NOTE: The free Thai Iced Tea with Yelp check in offer has been discontinued as of our 2/11/25 visit.Silver Spoons is another one of our favorite workday lunch spots. They have a fantastic menu, great service, and delicious food. The portions are good sized, and the prices are very reasonable. Some of our favorites are the Deep Fried Gyoza ($11.95), the Satay Chicken (5 pieces for $13.95), which is served with a peanut dipping sauce, the Papaya Salad ($13.95), both the Ruby (red) Curry and Golden (yellow) Curry ($15.95), the Bangkok Pepper Steak ($17.95), the BBQ Beef Short Rib ($19.95). The Silver Spoons BBQ Specials are served all day and come with fried rice with 2 shrimp on top, a side salad, and either a Thai Iced Tea or a soda. Everything was quite delicious. The décor is bright and clean, and the service staff are friendly and efficient. We'll definitely continue to stop in for lunch, as this is close to my office. I highly recommend you give them a try.

It's so hard to find good Thai food locally. I've tried many places around here, and they weren't quite there yet, but finally, I've found the one. However, it was a little heartbreaking to know that Silver Spoon has replaced what used to be Continental Burger. Every local like me once had a memory at Continental Burger, nothing but heartwarming food at an affordable priceSilver Spoon might not be Continental Burger, but they definitely continue the legacy of delicious food with a welcoming atmosphere. I really like the renovation of the interior. It's open, clean, and well-decorated. Now, onto the food--here's what I ordered!Thai Boat Noodles - I was skeptical when I saw it. The broth looked a little light for me for a Thai boat. Visually, it looked like an ordinary Thai boat. I proceeded to taste the soup first. Boy... don't judge a book by its cover. The soup was aromatic and rich. It had such a well-balanced flavor. It took me on a journey. It was savory, slightly sweet, a little bit spicy, with a hint of sour. The noodles were perfectly cooked. The meat was tender. The vegetables tied it all together with their freshness. This is what I call a "perfect Thai boat."Nam Tok - A simple dish, but not many places can perfect it. The meat was tender and cut into perfect bite-sized pieces. It was so flavorful. It was tangy and spicy with a hint of sweetness. The vegetables complemented the flavor so well, providing a nice cool break for such a bold taste. Many people don't know that the real star of Nam Tok is the toasted rice powder. The toasted rice powder here was so aromatic. It was like the cherry on top, elevating everything with its flavor and texture. The dish was made with rich flavor, designed to pair perfectly with sticky rice. Do. Not. Forget. The sticky rice. The service was outstanding. The food came out fairly quickly, and the staff were attentive and friendly. There was plenty of parking in the lots and on the street. I love that it's right off the freeway. It's very convenient to stop by, grab a meal, and hop back on the freeway. Highly recommended! I'll be back to try some more dishes!

I didn't dine in the restaurant. I was craving Pad Thai at 9 PM. I ordered Pad Thai with beef on Doordash. The beef was an extra dollar. The Pad Thai was $15.75 plus the service fee/tax. The total for beef Pad Thai on Doordash was $19.97. The Pad Thai arrived quickly, it was still very hot. The portion of Pad Thai was decent. There was no selection to adjust the spiciness. The beef was just seared, no flavor to it. The beef was super tough, either overcooked or bad cut of beef. There was a decent amount of beef. The Pad Thai seasoning wasn't on point, really light tasting. There wasn't enough tang or vibrancy to the dish. I wish there were more green onions and bean sprouts. The dish was plain, needed more zest, flavor and spiciness. I was disappointed by the lackluster taste of classic Pad Thai.

This is their ruby red dinner portion for $14.95 + tax, what a rip-off! They used to give you a whole tray. Oh, and did I mention no rice is included? Definitely not worth it anymore. Save your money and head across the street to Basil & Co instead!

Quick! It's north of 8pm on the day after Christmas, you've had it up to to your tonsils with 48 hrs of annual holiday staples like Brisket, Pozole and Molé and your jonesing for Thai food, what's your fave Yelp correspondent supposed to do?! He calls up revered Diamond Bar Thai palace, Basil & Company...and is crestfallen to discover that Basil is shuttered for the holiday. Undeterred, he pivots quicker than an NBA all star switching to his off hand and dials up Silver Spoons Thai BBQ. SSTB is situated a mere 500ft due west of Basil & Company, seated in the same space that Brown Rice (another former Thai restaurant) usta occupy. I ordered my go-to entree at any Thai establishment, and this is the eighth one I've reviewed for Yelp, Chicken Pad Thai with extra peanuts. Imagine my surprise when, at 8:30pm on TH DEC 26th, I find the SSTB lot filled to the brim. I stroll in to find nearly every table occupied and the same pleasant, cozy ambiance that its predecessor, Brown Rice, used to exemplify. I quickly ferried my entree home and tore into it, grinning like a Cheshire cat while shoving huge forkfuls of glossy, tamarind-kissed, gelatinous goodness into my mouth. Is this the cravable, unctuous gold of Khun Dom or Hoy-Ka Thai (both stalwarts of the Thai town scene in Hollywood)? Not quite. But will it satiate your need for Thai...to bang(kok) your hunger into submission? Damn straight. North Diamond Bar residents are lucky to have two worthy Thai restaurants within easy walking distance of the Smart & Final shopping center.

