Pollo Inka Express

Pollo Inka Express is my go-to spot for delicious Peruvian food, and I can't recommend it enough! Located conveniently across from a casino and near the Long Beach Town Center, it's an easy stop whether you're running errands, catching a movie or hitting the casino for a little fun. Plus, they've been serving up tasty meals since 2010, so you know they've got it down.One of the best things about this place is how it combines fast food convenience with the flavors of authentic Peruvian cuisine. Not only is there a drive-thru (which is rare for Peruvian spots), but they also have a ton of menu options--perfect for anyone, no matter their taste.Some of my personal favorites include the Lomo Saltado, which is always flavorful, and the Vainitas entree (I usually go with chicken or just veggies). These come with white rice, a delicious chicken cilantro soup, and a side of their spicy Aji hot sauce. Don't miss their fried yucca and seasoned fries, which have this great seasoning that reminds me of Red Robin's fries (in the best way). Their Pollo a la Brasa is another great choice--tender and perfectly seasoned, and I love how I can get 2-3 meals out of one entree.They've also got delivery through UberEats, GrubHub, and DoorDash, so you can enjoy their tasty dishes from the comfort of home. Whether you dine in, grab it to-go, or have it delivered, Pollo Inka Express is always a winner.Highly recommend if you're craving Peruvian food that's both fast and full of flavor!

I wasn't sure if this was going to be a fair quality food place due to it being a "fast" casual spot. Got the Soltado's lomo and saltado de mariscos. Highly recommend both as flavors were on point and very similar to what I had in Lima, Peru. I think the next time I drop by I will definitely try another Peruvian staple: tallarines verde. Got the Lomo Saltado and thought that the price was good for the value. The lomo had some of the most tender meat I've ever had for this dish and tasted great! The only downsides were that it was quite greasy and the aji verde wasn't that spicy.

Looking for something simple and yummy ! Well Pollo Inka is the spot they have very delicious plates my go to plate is the Chaufa de pollo ! Fried Rice with chicken and a side of chicken soup ! Omg delicious! This is my favorite spot the service is great the crew is always very nice ! I usually go on a sunday around 12 and it's always a empty and peaceful. Don't forget the dessert "Alfajores" must try !

Man oh man..I've never had Peruvian food before and this was nothing short but excellent! The shrimp was nice and plump, rice was fluffy, and we were surprised they gave us soup with our orders. So good! Everything was piping hot and fresh. The portions were nice and large too. The workers here are also cheery and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place if you want to try something new. Good stuff!

Incredible value for the Pollo Inka special plate. I think it's called Combo Inka. It came with chicken, rice, beans (the best), salad, soup, sauce, and a can of cola. It wasn't too expensive and the people working were nice and got us through the drive thru quickly.

I absolutely love this location Every-time we go in it's busy and everyone is very friendly Food is always delicious and they give good portions are not stingy with the salsa Soup is always perfect and flavorful I'm never disappointed I recommend this location to everyone

Pollo Inka has been a family favorite for dinner for the longest time. My family loves Peruvian food and Pollo inka Express has been an amazing and fast spot to go pick up some delicious Peruvian delights. The way their chicken is marinated and cooked is mouth watering. Your Costco rotisserie chicken has nothing on Pollo Inkas! It pairs perfectly with their Aji green salsa which is a thick, green, delicious garlic based sauce. All of their sides are so delicious, we always get yucca frita, plantains, rice and beans. Not to mention their delicious green cilantro soup!!? Wash this all down with an Inca Kola --food coma, off to heaven shortly after. To me, Inca Kola tastes like bubblegum. I recommend trying it at least once. It's the 2 liter of bright yellow soda and you can find it here or at any latino supermarket. If you like sweets, you have to try their alfajores (little Peruvian caramel cookies) They're so soft and the best I've ever tried. I recently bought my mom some from this expensive place and they were so tiny and not as good as Pollo inkas!!!! Don't skip on these. Trust me. We will never stop craving Pollo inka and I will always highly recommend this location to anyone that's hungry and wants to try something different, with a short wait time and amazing service. Did I mention they have a drive thru??? This place is simply awesome!

Food still tastes decent years later (not the best Peruvian food in town however), but I will say the price has gone up considerably AND the portions are less. Nothing worse than a double-whammy. For $50, weeks got a whole chicken with some sides plus a lomo saltado plate. Considering this is border-line fast food, I am sad to know it's not worth it as much to come here as it was before. The green sauce will forever hold a place in my heart though, lol.
