My husband and I had such a great date night here last night! We've been here several times before over the years, and the food has actually gotten progressively better each time we've gone. The service was absolutely incredible last night. Our bartender Arturo was awesome and I forget his name, who I'm assuming was their manager?, was also all hands on deck working hard and super vibrant. They've recently revamped and simplified their menu, so a few of the things I was looking forward to were no longer available, but that always means new delicious dishes to try! There aren't any vegetarian friendly dishes besides the apps like the queso fundito or quesadilla. I got the mole enchiladas but asked for no chicken and they were delicious! The mole had more of a kick than I was expecting but definitely super tasty. I think you'd just have to ask for modifications to their dishes to make them veggie friendly, I just am always worried about inconveniencing the kitchen if it's too much of an ask so not having a menu option did make me a little sad. I'm pregnant so all the delicious cocktails were a no go, but their margarita flight looked like a nice post partum treat in my future that I can't wait to try, but my Jamaica water was sooooo good. My husband loved his mezcal drinks. The ambience is always dimly/romantically lit, lots of tvs playing sports usually which we enjoy, and a smaller more intimate room.

Great customer service and food! We had the carne asada tacos with rice and beans-- delicious! Had a few shots and complete the night with a cocktail of "Diva" which had cucumbers, tajin and tequila.. not a bad combo. (See picture) That evening the restaurant turned into a dance club so a good way to burn off the taco carbs. Great night life! A much try it in the Fullerton area.

If you wanna go to a place where you're gonna be disrespected by the owners son Julian, have him talk to you like you're dumb and embarrass you in front of everyone there. This is the place. Don't think the owner which is his dad Alberto is gonna be nice either. If I can regret one thing would be being loyal to this place that had no problem being rude to someone that supported this business and encouraged multiples to try it. And no I will not take down my initial post on the restaurants page because everyone there deserves to know how you guys are regardless of the hours.

I was recently there for their Banda night, it was so much fun. The place was not too crowded which made it even better!! I was able to try their Mexican Candy Shot, it was soooo good!!! It's a must try. I liked it so much I had the bartender make me a drink. The Banda playing was pretty good, played good music, had everyone there dancing. I'll definitely be going back, liked the very relaxed vibes.

Disappointing Experience at Revolucion Cantina & MezcaleriaWe recently visited Revolucion Cantina & Mezcaleria for Taco Tuesday, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The concept of paying $17.99 per person upfront for unlimited tacos and access to a salsa bar with watered-down aguas frescas was fine, but being prompted to tip before receiving any service felt odd--and as it turned out, the service did not justify it.When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation (we didn't) and were seated at the bar because they were "booked out." However, over half of the tables remained empty during our visit, making us question the real reason for not seating us properly. With only an hour to spare (table limit), we wanted to order drinks before getting tacos, but it took about 10 minutes for our server (Pedro/Pablo - has a "man-bun) to approach us. When he finally did, he focused on upselling the happy hour menu without fully understanding it himself. As a mezcal enthusiast, I was surprised that a place with "mezcaleria" in the name only offered two mezcal-based drinks. The confusion continued when I asked about their $10 happy hour margaritas. The server suggested a "double margarita" for $22, claiming it was "$5 cheaper," which made no sense. When I inquired about the "Bandera flight," he told me it was $12 for three 4oz margaritas or $17 for five--only to later say it was actually $22. The math wasn't mathing, and when I pointed it out, he seemed completely lost. After sticking with a standard house margarita (which was quite tasty and strong), it took another 15 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse, another party who sat down after us received their drinks first. Not only did we spend $45 upfront (with gratuity) for Taco Tuesday, but we also shelled out another $41 for a couple of cocktails and endured the subpar service. As for the food, we did get our money's worth. My partner enjoyed five tacos and built their own nachos, while I had eight tacos--bringing my average to about $2.50 per taco. The tacos themselves were flavorful, and the food would be the only reason we'd consider returning. The final straw was watching the staff pour sodas from a can into glasses. For a fully established restaurant and bar, I would expect fountain drinks, not canned sodas.Overall, while the tacos were decent, the confusing pricing, slow service, and odd practices left us feeling underwhelmed. We'd rate this place a 5/10.

Bryant was amazing, attentive, kind and quick with her service. I can see why people gravitate towards him. The vibe of the restaurant was relaxing and inviting. The food and drinks had me thinking I should keep going back for more, but those New Year's resolutions have me stopping myself.
