First time trying this restaurant. Was in the Irvine area and we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed. The BBQ and all the food we had was flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly. I've had my share of BBQ at restaurants and at outdoor events and this place hit and checked every box. The different sauces were amazing. The server was AMAZING and did not miss a beat in making sure we were takin' care of...Amber (from Las Vegas) was one of best servers we have encountered in a long time. The ambiance of the location was perfect for a BBQ establishment. It was inviting and with a down home feel. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! If you give them a try.... Make sure you're ready for some great BBQ!

My husband and I went to dinner here last night. We were excited to have a "good" BBQ place near us. Sadly, it is not that!! The server was great! He was super friendly, energetic and helpful, full of personality and charm. He was definitely the best part of this place!! He needs to go somewhere that also has good food. The food was terrible! I am not really a "smoked" lover, so I opted for the Alabama pork with garlic mashed potatoes with white sauce. Served with corn succatash and cornbread. Our server said it was like chicken fried steak with potatoes and gravy. The pork wasn't bad. It had a nice crunch and wasn't too salty. It has about an 8th of a teaspoon of white sauce. You could barely see it, and you definitely couldn't taste it. The pork needed a sauce, and the bbq sauces just weren't it. The corn and potatoes were so salty I couldn't even begin to eat them! The cornbread was dry and lacked flavor. My husband had the 2 meat combo, burnt ends (not burnt at all, just fatty), and ribs, just okay, mostly dry. He had corn & chicken chowder (very salty) and roasted root vegetables. I love roasted root veggies. These were the worst thing we were served, so extremely salty and mushy!! My husband had a beer and I had water. We also had an appetizer, fried dill pickles and jalapeno slices with ranch for dipping. This was fine. $115 (included 20% tip). Total waste of money! So sad. I wish I could remember the servers name. I hope he's reading this review. He has long really curly (ringlets) dark brown hair and super energetic. If you are reading this, please go work somewhere that has good food!! You are an excellent server!! Only good thing about this place.

Sippin' Santa brought us here and we couldn't resist! Sauced has a great bbq reputation and this was truly a match made in heaven!Holiday tiki vibes are in full effect here! Servers are the nicest and really take care of you, and menu and drink offerings are stacked. We went with the Jingle Bird and Silent Nightcap to drink, and yes we actually bought these mugs to take home to add to the collection. If you are a pretzel lover, Sauced has got your back. This was honestly the biggest and best pretzel we've ever had. Not only is it HUGE, but it's full of flavor (and of course you get cheese and mustard on the side)The Bbq offerings here are a plenty, parking lot is huge and you definitely want to come visit the team here. The place has a tiki "touch" so you feel aloha but you can also come with the family and just hang out. We are already planning our next trip, see you there!

Sauced is a new BBQ place in the Tustin Market Place. It is a modern/sports themed restaurant with a bar and tablesall set around TVs with your favorite teams playing. It is very similar to Daves Famous BBQ before it, Sauced has a few different items. The staff is kind and attentive. We were seated right away and the food came quickly. We ordered the three meats combo and shared. This mealcomes with two sides. It is really one side and cornbread. We got a wedge salad. The food is very good. They have a large selection of drinksif you like that. One item that was especially good was the chili and cornbread. The ribs had a strong smoky flavor which is something I love. There were a few minor let downs that limited this place to four stars out of five. First, they offer no chips or cornbread unlessyou order it off the menu for $9.00 Based on my experience with other BBQ restaurants, cornbread should be included with the meal. When I ordered my chili, she asked me if I want cheese and onions on top?Of course, I said yes. Then I noticed on my bill I was charged $3.50 for this. Does this sound right? I asked my server, she said nothing is free now days. Okay, you are right. Next time, I will go to Lucilles where the biscuits are free! As many as you want! with incredible honey butter, free! I liked the food at Sauced, the service, and the atmosphere. The food value is great. We had a second meal the next day on what we took home. This place is good, but maybe not perfect.

Very good barbecue place in Irvine. It's nice to have a good barbecue spot in Irvine - there aren't many in OC. The different smoked meats and sides are all really flavorful. I especially liked the dinosaur rib and Mac & cheese. The bumpkin appetizer was unique and tasty - it's basically a bbq egg roll. Overall, Sauced is not quite as good as some of the top tier bbq places in Texas, but certainly good for California.Service was good and atmosphere is nice - nothing fancy, but plenty of TVs to watch sports.

Came here for a quick drink since we live down the street. Drinks were strong, I will give them that. Not the best flavor wise. We ordered happy hour fries which were pretty good. We only had time for one drink but the menu looked really good so may come back to try more food. The high top tables were really uncomfortable, I would probably ask to sit at the lower tables next time. They have cute Christmas drinks for the holidays also! Overall 8/10 spot!

****3.5 Stars****I was so excited when this first popped up to replace Famous Dave's. Alas, our experience wasn't anything amazing. Inside: The space is more or less exactly the same before. Very spacious with patio seating, and bar seating as well. Very open. Great for big groups. Food: They had a "limited time" menu for different mac and cheeses so we tried their Cajun Shrimp Mac & Cheese which had bacon bits and green onion toppings. Nothing Cajun about this. No flavor. Super creamy but lacking seasoning. The shrimp were measly and the serving size was for 2-3 people but overall small portion for the price. Would not get again. 1/2 Smoked chicken with 2 sides: The chicken was a great portion, moist and cooked perfectly. But Really Under seasoned. They have 4 signature BBQ sauces for dipping. So that helped. The sides: the green bean casserole was terrible. No flavor. Mushy. Just bland cup of greens. The sweet corn was the star. So flavorful and a slight kick of heat. We also tried their jalepeno slaw since their green bean was so disappointing. It was a better side, but again nothing spectacular. Kid's meal: Many options to choose from including a variety of sides. My daughter had the cheeseburger with the sweet potato tots. The cheeseburger was whatever and the tots were terrible. Cold and not crispy at all. Customer service: The hostess and waiter were nice and attended to us periodically. Overall would be happy to come back and try other items as their menu is extensive. But not sure this will be our go to for BBQ.

I have been wanting to try Sauced BBQ ever since I saw the sign pop up. The previous BBQ spot there was Dicky's I think or was it Famous Dave's? Anyways it was awful and closed down. Sauce I hope will do well. Their HH is decent. We got here before 5:30pm which is when HH ends so we got to grab a beer and try out their tacos. We opted for the pork belly and fried chicken. Both were yummy. I really liked the Pork Belly because of the spices and Korean flavors. For the entree we decided to share the 3 meat combo. Which definitely feeds two!! We got the brisket, pulled pork and StLouis style ribs. For the sides we chose the waffle fries and Texas toast. We also ordered their corn bread. Overall everything was delicious. My only issue was the brisket was kind of dry. You really have to sop it up with their different BBQ sauces. Brisket was good and the ribs were fall off the bone. The cornbread was A+Really great place and service was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I want some BBQ

Sauced is an excellent barbecue restaurant. The employees are very friendly and attentive. The decor inside is very nice with plenty of seating. The menu has a wide selection of meats and sandwiches. Their tri tip is very juicy and tender. The brisket is also delicious. The pulled pork is also delicious but a little bit too sour in my opinion. The chili is very delicious as well. However, I did not like the fact that you had to pay extra for cheese and sour cream. I also wished that the restaurant would offer complimentary cornbread instead of having to pay for it as a side.