We've been fans of Silver Spoon Thai BBQ House since day one, about a year ago when they first opened. For us, this is easily one of the best Thai spots in the area. Every dish has its own unique highlights, and nothing feels like it's just the same flavors recycled. The dish we order most often is the Chow Mein with chicken--mainly because our 3-year-old picky eater actually eats it! But it's not just a "safe" dish; it's one of the best versions of chow mein we've had. The flavors are layered, with a little kick that makes it stand out.My personal favorite is the Rad Na. The wide, flat rice noodles are perfectly chewy and soft, paired with tender meat that's never dry. The soybean gravy ties everything together with rich, savory flavors, and the use of Chinese broccoli instead of regular broccoli is a thoughtful, authentic touch that I really appreciate.Their curries are outstanding, from the Golden Curry, Massaman to Panang Curry. Each one feels distinct and thoughtfully prepared. The meat--whether chicken or beef--is always tender, which is a rare find for curries. Another favorite of ours is the Pineapple Fried Rice, loaded with shrimp, chicken, pineapple, egg, and cashews. Every bite bursts with flavor, and it's hard to stop eating once you start. And don't leave without trying the Mango Sticky Rice! It's the perfect way to finish a meal. The warm, sweet sticky rice pairs perfectly with the soft, fresh mango slices, creating a flawless balance of flavors and textures. We do miss the Thai iced tea they used to offer as a Yelp check-in perk--it was perfectly sweet without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is open and spacious, with a bright and minimalist setup. The service has always been top-notch; the staff is attentive, quick to refill water, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel at home every time.Overall, Silver Spoon Thai BBQ House is a gem. Whether you're craving BBQ, curries, noodles or dessert, this place never disappoints. Highly recommended!

They share a small parking lot with the Chinese Dim Sum banquet place so it can get busy at peak hours.Don't let that stop you from visiting one of the top local Thai Restaurants in area. One of the best in the class. The meat is very savory and moist unlike many other Thai restaurants preparation of meat. The curries are flavorful and the spice adjustment is accurate. The rad na here is very good please don't sleep on that one if you are into flat noodles and gravy.Overall come check out a great local Thai restaurant and have a great time.

Came by for some dinner with the family on a Wednesday night around 8pm. Since it was a weekday it wasn't busy so that was nice. We ordered the papaya salad, emerald curry, chicken pad Thai, soup, and mango sticky rice to share. It was a good portion and we finished everything. Also we got everything mild as we can't do super spicy. The soup was super tasty and so was the emerald curry!

Service: Amazing! Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. She explained to me what was vegetarian and what had fish sauce or didn't. They also alerted the cook to not use fish sauce in the golden curry I got. I also appreciated that they didn't check on us too frequently because I get a little peeved since I just want to enjoy the meal. Vibe: Clean and casual. There's a good number of seats/tables but depending on the day, the parking might be a bit hard. It shares a lot with Diamond Palace Restaurant next door.Food:Delicious!! Flavorful and good portions.Pad See You - Sweet and smoky and savory. The fried tofu had a lovely crisp to it that added a nice texture difference along side the veggie. I always love a nice pad see you at any Thai place.Golden Curry - Made vegetarian with no fish sauce and fried tofu. It's creamy, rich, and had a good curry spice depth to it. It's not super spicy either since I got a medium!King Crab Noodle - It has two crab legs on top with some egg and crab meat throughout the noodles as well. They use a similar noodle as a typical pad thai! My mom said she liked it.Papaya Salad - My mom's favorite since we first came here. It is deep and savory, nicely balanced, and the shrimps are lovely. It's just a great but refreshing dish! I got her the mild and she says it's spicy just enough but take that with a grain of salt since her spice tolerance is low.Overall, we love this place! It's another great Thai restaurant to add to our list. The Thai restaurant across the street is yummy too!
