Shawarma Loca

My cousin has been talking about this place and we finally tried it out. I decided to get the 24" chicken loca/beef combo plate. The combo plate comes with fries, garlic sauce, mixed pickled veggies and coleslaw. I really liked their boom sauce the most. As for the wrap, I would get the chicken again. The beef was also flavorful but I preferred the chicken. I wish their garlic sauce was more garlicky since it was a bit bland for my liking. My cousin also got the boom boom cocktail. I think the base is a banana smoothie since that's what it tasted to me. I loved the fruit toppings it came with aong with the nuts and cream. The cocktail was not too sweet and everythign paired well. The worker also gave my nephew a sample of their fruit punch which was yummy.Overall, the food was good, service was great and there's plenty of seating inside.

Wtf actually. My spouse is ordering a combo of the house shawarma, she said "no"... i stood there in silence for a few seconds and then asked "are you out??" She said "yeah". Ok. Wtf. Then i asked "do you not have any shawarma?" And she literally ignored me. I said "hi, do you have shawarma and lamb?" And she i fired me and still asked my spouse "anything else". Why the eff is she ignoring me? Then my spouse stole her i had a question and she said "i barely speak English". Wtf. Then it took us like 10 minutes to just get our one plate. This place sucks. How does a shawarma place not have lamb????

Service is terrible. The restaurant is dirty. You couldn't sit on the tables they were filthy. The food did not taste fresh and It's not cheap either. There's better shawarma to try in that area.خدمة سيئة طعام لا يقدم حتى للحيوان الوسخ في كل مكان وعلى طاولاته لا انصح احد يجرّبه

One of the best shawarma places i've been to, my go to spot now, service and really quick and the people there are super nice

Wow...worst shawarma I have ever had. The beef shawarma was rancid, chicken shawarma had a pink coloring in it! I don't understand how anybody could rate this anything over 1 star. Everybody I know told me they have gone downhill since they went away with their food truck... I Should have listened and avoided it!

What an interesting place. In short, I'm glad this place is near my house, they do have good food, chaotic at times, closes late, and decent price. I've been here twice and probably will be back for more times.FOOD - First time I came, I got the chicken boom and loca special. I like how they cut it up so it's really easy to split with someone. They're good! The sauces are key though. You need it as the chicken seemed a tad dry. But so worth it. And second time I just came in for a single wrap and I like the way it holds and easy to eat. My one star off is purely only for the dry chicken. Next time I'll come back and try other stuff and see if those make up for it. But the food is still good!! No doubt!SERVICE - Service is alright. They have a tablet on which you order on that takes card. I'm assuming if you're paying cash, you're seeing someone at the register. It does take a few minutes to get your food since they make it to order (which I appreciate). AMBIANCE - Ha. First visit was CHAOTIC. I think everyone had their kids there after school so it was basically like a daycare with kids running around from dining area to kitchen. But that doesn't bother me. If you're a family business, you run it. As long as it doesn't hurt the kids, doesn't hurt the customers, or impede with food service. I know what it's like. Second visit was more calm, few diners, but groups of friends were meeting up. Definitely seems like the place where they know a lot of people. I like that. The space is good too! Indoor seating with a large patio for outdoor seating.Overall - I really do like this place and will most likely be coming back often.

The place looks inviting, but as soon as I walked in with my friend we both felt like we didn't belong there. To tell you how I felt as we ordered sat down then asking for napkins I ultimately knew I wouldn't be back here, why would anyone after feeling like you weren't even wanted here. The fries were good I guess give credit when due, but the main thing I came here for, I mean it's in the name, "Shawarma" I never knew would have thought that the loca part meant they use flour tortillas. They also use like a 3 cheese blend that make it taste exactly like a cheese quesadilla with added protein. This is definitely not what I expected when I decided to tu for shawarma, and they're crazy to call it that, hence the name shawarma loca. The sauce is $.50 cents but I wouldn't get them if they were free. Authentic is all over the walls, but si is some guy shooting up sauce like it's morphine or that sweet H. Avoid this place! Definitely not authentic! I decided to try this place on my way to Brookhurst because I've been wanting to try this place, but I've never been so disappointed by a shawarma in such a long time. I can't get over the name.

This is a Jordanian Mexican fusion spot that incorporates flour tortillas with their meals. They have a delicious Boom Boom sauce, and the Shawarma meats are so good! I like to get the sauce on the side, but a lot of the dishes include it inside the wraps. They open at noon daily, and it can get busy, so I like to be the first in line to avoid a wait. They have some crazy and super filling drinks! Best to show up starving!

Met my friend here for lunch, she suggested it wow this place is so delicious. It's a fusion sort of shawarma place amazing. I ordered the Boom chicken they cut it up so it's easier to eat. The flavors were bursting and the dipping sauce is amazing. It wasn't busy when we came in but it looks like one of those places that get very busy. They have indoor and outside seating. We chose to sit inside, the guy who took our order was really nice so sorry I don't remember his name. But they took our order quickly and got our food fast. They had 3 fruit drinks she let me taste them it reminded me of a popsicle the flavors I didn't end up getting one I drank water instead but the juice is really tasty. We had a wonderful lunch, thank you so much for amazing service, delicious food and for letting me try those drinks I appreciate it. I highly recommend to try this place if you haven't been here before Have a beautiful day :)Aloha
