First time visiting in 16 years. Plenty of competition around and a backwards drive through (everything in and out the passenger door). Staff was friendly. You do have to drive up to the window to order as there is no drive through box. It is a bit on the slower side but worth it, food was tasty. The tacos were ginormous! Fully loaded it comes with refried beans at the bottom. Love the large fresh tomato in it and it was a very filling option. I also picked up some bean and cheese burritos. Again the portions were very much on the large side. After waiting so long I'll be back soon

Been Eating here on and off for twenty years. My go to lunch is an asada sopa. The corn masa speared with refried beans creates the perfect bed for the hot/cold components. Don't let the modest location keep you from enjoying some of best mexican food Southern California has to offer. Chef's kiss Don't forget the salsa.

Whenever we can't decide on dinner, Q Tortas is one of our go-to's because it just hits the spot every time. Their chicken flautas (basically taquitos) are amazing and come topped with crema, green sauce and shredded lettuce. Another favorite is their hard shell carnitas tacos which comes filled with refried beans on the bottom, meat, lettuce, sharp cheddar cheese & sour cream. If you're in the mood to split a meal, go for the carnitas nachos...you will not be disappointed!

Was referred here by a local Golf bro we got paired up with while playing Fullerton Golf course. He swore their tacos de Chicharron were legit.Man it was totally worth the stop. I got a Taco de Chicharron so yummy. Also had a Torta de Carnitas, gotta say ill def be back for those 2 things. They use a different type of bread for their Tortas. Its smaller, softer and makes a difference. So good. Place is small, looks like its been in the community fir a while, we just found it by coincidence but so glad we did.

Authentic and iconic! If you want a real taste of Mexican food and a small location to eat and enjoy, then you found it. My wife grew up eating here and even after 13 years away it is still excellent! The carnitas tacos with pico is the way to go. Get chips and the red salsa but be ready for a bit of heat and a drippy nose! The beans are also very good. You can't go wrong so order up!

This spot is the only (technically) Mex fast food spot in old town p town. Wts, their prices can creep up quick on certain orders, so watch yourself with the add ons and sides. I left there with easily a $40 bill for 2 people who aren't gorging themselves is a little steep. However, The food and service is always consistently good bordering on great!

This place was a massive disappointment. Ordered an all-meat carne asada burrito and what I got was full of so much pico de Gallo and refried beans that it was waterlogged. I took a bite and the other end of the burrito burst like a water balloon! What little meat was there was tough and mealy. Avoid unless you want donkey meat.

I was introduced to this small wonder of Mexican food over 25 years ago. This place has been a family tradition and favorite. My go to is torta de carnitas . The meat has always been seasoned with plenty care , soft and tender, the sauce- pico de gallo is the icing on top. I travel to get to this place.... I recommend the tacos de chicharon, if you know how this should taste, well .... form your opinion. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Looks do deceive. Flautas plate looked really good, but Flautas did not seem freshly made. Tortilla was hard to chew. Chicken was dry and had no flavor. Even with allthe sauce on top and Pico de gallo and hot sauce. So disappointed.
