The best Sichuan restaurant. Family and friends always gather here. It is a restaurant that even foreigners who are not familiar with Chinese food appreciate because of its unique flavor. The unique spiciness is cooked just right, so anyone can enjoy it regardless of preference. It wasn't as salty and spicy as mainland China, but we all ate all the food we ordered without leaving a single bite. Beef/chicken/pork/lamb dishes and properly cooked vegetable dishes go well together. The staff were very kind and explained the food well, so I had a very satisfying time. I always want to come back to this restaurant.

The staff at this location is incredibly rude, I called in to place an order here a few days ago and the staff member who took my call was incredibly rude and impatient with me.Upon arriving at the restaurant, I realized I had a lot of time between meetings so I asked if I could sit down and eat my take out meal in the restaurant, the staff member, I think her name was Wen, reluctantly allowed me to do so but then started to slam plates and pans behind the counter as if she were angry with me.Keep in mind I didn't ask for anything aside from being allowed to sit down in their restaurant and eat my take out order which I paid for in full and tipped for accordingly.Food is decent but the service is rude and condescending, I'd recommend folks stay away.

One of the best meals I've had in a really long time!! This restaurant is located in the same plaza as 99 ranch and the stores nearby are going through construction. The worker notified us they will be moving locations close by to a bigger spot!Woke up craving mung bean jelly noodle and landed on this spot. We ordered the sauteed shredded cabbage, special fish spicy pot (added lotus root, tofu skin, and a choy), two sides of rice, and cold mung bean jelly noodle. The mung bean jelly noodle was DELICIOUS, fish in the spicy pot was so tender, and wow that cabbage was best and most flavorful I've tasted.. my family loved this place too, including my dad who said he hated Szechuan food!! The dishes weren't overly spicy or numbing, they were perfect. The portions were huge as well.I can't wait to be back for the sauteed cabbage and mung bean jelly noodle, and to try other spicy pots! You neeeeed to try that cabbage, it was mindblowingly good.

I've had lunch at Spicy Home numerous times for business lunches, but this is the first time I had dinner here. The wait was roughly an hour and ten minutes, and we finally got a table. We did drive an hour to get dinner here as my lovely friend really wanted the house original bullfrog dry pot. Her friend ordered the tofu skin and tripe dish, and they ordered me the cold noodle and peppered pork and egg dish. I was ok with the items they ordered, as the cold noodle was quite tasty for noodles, and the pork, chili, and eggs had a nice flavor to it as well. The tripe and tofu were ok, but didn't really stand out. I only tried the tofu in the bull frog dish, but my friend said it wasn't as tasty this time around. Maybe a different cook? In any case, I didn't really have any complaints and we had a nice dinner after all.

Good service and good food. Many other Spicy restaurants I've tried are not spicy enough. And if they are, the flavor isn't there. They have a good balance of both. I would recommend you try them on a day or lunch time in which they are less crowded. Be aware that the plaza is under construction, so come early.

What a great find for my spicy food cravings. All the dishes I got were quite spicy yet very flavorful, not just straight out spicy for the sake of it. The portions were pretty big. Service was good. The lady there was chatty helped us pack all our leftover food. Too bad we do not speak Chinese. We ordered pork belly and tofu dried pot by mistake, but it was unexpectedly my favorite dish of the night. The tofu sheets were as thin as pork belly and absorbed all the flavor. I highly recommend if you are a fan of tofu. Toothpickless lamb was definitely more meat than expected, and I enjoyed how convenient it is to eat them without the toothpick. The meat could be more juicy, but I had no complaints because it was packed with flavor. Sliced belly in golden soup was spicy and sour which hit the spot for me. This place is added to my rotation list . Bonus: I appreciate how they blast the AC at this restaurant to keep it nice and cold because I definitely sweat a lot eating spicy food.

We haven't been inside this restaurant since pandemic. Two adults and two kids decided to grab lunch here at Spicy home. The ambiance of restaurant is traditional Chinese, with personality. Service is quick as they use iPad to enter your orders. They have waters for you pretty quickly. Please note most famous dishes here are at least medium spiciness. We ordered the couple's spliced beef; medium plus spiciness as ingredients are in chili oil and other spices to bring out the flavors on thinly sliced beef.Lemon peppercorn fish fillet is sour, spicy with kick from peppercorn. Very yummy, we took the leftover and soup home to add ingredients.Pork fried noodles is done correctly with wok power, and one of kids favorite. Not a spicy dish. We added two bowls of steam white rice too!All in all, there are dishes for everyone, but spicy food lovers will enjoy more as choices are more abundant.Recommended and will be back soon.

It's not the top Szechuan restaurant in town by any means, but it's still good and authentic. The service was quick; we sat down, ordered, and started eating within 15 mins. Our favorite was the 辣椒蛋炒肉, it's a unique combo that I've not had anywhere else and it was tasty. The 炒豬三樣 on the other hand was mid, though wasn't bad either. All good with rice.A little too greasy though even though we asked for less salt less oil.

If you're in the mood for some comforting and spicy food that hits the spot without breaking the bank, Spicy Home is the place to go. The service is quick and efficient, even when the restaurant is packed. The staff handles the crowd well, and we were impressed with how fast the food arrived at our table. It's perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family, and the dishes generally hit the spot. Here were what we ordered this time.Stir-Fried Shredded Cabbage - 4/5 stars: My all-time favorite dish! This is a must-have every time I visit. I've tried similar dishes in China (Guangdong area), but none of them match the flavor of this one. We requested extra spicy, and they nailed it. While it's not quite at the level of the one from Hunan Chili King in SGV, it's still delicious.House Special Boiled Fish - 2/5 stars: Unfortunately, this dish didn't live up to expectations, especially considering it's their 10-year bestseller. While the fish itself was flavorful, the overall dish was quite bland, not spicy or numbing enough. We added bamboo shoots, black mushrooms, and lotus root to the dish for free, but it could have used a lot more flavor.Mapo Tofu - 5/5 stars: This dish never disappoints. We didn't order it extra spicy, but it was still very numbing and packed with flavor. I enjoyed every single bite of this dish, and it's definitely one I'll keep coming back for.I've been coming to this restaurant for about 10 years, and it's my go-to whenever I crave spicy Chinese dishes near the I.E. area. It's a reliable spot that always satisfies.

We came there because someone wanted spicy food on a cold rainy day. It turned out to be a good choice. It was my first time here. I was delighted by its interior decorations of humorous calligraphy on the wall. We ordered more than we should but my daughter was leaving for Texas that evening so we splurged. I have my doubts when the house fried rice showed up but it won me over after the first bite. I also liked the twice cooked pork, the eggplant casserole, and osmanthus rice wine soup. Its service was prompt and proper. The only question I have is why I waited so long to visit this establishment. I'll be back soon.
