My daughter loves Pho... you can say she's a "PhoNatic!!" We heard good things about this place so we wanted to try it out We were not disappointed!! Food was great!! Sometimes pho can be to salty, or you can tell they used a lot of MSG.. but here, the broth was spectacular. It was hearty, yet smooth and tasty. The meat was soft and good. Some places the meat is chewy, or you just get a lot of fat. Place is clean and large. I also loved their shrimp egg rolls!! Phoung helped us, and knowing it was our first time, she was patient and super accommodating. Overall, a win! Can't wait to come back again

Service was 10/10 for sure!Food wise, pho was good - not bad and not wow pow. It was good ~ The veggie pho can be requested with beef broth and had lots of veggies. Tofu was pan fried of some sorts so that was good. There were four pieces. One regular bowl is about $13.5 and you can make it large for a little more. The regular bowl looks small but it was plenty. As for the other meaty pho, they unfortunately a very small amount of meat :(Place was kid friendly and they had scissors we could use to cut noodles so that is always a plus for parents.

I tried this place 3 times just to give them the benefit of the doubt. I think i can conclude that it's just not for us. We found the pho broth to be extremely salty. We ordered a rice dish, it was fine. However, the cha gio (Vietnamese egg roll) was very sad looking. It is not the traditional egg roll you would expect as far as the wrapper and texture goes. The restaurant itself is very modern and inviting. I think north OC appreciates a nice looking Vietnamese restaurant.

PhoNatic: A Culinary Delight12/14/24After hearing so much buzz about the newest pho spot in town, our family decided to visit PhoNatic last night--and I couldn't be happier that we did! From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed warmly by the staff, all of whom we learned are family members. Their friendliness and hospitality were evident right away, setting a positive tone for the evening. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and well-lit, with plenty of seating to accommodate both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. We started with two orders of the Spring Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn Tôm Thịt)--a delightful combination of shrimp, thinly sliced beef, fresh noodles, and crisp veggies wrapped in delicate rice paper. Served with a flavorful peanut dipping sauce, these rolls were fresh, light, and the perfect appetizer for anyone craving a non-fried treat. For our main dish, we all opted for the Brisket and Rare Steak Pho (Tái Chín), and let me tell you, Oh. My. Holy. Broth! The flavor was perfectly balanced with just the right seasoning, making each spoonful a treat. Generously packed with tender meat and plenty of noodles, the portions were so satisfying that the idea of an "unlimited noodle refill" felt entirely unnecessary.PhoNatic lives up to every bit of its hype. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere inviting, and the staff's warmth made the experience all the more enjoyable. It's an absolute gem in town that deserves a well-earned two thumbs up!

Living in Southern California and being introduced to pho very early in my childhood, I've had my fair share of mediocre, average, and excellent bowls of pho. There's a wide variety of pho restaurants in the Fullerton/Brea/Placentia area but most of them are either mediocre or average, compared to the ones in the Garden Grove/Westminster/Fountain Valley area.I usually don't try out new restaurants, especially those that had just opened up within the month but I've been craving pho and have been looking for a local spot to hopefully call it a new regular spot that's nearby. The 20% promotion sounded very tempting and the pictures looked great so I decided to check it out! Here's what I ordered: **#7 Large - Rare Steak, Well-done Flank, and Tripe: I've read in previous reviews regarding the generous amount of meat in their pho but mine didn't have much. The size of 75% of my flank pieces were extremely small as well. The broth didn't have any depth in flavor and it was quite bland. The noodles were all clumped together in a block and even though the soup was hot, the noodles did not fall apart. (2/5)**#4A - Spring Rolls with Shrimp & Beef: The spring roll wrappers had a rubbery texture and was very hard to rip off. The spring rolls were mainly vegetables and had very few pieces of shrimp and beef. The overall flavor was very bland however, the peanut sauce was very good. (2/5)When I arrived at 3PM on a Friday, there was only one table occupied with two people. Once I ordered, it took a few minutes for the spring rolls to come out but the pho took 20 minutes. Nobody stopped by my table regarding the extended wait for my bowl of pho. Also, while eating, nobody bothered to ask how everything was except for the last 5 minutes when someone finally checked up on me. There were 4 front of house staff just standing there by the counter area just casually talking amongst one another instead of pretending to do anything which is a sign of very poor service especially because the restaurant is still in their soft opening phase. Waiting 20 minutes for a subpar bowl of pho was ridiculous and I can't imagine how they are during lunch and dinner hours when it's busy.I really wanted to like this place but it was a one and done for me.

