Quan Gio Bar & Grill

A small Vietnamese bar/restaurant where mostly young guys hang out, eat snacks, drink, smoke inside, watch sports, loud rock music. These guys are loud, noisy, carousing and annoying, smoking cigarettes non stop in a small space.Half a dozen fairly hot hostesses will sit, drink, eat and chat with you, help you drink your beers quickly like real GFs.We ordered big pitchers of Sapporo draft, about 6 glasses each, costed $48 each, kind of steep. They also sell various Cognacs and Whiskeys for 3 x store prices. Cork fee is $50. It's a typical expensive Vietnamese hostess bar/restaurant. Went there for dinner with a couple business associates. They ordered Vietnamese snacks to drink with, grilled goat meat, steam goat meat with lemon grass, pig knuckles, raw goat and duck blood puddings, typical drinking dishes in Vietnam. We rolled the meats in a spinach leaf with red pepper and spicy herbs and dip it in a fermented shrimp sauce. The food was tasty and spicy, goes well with beers and liquors, totaled about $150 for food and $200 for beers for 4. That night I had a bad case of diarrhea lasted 2 days. Must be bacteria in the goat or duck blood puddings or spoiled goat meats. Had only 1 other food poisoning in a Chinese buffet in Anaheim for the last 40 years, most likely spoiled raw oyster.This place also has a small stage with sound equipment in the corner where guys can belch out their songs after drinking. Their singing is usually terrible, the noise is high, better to avoid.This is just a cheesy, low brow but expensive drinking place for a bunch of loud and annoying guys who think they can impress the hostesses. And the hostesses expect big tips for their companies.It's not a place for polite people to have dinner or drinks.

Great Food, drinks and service. Friendly atmosphere. Several TV's to what the sports on. I'm looking forward to going back.

For Vietnamese bar type food, look no further. This place is great! Reasonable prices, great selection, and I think just about everything on the menu is delicious. I've made two trips out here from Vegas now just to eat here. The coconut snails are probably my favorite, and I use the sauce to dip just about everything in because it's so good. I always get the razor clams because they are amazing. The blood clams aren't bad either, but if I had to pick between them and the razors... Definitely the razors. I used to get the conch meat salad, but this time I tried the banana blossom and clam salad, and it's out of this world. Fried crocodile was alright, and worth trying. Think of fried chicken mixed with fried catfish. The roasted quails are very good as is the crispy rice(especially dipped in the coconut snail soup.. I know that's not the way to eat it, but try it out!) The fried grudgeon fish was ok, a little oily and I was hoping it was going to be like shishamo but it wasn't. The larger grilled snails weren't bad, but the coconut snails were more flavorful. The tamarind balut is kinda hit and miss, the first time I ordered it, it was great. This time, they had a weird flavor and tons of feathers. I guess it's hard to gauge how developed they are. Service is decent. Sometimes you might have to point at menu pictures to order if you don't speak Vietnamese, and I don't. The music is a bit loud and they play electronic dance music which I guess is the norm for these kinda places. Like most Asian places in this area... The bathrooms are gross. But hey, the food is great and worth trying. I know I have on multiple occasions made the 300 mile trek to go on a food binge in the OC and this is one of the mandatory stops.

I love this place so much ....literally anything on the menu you order came out super good !I always tried to come early around 6 or 7 before the crown get in and it can get super busy because they have live music too Good spot to hang out eat and drink with friends family !

I absolutely do not regret trying out this vietnamese spot. Came here on a saturday and it was sooo much fun! Got to watch people share their vocal talents :) The ambience is comparable to your typical bar, the servers are attentive even though it's packed & the food is phenomenal!

Fun place to come with friends. There is live entertainment and karaoke. The food is pretty good here. If you want beer for cheap, you can get a bucket here. Come here during happy hour, and you'll get a lot of discounts, I come here during lunch, and they give me so much stuff for a discounted price.

Waste my time! Told me the order would be ready in 15mins I arrived 20mins later walked in to pay just to realize that's when they started making my order. And I waited another 15mins for overpriced mediocre tasting food. This place is like a place you come and get fcked up not a place to sit and eat

Come here for the food! Great place for small plates and sharing! Must try are the crispy rice, chicken wings, and clams. Next time I'll have to try more! Keep in mind it's a Vietnamese bar with karaoke so things can get pretty interesting. They also have lots of tvs with sports games so if you're looking for a place to watch a game with good food and alcohol - this is it!

No face mask, no gloves to be seen on any of the servers. Tables were not set 6 feet apart.

They've fixed the stinky bathroom problem. Fun place to hangout. Much better than the last time i went 3 years ago.
