Rockwell's Bakery, Cafe & Bar

In the past few months I have ordered several cakes and have dined at the cafe. Rockwells is a pillar in the community and a sure fire pick for the best and most beautiful cakes for any occasion.My vintage heart cake came out amazing Thank you!

02/10/2025I was so excited to find this bakery/cafe in a neighborhood on my way home from work. I needed to buy a cake for my daughter's birthday. This bakery/cafe was located in a little plaza. It looked very welcoming with huge display cases of baked goods. I didn't get a chance to walk through the cafe but it looked cozy. There was only one customer ahead of me so the wait wasn't long. The female employee was friendly and packaged up my items quickly. I bought a slice of their Confetti Cake with Raspberry Mousse, a blueberry muffin, and a chocolate chip cookie. The huge slice looked promising for my daughter's birthday as we didn't want to buy a whole cake. NOPE!!! We were completely wrong and VERY DISAPPOINTED with the slice of cake. It visually looked good and it was nicely decorated. But the cake slice was HARD and DRY! It was HORRIBLE!!!!I felt SO bad that my daughter had this horrible tasting piece of cake for her special day.

We stopped for the cake charcuterie board. DELISH! 12 different fillings/frosting, 6 different cakes. Enough for 4pp!! They have a full bakery, cafe, bar. Service is good. Live music. Would come back again

Good variety of food choices, the ambiance is nice either in the bar restaurant side or outdoor patio area. Friendly service and the Bakery counter is must to check out before you leave after eating.... Would definitely recommend....

I recently visited Rockwells for breakfast, and it was quite a mixed experience. It was a busy morning, so it took a long time to get our food. My uncle had to ask for a coffee refill four times before he finally got it, which was frustrating. The slow service was just because it was pretty busy.As for the food, it was pretty good but nothing extraordinary. The highlight was definitely the cinnamon roll, which was delicious. However, I was disappointed with the Eggs Benedict and wouldn't order it again. Additionally, they got my side dish wrong, which added to the mixed feelings.I might consider coming here again, but I would likely try somewhere else first. Overall, it was okay, but I've had better breakfast experiences in Villa Park.

Rockwell's is my favorite place to go for weekend brunch. I love the laidback, family vibe. Every time I come to eat here, I always ask for Victor. You can tell that he genuinely wants to give you the best experience possible. He always provides attentive service and he's so hospitable in an authentic way. The service and the vibes make this such a great place to unwind.

This place is a good local family vibe. and the food is off the chain. I like the ambiance and the service is great. enjoy!!!!

Great food . Bakery is incredible. Love the Happy Hour from 3-6 Monday -FridayThis place has nice out door seating with waterfall and fireplace.

Muffins are ginormous and amazing Service was greatAnd then I walked through a door and had some beers!Doesn't get any better

Cakes are delicious! They can be a little rich, though, so a little cake goes a long way! Have purchased two wonderful birthday cakes from here and loved them both.
