Q J Kitchen is at the corner of El Toro & Rockfield, across the street from Home Depot, around the corner of Island Pacific Seafood. It's easy to miss as it is not visible from the main parking lot, but on the side of Rockfield. Its tables are arranged in the open space, so they may be combined to accommodate large parties.I ordered the twice cooked pork today, a popular dish of the Sichuan cuisine. Its flavor and presentation is very much what I expected of an authentic Sichuan preparation. I would prefer it to be a little more spicy but still very satisfying. Its service is decent. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars but round it up because it's new and a family business. It's my plan to come back with more friends so we can try more dishes.

Toilet is little bit better than average Chinese restaurant. Provide both paper towel and hand dryer. What is interesting is that each corner has cleaning solution. Owner might be into cleaning the toilet. You can also see that there are extra toilet paper and paper towel in the photo. I like this owner. My favorite is the mapo tofu and the pepper chicken. Definitely is the authentic num num mouth feeling. Would come back back again with family.Toilet: 4/5 feel safe to poop because good lighting and extra toilet paperFood: 4/5

Food**// I rarely give 2 stars but tbh their fried rice was subpar... I heard them discussed in the kitchen and the cook was just like "oh the rice is just what it is" this to me is a big no to serve some soft mushy stuff to customer.Service**// service was ok, I was expecting lunch special and the lady was offering it. Then later on she came over and say it can only be done if order in bulk like 10Ambiance***// reg Chinese restaurant you will find. Feels new but you will see some details like restroom kind of lack frequent check ups

Hmm. What to say. Their website says they open at 11:30, coworkers and I arrived around 11:45 and all the lights were off. Including their "open" sign. We checked to see if they were open, and the door was open - after confirming they were in fact open, we decided to give them a try. The food was okay, but there were many, many red flags: - The lights remained off until about half an hour after we were seated. Keep in mind there were 2 other parties sitting inside too. - There was no heater turned on, everyone was freezing at our table - We asked them to refill our tea 3 times before we finally gave up - Their twice cooked pork had a taste that made it feel like it wasn't fresh - They served us day old rice. There were noticeable rice "blocks" if you will, that signaled it wasn't fresh rice - They rung us up incorrectly. We ordered their lunch special with an extra order of Stir Fry Spicy Chicken. They rang us up for lunch special + many, many orders of their stir fried potato strips. - When we complained about the day old rice, the server was very adamant about the restaurant serving only fresh rice daily Our favorite dish was their Mapo Tofu. It was def more on the spicy, numbing side and not too salty. But, judging by the service we got ... I don't think that 1 dish is enough for me to want to go back.

The food was absolutely delicious, with just the right level of mala--not too overpowering but still flavorful. The standout dish of the day was the fish with pickled cabbage, which was perfectly balanced and full of depth. The tomato and egg scramble was comforting and nostalgic, bringing back fond memories. The prices are reasonable, making it even more worth it. I'll definitely be coming back!

This Sichuan restaurant just open for two months, the lady said they are from Chengdu, the taste is really authentic. And they prepared a small gift. Nice people and delicious food, glad we found this new restaurant and we will come again.

Newer restaurant, the place is really clean and nice. The service is great, very tentative. The price is reasonable. The taste is flavorful but on the saltier side..we liked it and had a lot of steam rice to balance it. The maps tofu, the squid and the braised beef with potato are all very tasty. As they just opened recently, they gave cute key chains as parting gift. We recommend this place and will come again!

the restaurant location is easy to find. We ordered to-go and the stir-fried spicy chicken tastes good.
