The prime rib here is excellent! There are 2 sizes 8 and 12 ounces. I got the 8 ounces with garlic mashed potatoes. My niece got the filet minion and shrimp. Then for desert we ordered the carrot cake which amazing. It was so moist with raisins, nuts and the cream cheese frosting was good. It's easy to make reservations on yelp

I always enjoy this restaurant. It can be quiet enough you can hear your friends. Food is good as is service. I tried steak Diane for the first time. I really enjoyed it. You can bring wine and there is no corkage for the first bottle. The sea bass special was excellent too.

Prime Cut Cafe is wonderful! The service is awesome, we were greeted warmly and although there were no tables available we were quickly sat at the bar. The bartender was so great and fast, it was a very busy night and he was still very attentive and friendly. The interior is upscale without being stuffy, and very comfortable. The food was fantastic! Those tacos are SO good I'd get them again and again. The burgers were also soooo good, they do great with flavors. We also had the bread with butter to start which was a great way to start the meal, warm bread with perfectly whipped butter. This place rocks and we can't wait to go back!

This place was delightful. I seen the reviews and couldn't wait to try it! I was right! The food here was fantastic and the service was great.I made a reservation a couple days prior and I am so happy I did. We were sat right away, and I noticed there were people waiting to be seated. They do not give bread and butter. We did order it, but I was so happy we did. The bread was soft. The 11 spice Chicken had a lot of spice and flavor. I liked that it was a sweet and light spice. It was almost like a curry taste. It tasted really good with the mash potatoes. I am so glad they did not serve it with rice. The prime rib that they serve is very tasty and has good flavor. They only serve it after a certain time of the day and until they sell out. So it's best to go at the beginning of dinner.It was soft and melted in your mouth. We ordered it with the au gratin potatoes. This is right near the Ducks Stadium so it gets really busy on nights that they play. So be mindful and head there a little earlier than your reservation time. I could not rave about this place enough. I can't wait to go back when I visit.

Our first time having dinner at Prime Cut was fantastic, and now we need to add this to our dining rotation. Everything was so delicious. The service was wonderful. Davey, the bartender, was so helpful and friendly. The ambiance is classy but not formal. I especially loved the cheeseburger, French dip, and creamed spinach. I'd order those items again. The mashed potatoes were also good, but I'd like to try a different side next time. The wedge salad was also very tasty. The French dip and burger were both so juicy. It made up for some dry ones we had a week earlier at a different restaurant. I loved the bar top area and can't wait to go back.

This place never seems to fail. We do not live in Orange but like that it's convenient to eat here and watch a movie afterwards. Prime cut has survived being here for a reason as we have noticed many places open and close around this restaurant. The place is like a fine dining with a low key vibe. After appetizer, entree, tax and tip, you pay about $50 pp! That's a deal! 1. Start off with the cheese fondue and don't be a fruit smear one of those cooked garlic cloves on top of your bread. It's a game changer. 2. We ordered the burger, prime rib, hanger steak and chicken in a wine mushroom wine sauce. It was all really good! I would like to say thank you to the server that served us tonight. It was my daughter's 16th birthday and she offered a free dessert and brought with a candle. That meant so much as we did not expect that. I hate that I forgot my servers name as they do not have name tags and have a bad memory: she was a super nice Asian server. Great service! Will always come here when we are nearby

Great service and good food. Prices about average. Easy parking. Also has outdoor seating.

We went for the OC Restaurant week menu. It was a very enjoyable experience. The lamb shank and steak Diane were very tasty and did not disappoint. Our server Davey was very helpful and attentive. He guided us through the special menu combinations. We also enjoyed the Brussels sprouts appetizer, good to the last sprout. All in all the food was great and we look forward to having another good meal at our next visit. Also, Kimberly the manager and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Well worth a trek for a hearty meal.

My husband and I were excited to celebrate our 51st anniversary and Valentine's Day at Prime Cut, hoping for a really special night. We've always felt comfortable there, receiving top-notch service, but this time was completely different. Maybe we were a bit more sensitive with everything going on in the world, but we've never felt so disrespected.We sat at the bar and were served by Casey. The couple next to us received amazing service--he was extremely attentive to every need they had--while we had to keep calling for his attention. He mostly ignored us, and when he finally did come over, he looked annoyed. We tried to brush it off, thinking we might be imagining things, but it only got worse.I ordered a glass of water, and Casey brought me a child's plastic cup with water, saying they were out of glasses--then he quickly turned around and handed two proper glasses to the couple across from us. It felt petty, insulting, and like we were being singled out.Feeling totally disrespected and uncomfortable, we asked for the bill. Casey rushed us out and even slammed our credit cards on the bar, almost throwing them at us. It was a harsh, hurtful display of disregard.We left the restaurant deeply hurt and disappointed. Later at home, I kept thinking about that plastic cup of water and even worried he might have tampered with it, putting my health at risk. It made us wonder if his attitude was actually because of a bias against Latin people, which just made the whole experience even more painful.We urge Prime Cut to re-evaluate their hiring practices and ensure that their staff can work in a diverse environment.
