We had a great experience here, and the customer service was outstanding. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. Plus, they all offer a Happy Hour menu, which makes it even better!::Food::Here are some dishes we liked:- Goma Spinach - Tasty, but next time I'll ask for less black sesame sauce.- Marinated Kobe - Delicious and full of flavor.- Cherry Tomato - My favorite!- Chicken Meatball - Well-seasoned and juicy.- A5 Wagyu - Melt-in-your-mouth good.I'm also in love with their Yuzu Pepper. I like mixing it with ponzu sauce - so good!::Customer Service::Five stars for service! I mentioned to Justin that our chocolate lava cake wasn't very warm, and Elizabeth kindly offered to make us a fresh one. She was incredibly thoughtful and kind. The entire staff provided top-notch service, and I'll definitely be back soon. Grace is courteous, well-mannered , and personable. I appreciate her positive energy. ::M's Notes::- Indoor seating- Parking: Garage and lot available

We came here for yakitori on a Sunday (11am at opening) after working out. We ordered just the skewers and shared the following:1. Kobe beef2. Beef tongue3. Chicken heart4. Chicken liver5. Chicken gizzard6. Chicken cartilageWe also wanted to try A5 Wagyu (on the menu), but they didn't have any. They were accommodating with no sauce and just salt on all the meat. The lemony dipping sauce they offered complimented the meat well. Favorites were the Kobe beef followed by the tongue. Least favorite was the gizzard and cartilage. Liver is definitely an acquired taste but lots of health benefits. Bill came out to be $40 for 2. We were still hungry afterwards and went home for a second lunch.

So... GOOD! We came as a group of five for a work lunch at around 12 PM on a Thursday, and it was nearly empty (which was perfect). This was a rare occasion where the food tasted as good, if not better, as it looked--and it looked BOMB. I got the Hakata ramen with a poached egg and spicy miso paste, and let me tell you that it was *chef's kiss* perfect. The noodles were the perfect firmness for me, the egg yolk was nice and watery, and the spicy miso paste was delicate enough to not overpower the dish. My coworkers all got the yakitori lunch special and they were also super happy with it.To top it all off, service was quick, friendly, and not too intrusive at all. Would absolutely return!

Tasty little bites to eat, they have some favorites like beef tongue and squid. I think this business has shrink-flation, items of food are of smaller portions but prices remain the same. Service is fast paced and regularly checks on you. The claw machines by the front are rigged like all claw machines, not a strong grip. I spent $20 and only got one toy.

AH. DIDNT LIKE THE FOOD, BUT LOVED THEIR KIND SERVICES. I am ALWAYS looking for some good soup! There is a seafood udon soup that I love, and I wanted to try and find a replica. Well, it just will not be here. Service: 5/5 People here are so nice, which makes it hard to be upset that my visit wasn't worth the stop. The employees are so kind, although it was very empty. They seemed to be happy and very upbeat. Food: 1/5 I didn't like my Udon noodles, broth, or tempura. Like some of the other negative reviews stated, the broth ratio was honestly the smallest I've ever seen. They gave me nearly nothing for the actual soup. . However, maybe that was okay once I tasted it. The soup was sweet! I HATE sweet soups, I love salty/ spicy and was rather shocked to taste it so sweet. The noodles? Ahhhh. Spongy? Soggy? Old? I'm not sure why the noodles came the way they did, maybe because my order was takeout? The tempura was also a tragic waste. This could be one of the worst udon soups I've ever had. I do not mean that disrespectfully, but what I am trying to say is it just wasn't for me. Price & portion: -1/5. The price for my soup was not worth it! $20.00! The portion was for a toddler. I am a light eater, to top it off. But, even for a small eater like myself- it was NOT enough or worth the money. All in all- I really loved their ambiance, and how clean the restaurant was. I think their portions, prices, and taste is just not IT for me personally. I will not ever come back; however what pulled me In is their amazing reviews. We might all just have very different tastebuds and that is okay!

Came back in December and the menu was updated again! Food was delicious and service was excellent. Shantavious primarily served us, he was extremely attentive as were all the servers who helped us that night. We got the yakitori combo, which is a good value and delicious. Will definitely be back again soon!

Came here for a lateish night bite after an event. Parking in the free structure right behind the building is very convenient and you can enter through the backway. I was craving creamy udon so we immediately ordered the Uni Cream Udon ($28.50). It was exactly what I wanted, extra creamy, umami taste, with silky udon noodles, and the uni + caviar topping was delish, although you always wish there was more of it. Another star was the Yakitori (no brainer) - each skewer was grilled just right + Kobe Style Beef w/ Garlic $8.00 - must get! The beef was so tender+ Intestine $4 - perfect chew and charred flavorWe also ordered: + Salmon Carpaccio $12.00 - salmon was thinly slice and I liked the ponzu but the fish flakes just soaked up the sauce and didn't really add too much+ Fried Chicken Skin $8.00 - the skin was more tough, would skip for next timeLooking forward to coming back for more yakitori!

Eee it's back. The ramen still tastes yummy. Perfect for my lunch time cravings when I want shinsegumi. The cha sui tastes a little different than before. Not sure what it is. But they do give you more noodles now because before I'd be able to finish it but now I would leave a couple of bites. (I don't have that big of a stomach)Chicken karage was crispy and juicy and came with greens. I was not a fan of the salmon carpaccio, it didn't have enough sauce. Would come back for their udon next

Chicken skin was crispy and light, yakitori was what I expected and ramen was a good size for the price. Large and bright dining area. Larger than the other locations I'm used to but I think the fountain valley location is my favorite though way smaller. They have little claw machines in the front which I thought was a cute touch for those coming in with kids. Attentive service.
