I made a reservation a couple weeks in advance for my sister's 30th Birthday. None of us had ever been there and we've all been wanting to try it. We did self parking at the parking structure behind the Westin Hotel (2 hrs free with validation). We made our way over to the restaurant and they sat us within a couple minutes. I think since I made a reservation we were given a nice booth (which my sister loved since it was somewhat secluded). Our server was Maria and she was amazing! She took our drink orders (Paloma, Passionfruit Mule, & Frozen Horchata with Straus Organic Cream with Tequila) and started us with chips, salsa & chicharrones. She came back to take the rest of our food order:1. My sister ordered the Chicken Mole Enchilada with a side of Esquite. 2. I ordered the short rib birria plate.3. My boyfriend ordered the steak plate. Both our plates came which came with blue corn tortillas, herb lime rice and black beans. We all agreed our food was hot, fresh & flavorful! 10/10 Recommend! As we were waiting for our bill, Maria came back to surprise my sister with Chocoflan and a candle so we could sing Happy Birthday. She went out of her way to make sure we all had a good time. Thank you so much for the hospitality! Would definitely be coming back!

I took my mom here for lunch because she wanted Mexican food. The ambiance is sort of industrial tequila bar. We were seated pretty quick and we enjoyed the chips and salsa. We both ordered tacos. First off, the good. The shrimp taco was absolutely delicious. Really well cooked and seasoned. Would order three of these next time. The carnitas were ok. Mom said, too salty. It tasted ok to me. But the short rib....no way, WAY too salty. I took one bite and sent it back. Now we had also ordered guacamole but they never brought it. The waiter was very nice...he brought us some guac on the house. He also took the short rib taco off. He was good. Very friendly and responsive. I almost NEVER send food back. And it sounded like it would be so good too. Moral of the story, stick with the shrimp!

I've been here on two occasions: once for lunch and another for dinner. Both visits had excellent service and the food quality was consistent throughout. The inside decor is astonishing; bottles of special liquor throughout and romantic lighting. You could dress casually or dress up. The food prices could easily pile up, so be prepared to spend a pretty penny if you plan on doing a 3-course meal for a big group. Aside from that, make sure to get a house agua fresca, as well as the enchiladas suizas and tres leches cake!

Service was sketchy The bartender was overwhelmed and not trained enough to handle a crowd. The drinks were goodThe food was too trendy.I had the tacos. Carnitas. Steak. Fish. The Steak and Carnitas tasted the same. Sauce was bland. The Fish Taco was the best.If you want a Traditional Experience do not go.

The potato taquitos are AMAZING! Get them; thank me later. They are my favorite! The burritos are also good. My husband got a burrito and it was pretty big. He said it tasted so good! He wouldn't stop talking about the burrito being 11/10 lol Yes eleven lol The enchilada suizas is a hit- always. That guacamole tho!!!!!! It's so fresh and the flavors are just right! 10/10 LOVE the guacamole Service was good. I got the condiments, and utensils. Everything was nicely labeled with who ordered what. Ambiance, I ordered for delivery. So, I can't report on the dine-in experience.

Thank you so much, Nicolina, Dylan, Jazz and Heber! Nicolina went above and beyond to make the experience so enjoyable! Dylan and Jazz are also kind! Puesto Anaheim never fails to go beyond my expectations! The only plausible downside would be parking. They do validate for 2 hours when you dine in (bring your ticket and ask nicely in the front) My favorite has to be their tacos especially on taco Tuesday! The filet mignon was delicious and their guacamole is unmatched. Also, their speciality drinks truly set the bar. The ambiance is beautiful and dimly lit, luckily, you are still able to see your food for consumption. Not too far from Disneyland and major Anaheim areas. Definitely recommend visiting with your loved ones for an enjoyable meal!

Great location near Disneyland and Anaheim Convention Center. I've been to a few different Puestos and this one wasn't as good as others I've been to. It is really pretty inside. The guacamole was a bit on the salty side. The ceviche was great. We upgraded our salsa and they gave us 4 additional ones to try. We liked 2 of the 4. The drinks are solid. Can't go wrong with margaritas! We sat at the bar and it was what you expect in terms of service.

Puesto is located next to Flemings and is attached to the Westin resort across the street from Disneyland California Adventure. Parking is in the multi-level garage behind the Westin. Instead of walking all the way around the front of the building, pass the Westin pool and turn right to walk down the little driveway which will get you close to the entrance. The restaurant will validate parking for two hours so be sure to bring your parking slip. Don't forget it because otherwise you will pay $14 per hour with no partial hours to exit the parking garage.I made a 1pm weekday lunch reservation on OpenTable and it wasn't too busy when we arrived but it gradually got more busy as the afternoon went on. When you first walk in, you will see the bar which is very impressive looking with shelf after shelf of liquor. The restaurant is mostly tables, but there are three booths located right next to the kitchen where you can watch food being prepared. There are also some small booths along the backside of the bar. There are a few high top tables on an outside patio near the front entrance.Chips are not complementary but for $4 you get a very large basket of chips which have a somewhat strong (good) corn flavor with their house salsa. For $2, the chef's salsa bar is a no-brainer and comes with four generous portions of their different salsas which were all very good. We had had plenty of chips and salsa to take home. Neither of us can drink right now so we decided to get some mocktail margaritas for fun. They had good flavor but for a lot of ice and a pretty small non-alcoholic drink, it is overpriced at $14. My girlfriend had the potato taquitos appetizer for her entree which had a fun presentation and she loved them. I had the steak plate which was excellent. The steak, peppers, and onions are served in a cast iron skillet along with a sliced up avocado and salsa on the plate. It comes with three blue corn tortillas, each of which has melted cheese on one side. The melted cheese on those tortillas really made the steak tacos more enjoyable than I anticipated. The rice was good and had a nice light lime flavor and I passed on the beans. Our main server Brenda and the other servers who visited our table were all great. When the restaurant fills up, it is a little noisy but not too noisy by any means. There is modern Mexican music playing in the background and the vibe is good. The food was great but its definitely a little on the pricey side.
