Revolucion Cantina & Mezcaleria

We just want to say thank you to Brian, who was our bartender tonight. He made us some bomb ass old fashioned and a mezacal/tequila old fashion. We appraised him because we told him we tried other old fashions from the other restaurants around DTF, and his was the BEST one, hands down. He even took the time to smoke the drinks. Which was a cool thing to post on IG. Thank you Brian for the experience.

We came here months ago when we first heard about it on Instagram. Line was out the door but the food was worth the 40 min wait! We loved it! Yesterday Tues, 2/18 was my daughter's 9th birthday. We made a reservation for 10ppl at 4:30pm (3 families, 5 adults, 5 kids). The reviews were right. It's really gone down hill since it's hype on IG. As soon as you walk in, the bathrooms smelled TERRIBLE. That whole section of the restaurant smelled like sewer water. The girls had to use the bathroom and were gagging inside the stall. The agua frescas were no longer on stage, but out on the patio and they didn't have all the flavors. The kids really LOVED their horchata, especially to combat the spicy carne asada, so we were all really disappointed when they didn't have any. I talked to 2 guys and I asked if I could buy horchata on the side or if they had any bottled ones cuz the kids mouths were burning. Nope, nothing. They used to have a dessert station with fried plantains and jello with cream but they didn't have that either, so the poor kids didn't have any kind of dairy to help with the spice. When we came months ago, the guy making the tacos would also make quesadillas for the kids. All 5 kids were asking for quesadillas yesterday but the cook kept saying "No we don't do that". We had to talk to 3-4 different employees to finally convince them. One employee confirmed management changed everything and slimmed things down. He said they used to have a big happy hour menu but now it's just a few items.By the time we left around 6ish, there was no line for tacos, no outside line waiting to get in :( Food was good for $17, but it's pretty evident with the lack of people that everyone misses the variety.

Taco Tuesday Bust!!!I decided to come have a nice lunch here. According to pictures on social media.Unfortunately nothing tasted authentic.Especially the barbacoa, carnitas and tinga. They all had a funky taste to them. I also tried the aguas. They also tasted like Mexican kool-aid packets. They did have great service and everything was set up so nicely.Kinda dead spot for a Taco Tuesday, need I say more...

We had a Fantastic meal here! Great modern and chill vibe, great drinks, and service was fast. We had margaritas and tacos w rice and beans. So much flavor! Absolutely will visit again!

I was on a work trip and was looking for place to eat for dinner. I found this place through a social media influencer. When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by staff. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The night I went was taco Tuesday buffet. The buffet had taco stations, nachos stations, condiments and Jamaica station. The tacos and nachos were phenomenal and delicious. My favorite meats were carne asada and carnitas. These meats had so much flavor that just exploded in your mouth. I also had cucumber and watermelon drink which was very refreshing. The ambiance was customer friendly and plenty of seating. The price of the buffet was very reasonable. A great place to get great Mexican food and drinks.

If you're in the mood for tacos and looking for an affordable AYCE ($16.99/person) option, Revolución Cantina is worth a visit! I stopped by around 6 PM for Taco Tuesday and was immediately impressed by the lively ambiance and welcoming vibes.The taco selection is solid, offering a variety of meats like asada, barbacoa, carnitas, pollo, and al pastor. While the flavors were good, I found the meats a bit on the salty side for my taste. They also provide a nice range of condiments, including salsas and onions, to customize your tacos. I'd rate the tacos a 4/5. They were good but didn't blow me away. The watermelon agua fresca was a refreshing complement to the meal, and they have a few other options worth trying. They also have a nacho section with nacho cheese and ground beef. The staff's outstanding service really stood out to me. They were attentive and consistently cleared our table while we grabbed another round of tacos. In summary, Revolución Cantina might not serve the most amazing tacos ever, but for the price and AYCE deal, it's a great spot to satisfy your taco cravings. I'll definitely be back on another Taco Tuesday night!

I tried the all-you-can-eat taco experience at Revolución in Fullerton, and while the variety of options was impressive, no particular meat choice really stood out to me in terms of flavor. It was nice that they offered nachos, so you could create your own loaded plate, which added a fun, customizable element to the meal.That said, the experience felt more focused on quantity over quality, which isn't my personal preference. To be clear, nothing was bad or inedible--just not particularly memorable.The ambiance was cool, with a lively mix of families and friends enjoying Tequila Tuesday. The restaurant had a fun, upbeat vibe, and the staff did a great job keeping tables clear of empty plates, which was much appreciated given the all-you-can-eat setup.Overall, it's a decent spot if you're looking for a casual night out with lots of variety and a fun atmosphere, however it's more of a one and done tried for me.

It's been long overdue but here it finally is, my review. So about a year ago my husband and I got engaged and soon after that we started to try and plan everything out. We started looking for a place that could host around 80 people. We started looking around for places in the area but all these places lacked...character. A lot of places looked nice but they lacked a feeling which my fiancé (now husband) and I could only describe as homey, or as he would say it in Dutch 'gezellig'. Then we started thinking about places that we've visited together where we did get that feeling, and we both thought about the Cantina. We reached out to the Cantina and told them about our plans, they said it was possible and we soon started making plans, then unbeknownst to us the Cantina switched owners.For a second we were worried that the plans we made with the previous owner no longer applied but the new management was very helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond to help us lift the celebration to a whole new level. The owner, management and staff had been nothing but helpful and very thoughtful. On the day of, the staff was there when we needed them and checked in on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. If you're looking for a party with good food (and I mean goooodddd food, I am salivating thinking about it), friendly people and good vibes then look no further than the Cantina!
