 and totally changed the menu, interior, and staff. This is not at all the same restaurant it was before - longstanding favorites like chicharrón and single-order tacos are gone, replaced by expensive taco plates instead. The amazing fresh chips, smooth refried beans, and deep rich red salsa have now been replaced with textureless / flavorless chips and generic tomato salsa. Any items that did survive the new ownership have now gone up in price and down in quality. The new menus are branded with "Flackas" logos (guessing it's another establishment owned by the new owners?), the "Super Antojitos" brand in Tustin is basically no more.We tried the:- Complimentary chips and salsa: 2/10 (where before it was an easy 10/10)- Carnitas Plate: 0/10, flavor wasn't bad but the portions were very small compared to before. However, this really upset my partner's stomach for hours afterward - not pleasant. - Enchiladas de Camarón: 2/10, the poblano salsa had no flavor, the cheese and tortilla was basically just mush, rice and beans felt store-bought, shrimp was fine. - Chicken Taquitos: 7/10, pretty good! Meat was seasoned and cooked well, salsa and Chipotle crema were nice. Only loses points on texture, as the taquitos were very soggy in the middle. - Total Price: We paid $78 for the above dishes and left feeling unsatisfied. In comparison, when we'd previously visited in 2024 under the old ownership, we'd have dropped maybe $60 and would have been totally stuffed with much higher quality food. Overall, I can't recommend the "new" Super Antojitos - I hope the new ownership can take a page out of the old owners' book and revert the menu/staff changes to return the food to the amazing quality it had before. Goes to show, you really gotta appreciate what you have before it's gone!

The food was fantastic! Most of us had happy hour items, chicken tostadas, tacos (asada, pastor, chorizo and chorizo with potato), shrimp taquitos and sopas. They were all wonderful and paired well with three different salsas. My son had the largest wet burrito I have ever seen served on a fajita skillet. The red / wet sauce covering the burrito was spectacular. We wet our whistle with a bucket of beers and finished with the best flan I have ever had. The service was impeccable as Rosia took great care of us, even bringing us a sweet and savory dish to try that we have never seen before, Chiles en Nogada (look it up, you have to try it). The restaurant was clean and looked newly remodeled. Hats off to chef Fernando. We will be back. Weekly!

We had the menudo, it did not taste like menudo, not enough Chile sauce, tasted like the broth from the pork. They served with hand made tortillas, which werenless than appetizing, they were raw, couldnt even roll it. Cracked and not edible. The menudo was served first, we waited fir the tortillas to get to our table too long .We had to ask for napkins, we received one each. This place is under new management, doubt it will hold up to the customers who have been going there for years, like us.We were charged additional fee for credit card use.And my stomach paid the price. Upset stomach all day. Will not be returning after over 20 years.
