Rosine's Mediterranean Cafe

It's always a 5 dining experience at Rosine's. We've been going there for a couple decades now, maybe three!!! It's titled as a Mediterranean restaurant, but it's not like the others. A lovely local wine bar/resto feel. We always order her 1/2 rotisserie chicken entree. It comes with your choice of two sides. I always have a double order of baba ghanoush! There are many other good choices on the menu, but we just can't get past our favorite. The meal is served with warm fresh soft pita bread, and the garlic butter is irresistible. We also usually have a glass of red wine with this meal. They have a large selection and we tried two different Cabs.Rosine's has always been a nice interior and atmosphere. Over the years, she remodeled and has made it even nicer. First come first serve at their big U-shaped friendly bar too.The service too has always been consistent, friendly and efficient. Valentine's evening was packed. We were going to order takeout, but they accommodated us to sit and dine. 5/5 on all points. You'll love it!

The food here is pretty good. Consistent. Very tasty and very well seasoned.But with that said, the portions are a little bit smaller than you would expect and other places serve, and the pricing is a bit higher as well. It's real easy to spend about $75 for two people and walk out still feeling a little bit hungry. On a plus side, the garlic sauce is absolutely fantastic. Make sure you get extra.

The food here is decent, not anything particularly memorable, but good for Mediterranian cuisine. I feel like the roasted chicken was a little dry and the baba ghanoush came out lukewarm. We also sat at the bar on a not busy night and it seemed to take a long time not only for our food to come out, but also for our drinks to get refilled, to have our check delivered when we were finished, and for the bartender to take our payment. I don't know that I would come back any time soon, which is a shame because this placed used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County.

Super tasty, but definitely an Americanized take on Mediterranean food! The seasoning was on point, and the cut of meat for the kabobs? So tender and juicy! Service started off a little slow, but once the food came out, it was fast--thankfully, because we were starving! The flavors still had that authentic touch but with a bit of an American twist. Would I try it again? Yep! Gotta give it another go to fully make up my mind! Environment was a tiny bit crowded for my taste.

Great food. You have to try their ratatouille. Kabobs are great too! Good service and atmosphere. This is our go to for solid Mediterranean food in the area.

One of my all-time favorite dinner spots for good reason. From the ambiance to the staff to the impressive food itself, Rosine's is a must-visit whether you're local or just visiting. I like to come here for anniversary dinners or other special occasions, because it does get pricey if you get alcohol with your meal, but it's always worth it! Their rotisserie chicken plate is to die for, with multiple sides to make it extra filling (you get to take home half your dinner for another meal of leftovers, so it's like getting two for one!). And the GARLIC SAUCE... my goodness, it's my favorite thing in the world and Rosine's is an especially perfect recipe. I've only ever gotten this meal each time I've come here because it's so satisfying that I never try anything else! But their entire menu is so tasty (including the hummus appetizer) and everything about the visit is intimate, cozy, and delicious. Love it here.

Came here for a family birthday dinner. It is tucked away in a nice Anaheim Hills plaza. Decent amount of parking but seems to be a busy location. Called to make a reservation and were seated promptly. It was a Wednesday night but the restaurant became very busy soon after we arrived. It is more of a nicer sit down Mediterranean restaurant with a good selection or kebabs, rotisserie chicken, and other options. It seems that the rotisserie is one of their signatures and you can see them roasting it at the window. I ordered a plate of the chicken with comes with 2 sides of your choice and my partner ordered the minced meat kebabs that comes with 2 meat kebabs and a vegetable kebab. You also have a choice of rice for the kebabs. We also received refillable pita bread and garlic sauce for the table. I have to say the chicken was very dry and a bit disappointing. The tabbouleh was great and garlic sauce definitely helped. I did really like the kebabs. My dad loved his lamb shank as it isn't common to find in restaurants. It was too gamey for me though. Service was quite slow for the night. It seemed like there was only 2 servers and some runners/bussers. Ordered a few non-alcoholic drinks which were honestly overpriced at around $9-10 and took a while. We also asked someone who wasn't our server for some more pita and then the cake we brought also took a while to come out. Although they were kind enough to take it out on a plate and light it, they didn't bring the plates, forks, and the cutting utensil that came with it. So then we were left waiting after saying happy birthday and blowing the candle out for the server to bring a knife. I think this is still worth checking out and seems like a great socializing spot when you've got 2+ hours to spare for dinner.

I've been eating at rosins since high school once a week since it was accross from us and excellent. Before the expansion in Anaheim Hills yes there was a wait, not bad. Went there recently brought a gorgeous blond date. Had to remind them were waiting. Took forever to get menus.. once ordered we never got our food or appitizer at all. for a good twenty minutes.. nevertheless any attentionI told the waiter we are taking it to go... instant attitude MISS THE OLD ROSINES FAMILY FEEL

We often go here for an early dinner after attending the Chance Theater in Anaheim. We love the roasted chicken, their famous dish that is served with Toum, the Mediterranean garlic sauce that makes everything yummy. Hubby often has the tender lamb chops or the lamb shanks. The Greek salad is a favorite as well. It is always crowded with many families crowding around the large tables. So it can be loud. And reservations are recommended. Service is prompt and friendly.
