Pho Lu

Just tried out this pho place and I have mixed feelings. While I was excited to try their food, the portion size was a bit disappointing. The "regular" bowl felt more like a light meal - I was still hungry after finishing and felt like I'd only had a snack.I did run into some challenges with my order. When I asked for no cilantro in my Pho Tai, something got lost in translation and I received it without onions instead. When I tried to clarify, there was some confusion between green onions and regular onions, and I never ended up getting the onions I requested. I noticed other diners at nearby tables having similar difficulties getting their preferences across too.If you're planning to visit, you might want to be really clear about any modifications you'd like to make to your order, maybe even pointing to ingredients if possible. Also, just a helpful note - they only accept cash or debit cards, no credit cards accepted.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Food is good, on a good day. My faves here: pho ap chao CRISPY and bun Bo hue. I dislike the pho!! However, service is sooooooooooo bad. I speak Vietnamese, they look at me like I grew a second head. They speak bad English to me and I respond in English, and they look at me like I grew two heads! They take card (shh) they'll just give you a hard time and look. They prefer debit but they'll take a regular credit card.

The service is quick and the ambience is warm and friendly. I went ahead and tried the chicken pho noodles soup. It satisfied my craving for pho. It comes with a side of dipping sauce that was savory. There was an ample amount of chicken for a medium bowl.

my friends and I's favorite late night pho spot ! staff for sure can be a little hostile with big groups, but the pho comes out fast and is always piping hot. Their bun bo hue is really good as well! Super flavorful and the spring-rolls are crunchy and perfectly fried with a good peppery flavor.

I love their shrimp pho. Only complain is that they don't give me enough lemon even when I ask. I need a lot of lemon for large bowl!

In between 3-4 stars. The ambiance is very pretty and the wait time, if there is one, not that long. I like that their bowls come in different sizes and the menu is extensive. Pho tastes good but the noodle portion is small with a lot of soup. Wish there was more! The egg roll appetizer is delicious with a unique crunchy texture. I also always forget that it's cash or debit only so be mindful of that when you go.

Pho Lu is one of the better Pho spots I have been to! I highly recommend coming and enjoying a bowl here. The broth is to die for.

Our favorite pho spot in the area!! Our absolute favorite was the oxtail. An absolute show stopper. They gave us a whole chunk of oxtail-- the meat was fall off the bone delicious and insanely tender. The pho broth was rich. The vermicelli was also great. Service was efficient and quick.

4+ Vietnamese restaurant that specializes in Pho (as the name suggests). Now, I used to live relatively close and this was in my rotation, especially since you get a delicious bowl pho with little fuss and it's available later in the evening than a lot of other places in the area. Just a great, reliable place that's always there for you, haha. The vibe differs depending on the time of day you go. A lot of my past visits were on the later side so it's just people wanting to grab a late night bite or people that just had a night out drinking. Service is always prompt and the food comes pretty fast. During my last visit, I ordered the 4. pho tai chin - pho with rare beef and brisket. This is my go to with most pho places (unless there's a specialty that I should order instead). Just a great, consistent bowl of pho! You get the usual basil, sprouts, citrus and you also get a side of onions here...or did I ask for a side of onions in vinegar... anyway, I'm a fan of this place. Parking is pretty easy usually because there is a lot. Especially easy when you come late, because most of the surrounding businesses are closed.

Food: 8/10, tasty pho tai and combination pho. Service: average, nothing special.Clean restaurant with fresh, clean pho.
