Came in on a Sunday evening. Food was delicious. Meat was soft, noodles plenty, and broth was on point. Service was great. Even included free Vietnamese coffee! Would definitely recommend!

Ordered pho combination to go. It felt very home feeling when I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by an elderly couple. They were very kind, and patient. Although I ordered food to go, they offered me water while I waited for my food to be prepared. I appreciate it the hospitality. Broth was very flavorful. Meat to noodle ratio was fantastic. It definitely hits the spot, especially during these cold winters. Location: love that there is plentiful of parking.

Came here during the happy hour/early bird discount. It's definitely worth a try especially with the nice 30% discount.Negatives: -Value, normal prices are a little steep. Though they do advertise that they use American waygu. There isn't a noticeable difference with the brisket, but with the beef rib and other cuts it's definitely softer and more buttery. With the happy hour discount I won't count this against them. Positives:-taste, I came here with my godparents and they liked it. That's saying a lot because older Vietnamese people know what they like and they're unapologetic about their opinions. To me the flavor of the broth was decent. What made it stand out was the tenderness of the beef.-service, service was quick and everyone was very polite and kind to us. Overall 5/5The ambiance is quiet and calm. We will definitely come back again, especially during happy hour to try some other dishes.

It's like going over to the house of the token family chef without an invite but it's worth the risk for that soul saving Pho soup and yes, it's really all Wagyu!! Pho Akaushi Combo 10/10 ~$18-first timer so gotta get the combo to try it all but I fear that after indulging, the combo is all I'll ever try bc it's all I'll ever need-meatballs and tender cubes, lean slices, fatty pieces of WAGYU swimming in a succulently supple broth with ribbons of bouncy noodles customized to ur preference of limey, tangy, spicy, hint of hoisin sweetness and bites of crunchy bean sprouts and fresh minty and leafy veggies -they've mastered the slowly simmered savory yet clean and slurpable broth and the offering of Wagyu only is delectable and elegant Spring rolls 8/10 -classic can't go wrong maybe I just prefer a bit more fish sauce in the meat -the crunch is loud and + for the bright fish sauce that comes w it The food is delightful but so is the service and the people. Came in with w my brother and parents and left with full bellies and full hearts thanks to Tom and crew. Thanks for the lunch time smiles and stories - we will travel from the valley for good food and even better business/people any time!

Food is great, the broth is super flavorful. The only thing is that this location is located in an odd neighborhood and the ventilation is really bad. The first thing you smell is old oil. We tried to order egg rolls as an appetizer but they were sold out. We came in half hour after they opened so I thought that was odd. My sister can't have rice noodles and typically pho places are able to substitute it with egg noodle but they sold out of egg noodles as well. Overall, their pho is good but we will not be coming back to this location. There's another location in Garden Grove area that is better. The only reason why we came to this one is because on Yelp, it's showed that this location is permanently closed. But, we drove by and we see people dinning in. I will definitely go back to the Garden Grove location the next time I'm in the area.

Solid pho with Wagyu! Although I will say I don't know if the wagyu really tastes like other wagyu's I've had. Süp in Irvine is still my #1 pho spot! The broth is light but flavorful - a tinge on the sweet side. It's a decent portion & they do give you a lot of meat!

I'm used to traditional broths for pho, but Pho Akaushi's Wagyu is a game changer! The Wagyu does so much to the pho's flavor. It adds more of a umami flavor to the broth which is savory and sweet. It's something I'm not used to but was really delicious. The Wagyu itself was sooo good! The cuts of meat were tender and melted in my mouth. They give you a solid amount of meat, but I still should've ordered extra Wagyu, it's amazing.Service was nice too, the owner came up to me and chatted with me a bit, even offering a sample of some coffee he'd been working on. The people here seem very sweet and hard working - they definitely deserve your business!

Delicious but worth $18 for a bowl of pho? I do appreciate a clean and bright restaurant but the sauce bottles were sticky. The strangest part was when the owner made a 15min phone call on full blast speaker for everyone to hear. After that experience, I am Surprised by the rave reviews. I doubt I'll come back.
