The employee was helpful and answering my questions and helped me find something on the menu according to my preferences. I got the cold brew with sugar-free vanilla syrup. I was glad that they had four different sugar-free syrup options. My friend got their lavender lemonade and he really enjoyed it. Their menu was filled with a variety of other food and drink options. I loved the cups that they serve them in. They were various aesthetically pleasing and I love cats!I was extremely impressed with the environment . It was decorated in a captivating way there were many areas to sit, including inside of a tree !! there was a whole room in the back full of games to play. This room also included a gift shop. Me and my friend sipped our drinks and played games and browsed the gift shop. There was also a vending machine that sold trinkets and crafts and stickers among other things.I was impressed by a table that had resources on it for free STI testing, support group information, what to do if ICE shows up, and other things. there was a pride flag hanging on the door, and I felt that the environment was very LGBTQ+ friendly. I think it's great that such a welcoming and accepting space is available for the community.I highly recommend this establishment ! Not only did they have great food and drink, but they had a great environment and atmosphere that made for a great experience overall.

I first heard of Requiem back when it first opened and, being a huge fan of both Final Fantasy and themed bars/restaurants, I was super excited to finally make it there this year. The good - You can tell they really went all out with the decor - so many places say they're themed and what they really mean is they have 5 posters and some wall art they found on etsy, but this place is theeemed. The room is split into 3 "sections" - mystical forest, neon cyberpunk, and...fantasy chapel..ish?It looks great, good job. We didn't have any food as we'd just eaten, but I had the Bonfire Latte, which was marshmallow and dark chocolate and delicious, and my husband tried to order the one beer they have on the menu but they were out, so he got a white claw, which suffice it to say is not his jam. So, onto the bad. Well, not bad, let's say onto the constructive criticism. The layout - the room is separated by a massive looking table and throne, and, while awesome, it splits the room while also wasting a lot of space that could be filled with more comfortable seating. The seating - there's just...not enough of it? This place is in urgent need of some corner booths and some actual bar tables. Places for groups to sit comfortably for long periods without being awkwardly split up because the seating is so sporadic. The drinks - they need to better utilize their beer/wine license and have more on offer, because I've never seen a place that only offers one type of beer, and then doesn't even have that in stock. You might say "well it's a coffee shop, they don't want people getting drunk", and that's fine, but they already sell beer, wine, and schnapps cocktails, so clearly they're open to it. My suggestion would be to obviously put a few more beers on the menu, and include sake/shochu and sake cocktails, as not everyone likes sweet schnapps or white claw flavors. Sweet/dry vermouth are also within the limits of the beer/wine license I believe, so that already opens up a lot of other potential drink flavors. I was also surprised at the lack of Final Fantasy references. We spotted some characters on the stained glass window, and that was pretty much it. Not a huge complaint, was just hoping that some of the potion/food names would be references or maybe we'd see a tonberry hiding out in the corner or something. But hey, they've been around for like 10 years now so probably don't need my constructive feedback, whaddo I know??

What a fun place this is. Looking for a unique spot to have a quick coffee break, or to sit and catch up with friends? This is an excellent spot that's not your typical coffee joint. It's like a cave like fantasy dim lit place haha. Hard to explain. Their drink menu is pretty extensive. I included that I could in my pictures. I had the Tea Salt Ice Cream drink. It was pretty good and not too sweet. We ended up with like 6 drinks. I just remember that everyone enjoyed what they ordered haha. They also sell some snacks. Given the amount of drink we ordered, it came out pretty quick. When I'm around the area, and I'm able to find parking easily haha, I don't mind stopping by again.Oh, there's a tree area where kids and adults can hang out, BUT no drinks are allowed there.

If your LIFE feels like a fantasy, well, you're in the right place. REQUIEM CAFE is a magical fantasy themed coffee shop based in Anaheim, CA. They cater tabletop gaming, fandom, coffee, tea and fantasy. Its interior is dim lit with neon sign and decorated with magical world of fantasy. A great place to chill, relax and escape the reality. :D Coffee menu was modest. They have unique coffee names and mixtures. I had a hot Masked Tuxedo, a black and white mocha with a hint of rose. It was bloody good and gave me a cloud nine legend of zelda experience. lol. Service was on point. And Staff were cordial and competent. Prices were competitive and fair. No Cash accepted. Parking lots are available; no public street parking. Overall, it's a nice fantasy coffee shop and I had a very satisfactory experience. I recommend it.

