I came in to try for the first time, I have been to the Dana location that I like so I was excited check it out. The host was very welcoming and had a great personality. After talking over the menu he recommended the black and blue. I was pleasantly appeased! it was flavorful and had the perfect blend of sweet and sultry with a nice and crispy crust. I came on a cold day so only inside seating was practical but I cant wait for warmer weather to enjoy the patio.

Great place for lunch with a few friends! Ordered the Garden pizza and it was amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They also have a wide variety of pizza options which made it so hard to pick! Will definitely be returning soon!

The staff was super friendly. The food was ok. I've had better knots at other places. You have to order at the register.

Good pizza but too many issues to recommend; not good for kidsFood: Great pizza; crust has a perfect blend of rosemary/thyme; veggie pizza was one of the best I've ever had; caesar salad had way too many croutons that were not homemade; kitchen must be small since it took about 25 minutes for one cheese and one veggie; my kids hated the cheese pizza due to the rosemary/thymeDrinks: Proper beer selection but my three choices were all "sold out"; no spirits like their main locationService: Nice and responsive staffInterior: Lots of seating for a relatively small space; padded chairs are comfy; you have to ask for napkins every time you want more which is annoying for eating pizza (especially with kids)Exterior (Location): Easier to access than on Del Mar; outdoor patio is covered with heat lamps; standard parking lot view with traffic noise from El Camino RealParking: Small parking lot but we had no issues finding a spot on a Sunday; street parking is tough as always in this area

So glad they opened this place. We stumbled upon this place after lamenting that Cassano's closed and we were so glad we did. We made our own pizza with red sauce and a pesto drizzle. The pizza crust was buttery and crispy and unique. I am ordering from them again as I write.

We love the DP location/menu and we were excited to try the new SC location with the pizza concept. I love pizza and have to say there is too much crust and needs more sauce and flavor is so so. Maybe offer a thin crust option. I feel the pizza is not good enough to be the main option on the menu. The DP menu has a great variety and food is amazing, can't say the same for the pizza in SC.

Worst tasting pizza I've ever had, like no kidding! Crust is bland and far too dense, pizza way way too garlicky, like so garlicky we couldn't eat it. We ordered a Margarita pizza. Cheese was an inch thick, way too garlicky and rich. I mean, how can you mess up a Margarita pizza? I want this place to be successful. Please act on this feedback and quickly remedy your pizza recipes.......Also would recommend dimming the lighting. Lighting too bright. Dim the lights to add atmosphere......

It's a mixed bag review for this new San Clemente location. We LOVE the Dana Point location, go there often, and since we live in San Clemente we were super excited to learn they opened a locaiton in the old Cassano's Pizza spot. Different menu but we went with high hopes. First, the temperature outside was in the 50's and they had both doors wide open. Looking around every customer had their jackets on. It was really a cold atmosphere when we were looking for a warm, inviting, local pizza spot. So I would say "Hey, pay attention to your customers and the unspoken signals they are giving you." We finally asked if they would close the doors and they did comply but closed only one. Service is a fast, casual concept. Order at the register, grab a table, your food beverage are delivered. Prompt food from the kitchen and they also bussed our table with a friendly smile. Note to families - no booster seats or high chairs at this time. Now the pizza - my husband had actually ordered a take out pizza from here the week before and was disappointed with it. He said it had almost no sauce and tasted very dry and hardly any ingredients. He didn't want to try again but we persuaded him. This time he liked it much better. We ordered a Margarite, Cowboy, and a mushroom. Everyone's favorite was the Cowboy one. We all loved the flavor of the bbq with brisket and peppers but honestly, there were only specks of brisket. There was maybe one small chunk of brisket on every other slice of pizza. I know because I was trying to find a piece for my grandson and it was quite a search. Come on - if you're gonna advertise brisket, put some dang brisket on there! Charge some extra bucks or something. But the flavor was delicious. The style of pizza they make has a lot of raised edge crust with no toppings and while it was good - it's just a lot of plain "bread" and everyone left large slabs of crust on their plates. I ordered a caesar salad and it was made without romaine. Instead, I got soft red and green leaf type mixture???? It was definitely not a caesar salad. Happy to see Californios Mexican lager was on the menu along with a good selection of others. This location just opened up so I'm hoping some of these issues are just kinks they will work out. I try to support local San Clemente businesses and anticipate sitting on their patio this spring and diving into a generous ingredient laden pizza and nice cold brew!

I love the Station Craft brewery in Dana Point and was excited to try the pizzeria tap room in San Clemente. I tried a few different kinds of pizza and all of them were delicious and flavorful not to mention they have some of the best tasting beer. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Wish they would open a Station Craft in San Diego!!
