Rakuten Ramen

My daughter's favorite ramen place. This is our go to ramen place in our area coz of the selection. We love the tonkotsu and miso ramen and love that the chashu melts in your mouth. We went for lunch and they have a lunch special with ramen, gyoza and salad. Very affordable - probably coz lots of college students in the area. Also... they have a drive thru!Try them out when you are near Azusa!

No this is not the e-commerce website turned ramen shop.It's just ramen and get this, Japanese Pita wraps!With their thick cut, toothsome ramen and warm comforting tonkotsu broth, you'll love Rakuten Ramen!For my introverts out there, they are a QR code to order establishment so there no need for human interaction other than with the group you're with!Ambiance is chill and laid back sitting right between a McDonald's and PopEye's.With stiff competition like that, you best believe Rakuten Ramen gotta be solid!

This review does not reflect service or food qualityI noticed the B rating when I entered this business and was curious about its issues. Working in a kitchen before, I am familiar with health inspection and what's required to keep customers safe. Reading the violations, I'm surprised they got a B rating. Last inspection was in November and they had a B rating prior to that and still did not fix issues. You can find them here on Yelp and I will provide a screenshot of the violations. I refused to eat at this establish and went elsewhere. I encourage everyone to read up before considering this place.

Small little ramen restaurant that is in Azusa. I had the veggie ramen which was good. My husband and daughter had a create your own ramen which they loved. Surprisedly, they also have a drive thru.

Decided to try this place out tonight. Went thru the drive thru and it took forever. Ordered the Rakuten 88 level 3 spicy, it was decent. Nothing to brag about but average. Also ordered the seaweed salad and it was trash, the dressing was disgusting and barely had any seaweed. Also ordered the edamame and the garlic sauce the season it with was too much. Garlic was too overwhelming to even eat any. Only give a 3 star because the ramen was decent. Probably will never come back tho

Food, service and ambiance are all great!!! The lunch special (11:00-3:00 pm) is a great deal for the money, only $14.95!!! It comes with a lot of food and hot green tea!!!! We were hooked on this place and have become "regulars!!!". Check it out!!!

This place runs a bit like a fast food restaurant. There is good amount of sitting place for table service and the ramen is actually pretty good, however, the ambiance doesn't quite fit well for a ramen restaurant. There are TV displaying shows with no sound, the place smells a bit musty and there are some bugs playing around inside. The value of the ramen is fair for today's standard but the food is not too impressive.

This is my second time eating here! highly recommend if you're in the area, my favorite is the tonkotsu miso shoyu ramen. Staff is very friendly!

I haven't had ramen in the longest time so this is my go to for some comfort.Service was great Beef ramen was delicious and new on the menu! My simple eaten spicy level 3 was a bit spicy but still good to eat.Great flavor brothIf you write a Yelp review and show them, you'll get a fountain drink or sweet tea. (Get the sweet tea! It's so good!) If you don't want to dine in, you can do drive thru too!
