Sajj has displaced Cava as my favorite place to grab a bowl. I always order online and my food is always ready to pick up. The food is probably closer to four stars but they load up the bowls that one could probably split it into two meals!Love that you can add a cup of lentil soup at no extra charge. Sajj is a great choice for a fast, healthy, reasonably-priced meal.Parking in this center can be tough, particularly during lunchtime during the week. We always order for pick up before the lunch rush to avoid the parking headache!

Ok so... what I loved about this place was that they made beef shawarma healthy (or healthier than other palaces), but it was still delicious...Food seemed fresh and healthy, and the taste was really good too.. beef and chicken shawarma were good, their sumac cauliflower was delicious, pita was made fresh and delicious..Other shawarma are super good, but really heavy (all the delicious animal fat thst gets rendered in a really good shawarma). This shawarma wasn't oily at all, good quality beef, and nicely spiced..Definitely coming here again, and want to try all their appetizers as well

I like Mediterranean food but today's visit was my first time trying a shwarma. This place runs like the old Chipotle, where you choose a vessel (bowl, wrap, etc), slide along the ingredient line to choose what you want, and they pile them on for you on your vessel to make a satisfying portion of food.My chicken shwarma ended up being large and packed enough to feed me twice, but if you are starving, you can definitely finish it and it will fill you up. The quality and the freshness of the ingredients were high. The tzatziki (cucumber yogurt sauce/dip) was a bit on the runny side, but it was tasty. Their spicy tahini sauce was not spicy at all.I received a small side of lentil soup with the shwarma, which was a pleasant surprise. The soup was runny and a bit bland, but that went well with the shwarma that was packed with flavors. They have many vegan ingredients, so this is definitely a place I would recommend to vegans and anyone who likes Mediterranean food. I will return to try their steak bowl.

I love this healthy fast food restaurant. It is so close to where I swim laps. It is also next to a popular restaurant that I used to go to(Everyday Eatery) who got rid of their vegan options (what shame!) so I didn't go back to that restaurant nor this shopping center. Wow, now Sajj will be my favorite place to go to, here. It is a 'Chipotle' style for Mediterranean food. I know it is a fast food but it is much healthier than most. There are lots of vegan options(marked with a 'V'). A bowl with rice or salad, a wrap, or a pita sandwich is the option for vegans, with Falafels. The price is $11.75 for any of the style. I picked vegan bowl with rice then add eggplant ragout, sumac cauliflower, hummus, cucumbers tomatoes mix, cherry peppers mix, lettuce, and spicy tahini sauce on top. One can add many more from the table that is marked with a 'V' and there are a lot. The rice was tumeric rice. I sprinkled some sumac on top. The lentil soup is included with it. For $11.75 it is a huge deal! I could not finish this bowl as it is a lot of food. There were 4 falafels! These falafels are one of the best I have tried.Unfortunately there is only 1 in SoCal. It is a fast food chain or franchise restaurant and started in Northern California. We need more! Thank you so much for providing so many vegan options. My recommendation is not to go during meal times as it can be crowded. The line never stopped when I was there. It is so popular. The parking can be hard to get too during meal times too. So after 1 pm would be best.

Does not honor the advertised Irvine Company Retail Therapy app coupon for bogo half off entree. See picture of coupon attached. We came today 2/1/24 at 5:35pm and they said that the coupon is "online only" even though the coupon says "in store redemption only." Then they said their system does not allow them to redeem it anyways.Take this off the retail therapy app if you can't honor it. This was a waste of our time coming here. Terrible management. Will be reporting to Irvine Company Retail Therapy customer service also.

Placed the order online to pick up after 20 mins, which I did but once I walked in, there was no customers but there were two lady employees sitting in the booths on their phones,The moment I asked for my order was when they realized they have an order to make. Regardless of the food, which I do like and have no complaints about, the customer service definitely needs some attention from management or owners. As you know, there are multiple other food options around. Not sure if I would give this location another chance.

No wait, quick friendly service, tasty and nutritious ingredients. If you want a solid brunch or lunch or early dinner, and there are long lines at the nearby restaurants in this plaza, go to SAJJ! It's BYOB - build your own bowl. Or wrap, or pita. I got a bowl with some chicken shawarma and half rice and half salad. Forgot which sauce, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was quite filling, too. Chicken was nicely seasoned and fortunately not dry. I believe you get a complimentary cup of soup with every order. Soup was bean-based and savory, which was a good addition to my meal. Indoor seating was clean and spacious for being a small shop. Lot parking is doable.

Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, delicious bowls! Nice clean inside aesthetic as well! Definitely beats our go to cava bowls, much fresher homemade tasting food.
