Steamed or fried, the dumplings are delicious. Add to that dish a plate of garlic flash-fried green beans and you have the start of a wonderful meal. As their reputation has grown, so have the lines to get in. Prime dining times equals prime wait times, but it's worth the wait.

Happy Chinese New Year 2025, year of the Wood Snake ! This is my horoscopes sign, for those celebrating, And appreciating so many various cultures! I just love dumplings and in my humble opinion, for the price, atmosphere, authenticity, one can find it right here in Lake Forest. For me, this is most likely the top dumpling spot! (not to mention so many vegetable and rice dishes. Service is always fast and efficient, and I love seeing how the dumplings are made!

Food:4/5- order the hot and spicy soup for starters and combination chow mein, the noodles were nice and chewy with a bouncy texture, only downside is the plate is very small and there's not much meat. The Xiao long Bao was good, nice bite size and juicy. Our favorite was the spicy wontons, has a nice snappy texture to the shrimp and lovely sweet and spicy flavor. Potsticker were not bad as well. I would recommend coming here for their spicy wontons and Xiao long Bao, but expect smaller portions for the price. They also have frozen xlb and dumpling you can purchase for home. Not a bad deal! Service: 4/5-You can order on your phone and pay through their app system. Food came out pretty quick. Ambiance: 4/5 nicely decorated, it is a smaller restaurant, so not sure if it can accommodate larger parties.

Great spot for a quick lunch with traditional Taiwanese dishes, such as beef noodle soup, XLB, and of course dumplings. You seat yourself and you can order from the table using the attached QR code. I love that you can see the staff rolling the dumpling dough and making dumplings. The staff will bring your dishes to you when they're ready, and my XLB came in the bamboo steamer. Loved the meat to wrapper ratio, and a good amount of soup within the XLB as well. The wrapper was thin, just the way I like, compared to those doughy dumplings.Only thing is, I didn't see a restroom, making it inconvenient if you need to go.

Eat dumplings on SoCal IMHO!! Consistently delicious, we've been coming here sporadically since the beginning of this year and Sunny's has hit the spot every time! Sunny's is the only place I e ever gotten "soup" inside their water boiled and pan fried dumplings as well as their XLB, and I can't get enough. The best part is that they sell their hand wrapped dumplings frozen so you can bring them home and make your own!! PRO TIP: It gets really busy so I use the Toast App to order in advance and pick up when I don't want to deal with the crowds.

Delicious, efficient, and authentic! The menu is all on your phone and that's also how you order + pay, which was super easy and convenient. The food was delicious!! Came out quickly and was very fresh. You can see the workers making the food in the back :) highly recommend the spicy shrimp/pork wonton. Very mom & pop shop, family friendly. There can be a wait (~30 min) so I'd recommend getting there early or just being prepared for that.

I've been here twice and it's AMAZING! Everything is super high quality and fresh! I tried the XLB, pan fried pork and shrimp dumplings, cucumbers, fired green beans, dan dan noodles, and beef noodle soup and everything is so delicious, well balanced, seasoned well (not too salty), and cooked to perfection! I'll definitely come back! The place is nice and clean and they are efficient with their ordering system. You scan a QR CODE on the table and your order is served super quickly! I appreciate the fast and efficient service. You'll see the ladies making fresh dumplings in front of the restaurant as well. You can also buy frozen dumplings to go! Check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

This place was a yelp find. The Dan Dan noodles were amazing. The steamed pork and shrimp were fantastic. Don't let this location scare you , it is in a strip center. The service and food were excellent.

I've gotten takeout from here twice and they never miss! I went in on a Tuesday night around 6:30 which was prime dinner time and it was full! People were waiting for seating for dine in. I waited about 30 minutes for the food but it was busy from what I could see. I got:Scallion pancake- the crispiest and flakiest scallion pancake I've ever had Garlic green beans- a staple Chinese veggie dish and they were super flavorfulSpicy shrimp and pork wonton- the wontons were good but the sauce could have used a little somethingPork pan fried dumplings- so juicy and they still had a crispy bottom after my drive home!Dan Dan noodles- very tasty and the noodles had a good chewI'd probably call in my order ahead of time next time if I'm gonna go during a peak dinner time.
