Consistently the best broasted chicken anywhere! Juicy inside and crispy outside. Why do you need to eat fried chicken when you can have it broasted? Service is very nice and quick.

We haven't been there in years. We were close, so we decided to stop in and try it again. The owners that we remembered were no longer there. We were disappointed, but we were there and we were hungry. The lady seemed nice that took our order. The chicken was tasty and had nice flavor. We both had original and all white meat. Then we got to the potatoes....Meh. We both didn't like them. We could have mashed them and eat them that way. They weren't cooked all the way. He got macaroni salad and I got coleslaw... we ate it because we were hungry. For some reason I got a hockey puck that turned out to be a dinner roll which was not eaten. The place didn't look anything like it used to. We weren't there for the look of the place, just the chicken. Lastly, the smell inside was... breathe through your mouth. It definitely wasn't the same smell that was there before. At least we went and tried it, but unfortunately we will not be back. If we want broasted we will go to Grandma's on Alondra in Bellflower.

What to order: Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the hot wings chicken! With hot sauce on the side so the wings stay crispy. I made a phone order and pick up was a breeze, no wait. The hot sauce is buffalo so that might not be for everyone, but I loved it! This place is definitely a great place to try if you want to support a good local spot.

Fantastic fried chicken. I was afraid that it might have been too spicy, but it wasn't. Had the slightest of kick they had only enhanced the flavor of the chicken. The gumbo was amazing as was the red rice and beans.

This place is a Los Alamitos and SoCal hidden gem. Been going here for years! It's 25 miles out of my way now but I still make the trip at least once a month. Try the lemon chicken it's GODLY. The woman behind the counter gives great service and the ambiance is sweet and nostalgic, a breath of fresh air from franchised food. Give them your money and your business!!!

I've been here before but it's 25 miles away and if traffic is bad, nah, I'll pass. I always prefer supporting the independent mom pop business! This is a tiny mom and pop shop with no interior dining space. There are 4 outdoor round picnic tables with solid sunshades. Frankly the only thing I've tried about 6 times is the chicken. It's pressure cooked/roasted so it's not deep fried. I like to think it's healthier. It's never greasy but the pieces are small. The plate comes with baked sliced potato slices with seasoned salt and a choice of one side. The side comes in a small individual serving size. I get the potato salad which doctored store bought but I like it. The pork and beans are out of a can. But sometimes I like the backyard choices with a bit of this and that. Check their menu out because they offer subs too. The food is prepared to order so if it's lunch time be prepared to wait about 15 minutes. Chicken is not seasoned. Rear parking is limited as is street parking. I wish they'd go to larger pieces and sides. Next door there is a pasties shop aka as dough stuffed with some kind of meat filling. I've only been there once and it was delicious so while you're at the chicken place getting chicken or fish and chips or a sub, you can also try a pastie.

I got the 10 piece for 25 dollars lunch special. A little pricy but worth it. The chicken was so juicy , crispy, and tasty. Would come back here again.

I treat myself every once in a while with a boasted chicken meal. I look forward to the crispy, hot, flavorful crunch of that first bite and was so disappointed with the meal I received from PC & S. Food was not fresh and tasted as if it had been sitting for at least half an hour. Chicken and potatoes were lukewarm and no longer crispy. Only thing hot were the baked beans. Tried this place because I was in the area but should have driven to Huckleberry's where it is always hot, crispy, and made to order.

Chicken was super dry& nearly inedible. Nice spice on skin, but chicken isn't brined or marinated. Meat was tasteless.Potato salad was good, beans were good & bread was good but needed butter. Potatoes were bland & not tasty. Both the potatoes & chicken tasted like old oil that needed changing.Unfortunately I won't be back.

I ordered the 2 piece broasted chicken lunch. Very yummy. I actually like broasted chicken better than fried chicken. Great price & great service!
