When Covid hit, they added on a bar area, smartest move ever thank you There is an older skinny waitress , that I just enjoy giving my order to her, the owners seem like they care they're here hands-on, I've had a meeting here and the person I had the meeting with likes this place also. Good food, caring owner.

The Salt & Pepper was an interesting experience. I walked in around 8:00 p.m., and the place posted that it closed at 10 p.m. I sat down at the counter to make it easier for my server. The place was relatively quiet. They do have a sports bar if you're into that.After scanning the menu, I ordered their seafood plate. The menu stated that it came with a couple of pieces of breaded cod, breaded shrimp, popcorn shrimp, a shrimp skewer, some rice, a roll, and your choice of soup or salad. I opted for the salad. The salad was the best part of the meal. Lettuce, croutons, dressing. Pretty basic.The seafood platter was a disappointment. The breaded cod was pictured as a couple of succulent pieces of fish; what was on my plate were overcooked skinny fish sticks. The breading was tasteless, and the fish was dry. The breaded shrimp tasted like coconut shrimp, not my favorite, and not what I was expecting when it mentioned breading.There were some grilled small shrimp. I don't know if those were supposed to be popcorn or skewered shrimp. Either way, I did not get popcorn shrimp and/or skewered shrimp, but I did get a couple of small pieces of grilled shrimp. They were tasteless.The rice had hard bits of grains in it.The roll was mainly hard, with about a third of it soft enough to eat.I did not finish my plate and did not take the leftovers home.The service was good; they kept my soda filled, which was truly the only plus. I am not sure if this was a normal night or if they decided to unload the bad food on me. Either way, it was enough that I would not give them a second try. What is the saying? If you get bit by a dog, it's the dog's fault; if you get bit by the same dog again, it's your fault. The Salt & Pepper ranked low enough that I can't see it getting better. A second visit is a pass for me.One last note and a HUGE STRIKE for me. The posted hours on Google Maps said they closed at 10 PM. I stopped eating around 9 PM, and most of the place was dark when I walked out. I was the last person there, and I believe they closed up when I walked out. They had to because the cook left at 9. Either they closed early, or they listed their hours online incorrectly. Either way, that issue needs to be fixed. I HATE going somewhere with posted hours showing they are open, only to discover they are closed. With that said, always remember that your mileage may vary.

Food was good.... service.....fair and ambiance.... good. Enjoyed specials [corned beef n cabbage] and food hot. Will comeback for another try. They also have a bar area with lots of tvs.

Growing up in the area, I have driven by this place thousands of times but never even thought to stop in. I had heard that they actually have a pretty happening sports bar scene, which I thought was so random (and interesting) seeing as how it's your typical diner type restaurant. I came in at lunch time. Lots of big TVs and screens, I can see this spot being a good place to catch a game or a fight. I got seated in a booth and I can tell there are a lot of local regulars who frequent. The menu has got traditional American breakfast, sandwiches, burgers -- in addition to Mexican dishes and pizza as well. Service was attentive and prices are quite reasonable (for this day and age). I thought it was cool that I was able to sub fries with fried zucchini at no additional charge. My California club was tasty as was the zucchini -- came out to $17 and change after tax (not including tip). All in all, I got the cozy diner vibe I was looking for, but I also found a place where I could go with friends for a drink and a game!

I love Salt n peper, but I can't stand the volume on karaoke nights. The signing itself is not bad, but the volume is ridiculous. You can't even talk to the person sitting next to you. Horrible. Avoid Tuesdays and Firdays!!The worst part is that the manager (former bust boy) didn't care when this was brought to his attention!!

Big menu I've been here a few times and all of it is good ! Even taco Tuesday full bar too (: right by my house I love it here Customer Service is awesome as well!

Food was delicious especially the Greek omelette the menu offered a delightful array of dishes

I didn't have the best experience with this lady/blonde server that worked here. The food looked good. They messed up twice. And even the third time. I didn't want it and lost my appetite. However, the only person that made experience GREAT was the manager Rogelio. He took care of us. I would come here again but with a different server, with healthier and stronger attitude. Again the server lady's customer service was not the finest, til the end. After complaining to the manager. Other than that I don't know her name, but I would definitely ask for a different server.

Been going there for years , fun place great locals and service and food is good . Can watch the games etc.

Always great service and friendly people and big portions at Salt & Pepper. We have been coming here for 15 plus years and it's our neighborhood favorite. Food is good. Drinks are stiff. Beers are cold. Prices are reasonable. Check it out.
