Got the Taro and Injeolmi bingsoo with the Blask Sesame toas. I have had the Injeolmi bingsoo before and always give it a 10/10. Not too sweet and you can add condensed milk to make it sweeter. First time trying the Taro and Black Sesame toast and the taro was very good. I would get it again. The toast was nothing special but there was a lot of powder which made it more dry. I have tried the Injeolmi toast and that comes out warm and soft but the black sesame was a bit too dry for me. Service is always fast when I go. I don't ever have to wait more than 15mins. Inside is a hit or miss depending when you come. It gets crowded very easily so if you come with a big group it might be hard to find a spot to sit. There's a nice outside area with a few tables but not for big parties. More for groups of 4 or less.

I come to Sul & Beans like a couple of times a year whenever me and some friends crave sweets after getting lunch or dinner. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the green grape bingsoo! I think it's new and I'm not sure if it's seasonal but I'm hoping it will stay for a while or become permanent! it was so refreshing after a heavy meal. I also love the Earl grey or strawberry flavor but I have been loving green grape everything and this dessert just hit the spot! I'll be back soon again for the green grape hopefully c:

It was really crowded when we came, but luckily we were still able to find seats. We ordered the strawberry bingsoo which was enough to feed 3 people. The strawberries were cold and fresh, and the mochi cubes were super chewy. The bingsoo was the perfect amount of sweetness.

Waited 20 minutes for two shaved bingsoo dishes: watermelon and taro. Good service and very refreshing for a hot day. Lots of fruits and tasty treats mixed in.

ORDERgreen grape bingsoo (3/5)it is too sweet and has a slight medicine taste. it comes with way too much aloe vera (?) in the middle. the ratio is super off, the aloe vera took up most of the bingsoo. the other flavors here are a lot better. my favorites are the mango and earl grey. SERVICE it is always super busy here, so there may be a little wait. AMBIANCE most of the time, the seats are taken but there is indoor and outdoor seating. however, the tables are always dirty.

I've never waited this long for dessert in my life. Granted, it was a Saturday night, but 40 mins for a to go order of shaved ice with some toppings is kind of wild to me.It wasn't bad bingsoo, but it wasn't worth my time. We decided on a to-go order as there wasn't a single free seat. I don't know if I'd come back knowing how long I had to wait. Perhaps this shows of how good Sul & Beans is, but tbh I could just go for boba or ice cream for a lesser wait. It's also super loud inside. It just felt chaotic. Not my vibe.

AMBIANCE:This place seats a lot and is ALWAYS packed at night since it's one of few places open late. Expect a full house! They have indoor and outdoor seating. FOOD:$14 STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE BINGSOO: it's much smaller than I expected, for whatever reason the photos make it look HUGE! But it's still a great portion!!! Softest ice that'll ever touch your tongue. Lined with Cheesecake bites, strawberries, and condensed milk. Not too sweet! TAIYAKI: freshly made, perfectly crispy outside & gooey inside. CUSTARD flavor is the OG and always my favorite. I also got the NUTELLA. Must love chocolate & hazelnut obviously.

Went here after kbbq because we wanted something sweet. This was my first time coming here! Seating is limited and close together. Parking is also limited outside, as it's shared with other eateries. Since it was our first time, we asked some questions and advice to the workers. I first asked the worker if the mangos were sweet/ soft or more sour (because Asian mangos are usually sweet and the tougher texture mangos are sour). She just laughed and said "it's frozen". Well.. that's disappointing lol. We still ended up ordering the mango version because it's my brother's favorite fruit. It tasted very good. The toast was rather small and more burnt on the edges than what I would have liked. I couldn't taste the filling of the toast that much because the burnt of the edges was too strong. It wasn't busy on a Monday evening, but it still took a while for the order to be made. Overall, not too impressed with this first experience. Probably shouldn't tell your customers the fruit is frozen.

I was introduced to Sul & Beans by my niece and nephews, and it quickly became a favorite spot! This place specializes in Korean shaved ice (bingsu), and the desserts are absolutely delicious. The menu offers a variety of flavors, from classic red bean to modern options like mango and green tea. Everything is beautifully presented and perfect for sharing. The shaved ice is so soft and fluffy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great spot to hang out with family or friends while enjoying a sweet treat. If you're in Buena Park and craving bingsu, Sul & Beans is a must-visit if you are in the area!!My Personal Rating : 4.12Desserts 4.3/5Staff 4.1/5Price 3.9/5Ambiance 4/5Cleanliness 4.3/5

I recently visited Sul & Beans and decided to try the strawberry cheese bingsoo, and it exceeded my expectations. The presentation was lovely, with vibrant strawberries beautifully arranged on top of the fluffy shaved ice. The texture was perfect--light and airy, which made it feel incredibly refreshing. The combination of the fresh strawberries with the creamy cheese added a unique twist that I really enjoyed. It wasn't overly sweet, allowing the natural flavors of the fruit to shine through. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a nice balance of casual and modern decor. It felt like the perfect spot to relax and unwind, whether you're there solo or with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcomed and had everything I needed throughout my visit. What stood out to me was the overall vibe of the place. It's not just about the food; it's also a great spot to enjoy some downtime. I saw a few other items on the menu that I'm curious to try, so I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a delicious dessert experience in a comfortable setting, I highly recommend Sul & Beans.
