Food: Tri-tip, pork and beef was all good, but I gotta say what threw me over the top was that Mac and cheese. Wow, I probably could have eaten a whole tub of that! It was spicy but not too much that it was unbearable. Looks like they make their own BBQ sauce also, both flavors were pretty good. Coleslaw was also unique and very good.Atmosphere: It's a little small inside, take what you can get. But don't bring a super huge party, probably 10 tables total? Service: Waiter was fine, no complaints but seemed a little preoccupied. Again, not a big deal but if you want good tips, you gotta "ham" it up (see what I did there with the pig reference?)...Price: Not bad actually, 3-plate is 28$ and it is very filling. Some of the extras are a bit more expensive than the standard ones, so if I go back I would try a few of those.Overall: I'm not like a HUGE fan of BBQ, so I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur or anything, but I thought it was pretty dang good. A little tight inside, but maybe if enough people eat here they can expand? Good stuff!

My friend decided to go here for his birthday and we were all seriously disappointed, for the most part. The female server has no serving etiquette. She came to ask for our orders only to come back to ask for drink orders. Yes food orders first. Waters were served and 2 beers. All the other drinks were forgotten until we waved her down to remind her. When she put things down she slammed them down while reaching across 1 to 2 people instead of inbetween. She continued this even while cleaning up. The food was ok. Tri tip, pork belly and pulled pork were tasty but the sausage tasted as if it was boiled to the point it was tasteless without any snap. I had the "I want all the meat" sandwich and believe the butter grilled buns ia what saved the sandwich. Tasted the corn and it was Luke warm and almost no taste. Over boiled again? Chili was more of a stew. Finally desert was orordered. Creme Brulee and bread pudding. Bread pudding had something missing because the taste was off and the creme brulee was so tiny I could have finished it in one night. The flavor was off to. Over all the only good things were the all meat sandwich and the beer. Do go if you are looking for meat on their own or service.

You'll find better barbecue elsewhere. I came here because I was a fan of lead bellies the previous owner. They were out of cream corn and I had just got there at noon so that's kind of weird to run out of a popular side item. I had the brisket. It was OK. It was better when it was flavored with their barbecue sauce. My husband had the pulled pork and I've seen better . He says "it was aight". Service locked, took a while to take our drink order. I really wanted to like this place but I didn't taste pride or effort in the food.

Amazing food! Helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Perfectly priced. There's only 8 tables with 4 chairs so when they get busy, it's worth the wait! I will be coming back when I have a craving for barbecue or grilled meats!

Ever since I started working and living in the area I've been on the lookout for decent bbq joints. Somehow though I've never come across Pig n' Pig before. And that's a shame because it turns out there's a tremendous stop for bbq right in my backyard.Not only were the pork ribs well above average, but I found the burnt ends and baked beans some of the best I've had in California. I would definitely call those the standout items on the menu. I think the only lackluster side was the mashed potatoes, but--I mean--how much can you do with potatoes mashed to all hell? If anything I appreciated that it was one item that I could fall back on to get away from the strong presence of the baked beans and burnt ends.I had hoped the ribs were a bit better as that is my favorite bbq staple, especially St. Louis ribs, but it's very hard to compete when I've had some of the best ribs in the country. It still won't stop me from ordering it and--who knows--this may have just been an off day.Again, order the burnt ends and baked beans, because those really rocked my socks off at first bite. They are definitely the two best reasons I'm glad I checked this place out today. Along with the excellent service, I think you have 3 great reasons to come in yourself.

Food: I always come here for one thing only. The dominator fries with pulled pork. Don't forget the blue cheese gravy! I drench this with the spicy bbq sauce as well!Service: I never got the waiter's name. But he always remembers my order every time I come in. It makes it so much easier because I don't need to order anything else.Ambiance: it's a small shop that can seat about 8 tables and bar seating. Ample parking in the lot. These are the best bbq fries I've ever had!

I really wanted to give this place a chance. But As soon as I walked up there was no smoky smell of BBQ, and that's always a first sign that the bbq will be average . You know a fire bbq spot is good if you can smell that smoke from around the corner. The food here was so unseasoned. I really hate that for them and my taste buds. The Greens are awfully cooked and the meat was dry. Mac was mediocre. I was really looking for a place in OC that has really good BBQ, but guess I will have to continue to travel to LA, Long Beach for some BBQ.
