Jiro Style Ramen, regular size bowls. Top has spicy oil requested 2.29.24
Spicy Chicken Karaage - Not good! Chili flakes bring a low burning heat, slight smokiness in flavor, but that is all you can taste.

Location /Located in a plaza where there's plenty of parking. Restaurants itself is cozy and has nice Japanese decor. Service /Awesome! You order through a paper that you check off and circle - makes it really easy. Food /Hands down one of the best ramen spots in YORBA LINDA. I don't live too close but I would make a drive! Everything is made to order. Ramen broth has a strong umami flavor, chashu was thinly sliced and tender that melts in your mouth, seasoned egg was jammy just the way I love it, noodles had a great chew, and among the other toppings was a great addition. They have a house special garlic topping (that's on the dining table) and I highly recommend adding it to your ramen! Makes it 10x better if you're a garlic girly like me heheh. Chicken curry was also great! Big chunks of chicken karaage and plenty of curry sauce that pairs well with the hot jasmine rice! I would recommend anyone in the area to try this place out! Very authentic Japanese food taste!

Decided to try this ramen place since it's near the Tokyo central. Came on a day of limited menu and only jiro ramen was available. Noodle itself was nice and chewy. The rest were somewhat underwhelming. First of all, there were just too much ingredients in the bowl of ramen. Felt very heavy. The added garlic was a whole lot of it, got heartburn afterwards. Flavor of soup was lacking, mainly felt like just an oily based soup. Pork was way too thick, though tender. Also tried miso ramen. Soup was a bit funky, almost a little bit of bitter taste to it. One bright spot was the chicken karrage was nicely fried. Overall this was not what I had expected. Nice location though, glad it's in the neighborhood. But just didn't hit the spot for me.

The small open kitchen restaurant is a cozy gem that delivers a great dining experience. Since I was dining alone, they seated me at the ramen bar. The service was quick and efficient. You write down your order on a little piece of paper they provide. The ordering process was simple and to the point. For my appetizer, I got the chicken karage, it was excellent. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. It paired really well together with the mayo. Definitely a winner. For my main, I had the chicken paitan ramen with flavorful egg, and it was just what I needed. The broth was light yet flavorful, the noodles were perfectly bouncy, and the egg was creamy. My only tiny gripe: the egg was a bit cold in the center, but it's nothing a quick ramen dunk wouldn't fix!Overall, this place nails the combo of good food, fast service, and relaxed vibe. If you're into ramen, this spot is definitely worth slurping your way for a visit.

This is our favorite ramen in YL. People filled up fast after opening on a Sunday evening. We were greeted by staff and were seated immediately. Ramen orders are directed to be ordered on the paper so you can add toppings, pick your broth, and choose extras. We loved the ramen! The noodles were perfect, broth was rich in flavor, and the chicken is SO moist. My friend got the large curry w/ chicken and it was very generously portioned.

Cute spot and cool history facts on their wall! Straight forward service, average speed with food coming out. If you ask for extra veggies, the veggies are just bean sprouts. There is a lot of flavor in the broth and the chicken is super tender! I was impressed! Only thing is the broth was too salty for me. Boyfriend thought the saltiness was perfect. We came on a Monday and they only had miso ramen left. If you go on another day, there will be more options to choose from. :)

This place is legit and would argue that it's comparable to ramen we've had in Japan. My husband and I have been here twice now in one week, first time to try their tsukemen and second time to try their jiro ramen. My husband loved the tsukemen and noted the yuzu peels were a sophisticated and welcomed addition to the thick tsukemen broth. I personally loved the jiro ramen. Hands down the best ramen I've ever eaten in SoCal. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the blend of flavors took me right back to when we enjoyed bowls of ramen in Tokyo. I love how you can customize this ramen with as much bean sprouts as you want, and the bean sprouts soaked up all the delicious broth once served. Overall, highly recommend this shop. We'll definitely be back to try their other ramen and repeat our above orders. Seating is limited, and I hope that they do well enough to lease out a bigger space. There's maybe one or two tables that they can combine to accommodate more than 4 individuals, but the rest is either bar seating, tables or booths of 2 or 4. *Side note, on the wall, they have more details on the chef's background. It was cool to find out that he was an apprentice to a very well known ramen chef in Japan who invented tsukemen and was known as the "God of Ramen". Incredible background and it's a testament to why the ramen here is so good.

The delicious aroma hits you as soon as you walk in! The servers were very nice and explained the menu to us. It was a pretty simple menu - I believe their main ramen broth is chicken based. I had never tried a chicken based ramen before and it was really good. The pork pieces were super tender and melted in my mouth which was amazing!!! The portion sizes were fair for the prices and we all were very happy with our meals. Only issue was I did not have space to try the appetizers - but I plan to go again to try the apps and the curry! Yum!

Delicious chicken ramen! I was hesitant at first as I usually like a tonkotsu but this was delicious! The service was attentive and the food was tasty. I would definitely come back for some Yorba Linda ramen. The chicken was also yummy but I think I'd prefer the non spicy. I would also recommend the gyoza!! Yummy

Did you know that chef Akimoto began his career at Minami Ikebukuro Taishoken in Tokyo under Kazuyo Yamagishi also known as the "God of Ramen"? I was recommended to try this place out by a friend who said the tsukemen was just as good as the ones he had while he was in Japan. Hearing that I just had to make the trip out from OC to find out. They are located in a big plaza with plenty of parking spots, and the interior of the restaurant has ample room for dine in. They offer many different noodle dishes like Ramen, Tsukemen and Maze Soba. Today I really wanted to sample their karaage and tsukemen. I ordered their regular Tsukemen which was about $15, you can add additional chasu and toppings for extra charge. I thought the texture of the noodles and flavor of the broth was excellent, it had a strong flavor for being a chicken broth with a touch of yuzu which I really liked. The Karaage was also excellent, its crunchy and juicy and if you order the spicy version its even better as it comes with a kick.I do want to come back soon to try out their Ramen and Mazemen.
