Spin Sushi & Teriyaki

Food is always fresh tasting and packed with flavor. My favorite is either the La Habra roll or La Habra bowl. The salmon salad is crave worthy especially for a quick bite. Service is always fast and friendly whether you dine in or order take out. Limited seating inside, perfect for a quick lunch or quick family dinner. My family's been coming here for years, give it a try!

Did they sell the place? It was my go to for really good food and friendly staff. Today was completely different. Barely any chicken (bland) was given for the Ramen. The Ramen broth had no flavor. The chicken was prossed and rubbery and very tasteless. It used to be the best. Also the cashier was so rude. We order we ordered 2 ranebs and a La Habra Roll plus 2 fish tacos ($40) she gave us 1 teriyaki 1 soy 1 seracha. We asked for a couple more and she gave us attitude. I wont be going back. I'm so disappointed.

This is our new hidden gem. The food is so good. So far we have loved everything we've tired. Tbh we haven't came here because I of the location and it looks a little run down but don't let that fool you. The food is so fresh. The service is so good. Every single staff goes above and beyond. My husband and I came here with our kids for dinner and I had our little one in my arms who was upset and my daughter was clinging onto my husband and when they called our number the staff realized we had our hands full and brought us our plates to our table and even offered to fill up our drink up. You do not get service like this often and we felt pampered.

Been wanting to try this spot since we moved down the street a few months ago and decided to finally go, Monday 12/30/24. It was about 3pm, after we walked in, it started getting a little busy. But we were not disappointed one bit. They had many tables to sit down at. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, the young girl at the register who took our order was very nice and repeated our order back to us to make sure she had everything correct. The food took about 10-15 minutes to be ready and everything was delicious! We will come back again!

Service was good. They have a ton of options for sushi rolls, soups, plates and bowls, appetizers, etc. there's several tables and chairs. It's located in a large parking lot at the end of stater bros. The soup was a little too hot to enjoy, took a very long time to cool down but other than that everything was yummy.

My go-to's are the Crunch Bowl, Special California Roll and Tofu Veggie Bowl. All are so good and their teriyaki sauce is really good. They have a website where you can order from which makes it convenient to pick up.

I passed by Spin and its former name, California Sushi & Teriyaki, hundreds of times until just a few days ago. I wanted to get a protein-heavy meal and decided it's time to give them a shot.I was hoping that as a single branch, local restaurant that it'd do a better job than the chain Hawaiian / teriyaki places. While the prices here are a few bucks cheaper, it does show in the food quality.【QUICK TIPS】# Spin is cheaper than other chain teriyaki places because they pre-cook their food in large batches so don't expect hot food. The pricing is what keeps them at a 3 star. Food's a 2.# I was hoping this would be a great, local teriyaki place that's better than the typical Hawaiian and Japanese chains. It wasn't so won't be returning.# They don't have many tables. It's mostly empty space inside. They function more as a takeout spot. So if they're doing mainly takeout and constantly get phone orders, why not continuously grill meat? It'd be way better than batching then letting the food cool down.# Their teriyaki sauce is a gross, congealed blob. You can get one condiment cup to try it out and get grossed out me with in spirit.【end QUICK TIPS】I got the chicken & beef teriyaki for $12.98 after tax and took it home with me. As soon as I began eating, it became apparent why they were cheaper. The food wasn't hot. At most, lukewarm as if they cooked the food in large batches and left them to cool down in their food trays. To eat barely warm chicken and beef kinda sucked, but to realize they weren't as firm as they should be and soaked in weak, flavorless marinade made me sad. I'd rather pay the $15+ for hot, proper teriyaki. I couldn't tell if the white rice was warm or not so I can say barely lukewarm. The small salad and soy dressing were fine. The tiny scoop of mac salad dampened the mood further. The teriyaki sauce was a cold, congealed gelatin of ginger flavoring. Sriracha came in factory packets so that was fine.At least the food wasn't ice cold so I could look in the mirror the next morning and practice gratitude that I didn't perish from complete disappointment?

I loved the affordability the wide range on the menu and the staff was so friendly! I will be back!

Food: 5*Service: 5*Ambience: 2*Stopped by here to try the sushi bento box with tempura deal. You get 2 pieces each of salmon and tuna sushi. Both were fresh, ample, and delicious. A small California roll which was also great and tasted fresh. The tempura was hot and crispy. For the price you pay, this is a great deal. While I was there, all the tables were occupied and people kept coming in to order. I will go here again.
