The interior is small so finding seating can be difficult. I went on a Friday at 12ish and all the tables were full so I just ended up getting it to go. The chicken enchiladas were very good and I loved their take on salsa verde. It's very cilantro heavy which for me is great (I know a lot of people have issues with cilantro so you might not like it). The beans and rice were fine. The staff were friendly and helpful!

Restaurant was really small, seating was really crowded. Service wasn't very friendly felt very rushed especially being our first time no greeting as you walked in just a few menus on the wall.. we ordered the taco Tuesday special of different meats carne asada was very bland not much taste pastor was delicious carnitas was horrible was very dry and the chicken was just ok We got the "fancy tacos" carne asada again they were just okay the salsa was bland not much flavor The tortillas were good The Michelada was very big and good Overall it was okay not some place I would go again

I'm giving this place a two because of the food. The Service was okay, he was a nice person, for the very small interaction there was. I don't know if this place has stop caring, but it was definitely not the same. Food. : my burrito wasn't very good, unfortunately and it took a long time to get. I hate leaving reviews like this but it wasn't good. My wife and I got the breakfast burrito and it was super soft because they drown it with beans to make it seem bigger and it makes the whole thing soft to hold. It took for ever for us to get and the only thing we could taste, was beans. The bacon was soft as well. For $30 bucks, it's not worth it. Only thing that was good, was the salsa! Green is fire. And it tookI'm going to try their tacos soon, so I'll see if I can change my review because I want to!

I finally got a chance to try this local spot. And didn't disappoint. Restaurant was very clean and reception was warm and friendly. I tried their Huevos a la Mexicana Burrito. Food had great taste and delicious with plentiful portions. Definitely coming back to try some of their other plates.

Your thoughts overall? 1/2Came by for some tacos. Tried their chicken, asada and al pastor. Enjoyed the al pastor the most. Was decent. Thought the chicken and asada were both a bit dry and bland. Pastor was slightly better, but not by much. The onions could have been diced a bit more, some pieces were quite large. Their Tacos are on Special for $1.50 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Expenses. Worth it? 1/1For the three tacos I paid a little less than 5 bucks. Good deal. Tacos are a bit small, but they are cheap, so the pricing felt fair. Credit/debit accepted. Location & Ease of Access 1/1Location was cool. Enjoyed the decor/art on the walls. Staff was welcoming and kind. They have a salsa bar. Located in a small plaza across the street from Trader Joe's. Several free parking spots available. Plan to return? 0/1Probably not, I'm an asada taco fan and the asada here wasn't great.

I went there this morning to pick up a breakfast burrito. It comes with your choice of meat/protein; bacon, sausage, ham or Machaca, (which is shredded beef with bell peppers). I ordered the bacon and it comes with eggs and beans. I'm pretty sure the bacon was the chunky type or the bacon ends. If you will. Once in a while, I would come across a big chunk of bacon, and it was very tasty. Not to mention, they serve that thing piping hot. I could've left it there for an hour and still came back and ate it hot. Keep up the good work guys. The only thing I would probably add or recommend is some homestyle potatoes to add inside the burritos to make them epic

The chicken burrito is my favorite. Easily the best burrito in Whittier and that salsa verde is . Hector and team are always friendly and have nearly committed my order to memory. I almost always take my order, just call ahead and take it to go. We've used them for catering too over the years. Highly recommend the tacos!

Tried this place for the 1st time & It'll be the last time, customer service wasn't that great and the food wasn't very flavorful I got the alpastor soft taco & a sope with asada over flowing with lettuce the beans taste like they were canned beans. I'm not trying to be complainer but I also work with customer service the guy kept going by there was absolutely no acknowledgment whatsoever and I know most Mexican restaurants are very welcoming very tasteful. Not once was I asked if I needed anything the man got irritated with me when I asked for a lil container for salsa oh & $2.00 dollars for refill of coke $2.98 for the 1st round! Also don't expect to get chips and salsa hahah