Pretty excited to try this new pho spot that replaced Red Flame restaurant. Was bummed that RF only lasted a little over a year. The service was really horrible. Sad to see that didn't go well since we all was excited and Asian hot pot restaurant came into town.Hoping PhoNatic will be much success than the previous restaurant RF.Today is Grand opening day and they are offering 20% off their menu for the entire month per associate. My oldest son has been craving Pho so came here for dinner to check it out for a mommie & mee date 11.15.24Once we arrived, was asked how many guest and seated us right away. The restaurant was pretty occupied with a lot of customers. What we ordered~ # 11 Large Pho. Broth was flavorful and large bowl was really huge filled with noodles. We added $ 3 for extra meat. And there was definitely a lot of meat. Large can be shared among 2 people who aren't too hungry. That's what I did with my teen. ~ # 2c Rice Plate w Grilled Beef I ordered for myself and ended up getting so full from the shared pho. I was able to eat a few of the beef from this dish. The grilled beef was nicely marinated and tender. Associates were nice and service was fast. Boy server along being cashier Mason told me that they are a family owned restaurant and came from Colorado. The restaurant is nice with open spacious booths & tables.Really simple modern design. I frequent this plaza a lot since it's in the same plaza as Dollar Tree along w Grocery Outlet.Located next to PeaBerry coffee shop that is opening soon. They open daily 10 am and closes at 8 pm. Which is pretty early. Phone # 714-829-3230

This is probably one of the best pho places that I've eaten at. Mainly because the ingredients are so fresh. The bean sprouts don't look Brown, the basil doesn't have any holes or any wilt to it, the jalapeno peppers are bright green and even the lime. The broth is also not too salty like most pho places. I drank most of the broth and I never do that. I think there could have been a little bit more meat, but I did only order a regular. I also ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee and that was perfect. The staff is very attentive. I was there for maybe 25 minutes and they stopped by my table twice to check in. They checked to see if I wanted more water. The interior is very modern. Very clean. Very family friendly. The pricing also is very reasonable. I think the regular size was $13.95 and the large was $15.95. The Vietnamese iced coffee was $5.All in all I had a great experience eating here. I came by myself right after lunch time so it wasn't that busy. I will definitely be coming back here again!

I really wanted to like this place, but it needs some improvement. They are offering 20% off for grand opening. The restaurant is pretty spacious and basically retained the same decor from the previous Red Flame. We went on grand opening day on a Friday night so understand that they are still getting into the swing of things. We were seated right away and ordered the 4a spring roll with shrimp and beef, #2, #3, and #9 phos in regular size. Our server was definitely new and when he brought our 3 bowls of pho, he forgot and said he didn't know which one was which. After doing a bit of digging into the bowl, we realized that he mixed up two of the bowls, but we just did a quick swap of bowls amongst ourselves. The portion of the pho was decent for the price. At this point, we were close to done with our pho, but the spring rolls hadn't arrived. We flagged a staff member down to tell them we were missing the spring rolls and asked them to check. After some time, they came back and asked us again what we were missing. Some more time passed, and they finally brought the peanut sauce and then more waiting before the spring rolls were finally brought out. The spring rolls ended up being the best item we tried but was definitely a process to get them.We went to the cashier to pay, and the staff member who helped was nice. However, I do think they need to give customers a heads up because they charge a 3% service fee if you pay with credit card. There was no sign anywhere stating that and I didn't even see it on the screen when I paid - I only found out after looking at my receipt.Overall, staff needs a little bit more training and service could be improved, but I hope they find success in their small business!

What a great little find. Popped up as hot and new on Yelp, so we had to try. First off, friendliest staff ever! Our two servers were excellent. Smiling the entire time, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We started with the beef/shrimp spring roll which was very good. I ordered the brisket pho and my wife got the grilled beef vermicelli. Both of these were very flavorful. We will definitely be back. Reasonably priced and fairly close to home. Already planning our next trip.

This is my first time coming and it was an amazing experience! The service is amazing. A lovely young lady greeted me as I walked through the door with a nice big smile. She was very sweet. The food was delicious! The pho has a nice light broth and the meat was so tender. The appetizers were also great!! Will be coming back again! Forgot to take pictures of the pho but it looked amazing!