Our first visit to Requiem will, unfortunately, be our last. For me to say this place was an "anticipointment" would be an understatement. I had high hopes for what appeared to be a unique and whimsical café experience, but what I encountered fell flat in almost every aspect except for the ambiance.Let's start with the positive: the ambiance. I genuinely appreciated the dream-like aesthetic of the space. The décor was cozy, surreal, and immersive--it felt like stepping into a fantasy novel. They clearly put a lot of thought into creating an environment that was otherworldly and inviting, and I respect that. It's the one element of the visit that I can say I enjoyed.Unfortunately, everything else about the experience left much to be desired. The staff was, without a doubt, the biggest disappointment. From the moment my wife and I walked in, we felt ignored. This was our first visit, so naturally, we wanted a little guidance. When we approached the cashier and asked for recommendations, we were met with an awkward, blank stare. The cashier then turned and began chatting with a co-worker, a girl standing halfway out of the kitchen. It felt as if we weren't even there. After asking again, we were still met with silence and the same blank expression. Finally, we gave up and made our own decisions. We ordered the "Determination" and the "Bonfire," hoping for something special. It wasn't until after we placed the order that the cashier said, "Good choice, those are our most popular drinks." A little enthusiasm or guidance before we ordered would have gone a long way.The wait for our drinks was another letdown. We stood there for about 20 minutes while watching the staff in the back laughing, skipping around, and seemingly having a good time with each other. Meanwhile, we stood awkwardly at the counter, waiting for what felt like forever. When the drinks finally arrived, they were underwhelming, to say the least. Both were bitter and left an unpleasant taste in our mouths. We couldn't tell if it was the coffee, the milk, or some other ingredient, but neither drink was enjoyable.By the time we got back to our car, we didn't even consider returning to have the drinks remade. We were so disheartened by the entire experience that we just wanted to move on.The trip wasn't worth it, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. At least now I can say I've been to Requiem, but that's the only silver lining. If they spent half as much effort on customer service and drink quality as they do on the ambiance, this place could have been a gem. Instead, it was a frustrating and forgettable experience that left a bitter taste--both literally and figuratively.

I have been going to requiem for over a year now. what started as a fun visit with friends turned a weekly event! i love going to karaoke night and enjoy when they have special collab events as well. As a Queer person its amazing to have a space where I feel safe and supported. The service here is great they really take the time to consider your needs. I have celiacs so often I can only eat certain things but they do really well to make sure the items I do order stay gluten free. I've grown to love this community and in turn they have grown to love me if I don't show up to my weekly karaoke event people ask me where I was. I highly consider going and try to recommend it whenever I can as I really love this place

This is the coolest fantasy themed cafe I have been to! It's in the Promenade area. Public parking and street parking nearby. The interior is amazing! They sell all different drinks, sweets and some savory items as well. They do sell onigiri but would be nice to add more protein choices. They also have a shop with cute items to sell but also a gaming area on PC and tabletop.

We love a themed coffee shop! After seeing Requiem so much on TikTok and instagram, I'm glad I was finally able to check it out during my recent trip to Anaheim. First off, theme and decor - top notch! Everything is beautifully decorated (and sometimes a little random). You'll be transported to a Fantasy land for sure. The decor is also really functional. There's lots of seating and big tables if you plan to stay awhile. They've also got video games playing on the big screen projector and a separate game shop/board game type of area. Seems like a fun place to gather for a game night. For drinks, they've got coffee, lemonades, and teas. They've also got some snacks like waffles and desserts/pastries if you want to eat. I ordered the bananya brûlée (~$7) which was a banana brown sugar latte. It is SWEET! Like, really sweet. At least for me, a person who typically chooses "less sweet" at boba shops. My husband liked it a lot though!Service is pretty good - you order at the front register and they call your name when your drink is ready. I went on a Monday afternoon before dinner so it wasn't so busy and I got my drink pretty quickly.Worth a stop to check out the space! Will def try a lemonade next time.

REQUIEM COFFEE TEA AND FANTASY is great for what it is. It is not a "coffee" place in that it is a third wave coffee shop. It's also not a "tea" place in that it is a tea house brewing from a selection of loose leaf tea.It is a fantasy shop offering sweet coffee and tea drinks and you and your friends can hang out in this awesome space where we could pretend we're in another world. Very cool. They also have couches and several TVs.They also offer a good selection of finger foods. The workers were really nice and patient with us while we gawked at the scenery.
