Patagonia Empanadas

Best empanadas in the area.I don't usually write such groundbreaking reviews but this must be said.Get the Arab Empanada, Beef + Lemon and other spices.

Really great hidden gem in Orange!! Staff is very nice and friendly, I got the steak sandwich with the onions and cheese and it was legit. All the pastries look delicious and I'm not a big sweets person but these are just tempting you haha one day I'll breakdown and get one for sure. They play the soccer matches on the weekends which I like. Overall I recommend and will return to get a sandwich and beer and catch a game, cheers!!

I have been coming to Patagonia for a couple years now, and I really enjoy their food! Granted I only ever order empanadas, but they keep me coming back for more because they are too delicious!The shop is small but there is a lot of seating between the inside and the patio. I always see people here watching soccer, or whatever is playing at the time. It seems like a nice place to grab some good food and watch a game!My favorite empanadas are the spinach, the Arab, and the chicken. I feel like I never eat enough veggies so I get a spinach empanada and it makes me feel better about my dietary choices!Each order of empanadas includes a teeny little cup of chimichurri. You can get more chimichurri if you want to pay for a larger container of it. It is absolutely delicious and tastes fresh. The tiny container is too small for dipping so you'll probably have to pour it out onto each delicious bite of the food. That's what works for me!The Arab has a delicious savory beef filling with a touch of lemon that gives a nice acidic bite. It is a favorite of mine and my family loves it too!The chicken enpanada is juicy and flavorful, too. All of the empanadas are generously filled and just a couple of them make a meal for me! Then again, I don't eat large portions but I digress.The spinach empanada is packed full of tasty spinach that is well seasoned and I believe there is some cheese in there too.You can get pastries and desserts here. I haven't ordered anything from the pastry case yet, but all of it looks tempting! I have tried a little packaged alfajor at the counter. I don't remember what brand it was from but they are in a little basket at the register.The service here has always been fine for me. I know some reviews suggest otherwise, but in my experience, if you don't cause a problem you won't have a problem. The food is always served hot and fresh, the chimichurri is delicious. I can easily consider this place my favorite empanada spot in OC!

I was pleased to have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at Patagonia Empanadas today. The chicken empanadas and the "Fish Scalope" accompanied by a green salad were exquisite. The young lady at the register provided exceptional service, demonstrating notable attentiveness. The location now feels significantly more spacious, thanks to the addition of a permanent outdoor patio area featuring a large TV, thereby creating an inviting space for those who enjoy dining al fresco.

This gem is worth the trip if you're not close. Patagonia has some of the most fresh and delicious empanadas. You get a fresh flaky dough with a healthy amount of filling. I ordered the beef, chicken, Arab, sweet beef, and spinach and cheese. I tried the Patagonia salad, which is similar to a Waldorf salad but has stuffed green olives and a delicious vinaigrette. To end I enjoyed an espresso and bread pudding. I wanted to try various desserts: bread pudding, cannoli, and apple tart. The bread pudding is my favorite! It's very moist and had golden raisins. It has a dollop of dulce de Leche and a cherry. They have a variety of cookies filled with dulce de Leche too. If you're unfamiliar with some of the dishes, chances are you will enjoy it. They serve large portions and fresh ingredients. There is patio and indoor seating for groups of 2-4 people. It's a small cafe with big flavor. You can smell the food from the parking lot.

This place was amazing! Inside seating is limited but there is outdoor seating under cover. I tried the sun dried tomato empanada and the chipotle chicken. Both very good. Brought home an assortment of other flavors including the Arab. My coworkers ordered the Arab as well as the spinach and cheese. Everyone really liked what they had. Some people tried the pasta. Lobster ravioli and gnocchi. They said it was tasty. I also brought home a giant Dulce de leche sandwich cookie. Would for sure get again but would love to try the thousand layers dessert. If you're in the area it's a must. The owner was so friendly and treated our group of 12 like family.

We came back today (a few days later from our first visit) and ordered a lomito sandwich (again), fries, drink and a pastry. We noticed that we didn't get a small side of chimichurri sauce with our sandwich (we received it last time with our sandwich order and empanadas) so we asked for a side. To our surprise the lady behind the counter charged us $1 for the very small side. We understand times are hard now but c"mon. The size of the sauce is more like a sample size, for sure not worth $1 especially if we received 3 sauces at no cost last time. We know they sell a larger side of sauce but at this point we were put off by their stinginess and smug attitude and didn't want to bother.

I'm a huge fan of dulce de leche so this place is one of my favorites when I get that craving. I love their alfajores! It is generously heaped with dulce de leche and the cookie portion is rich and buttery. They also dust it with coconut flakes that add an extra depth of flavor. I also love their dulce de leche cannoli. It has a crispy pastry, loaded with filling and has a chocolate piped interior. The lady at the counter is always so nice and they recently renovated and added a quaint patio area.

Everything is great ! Excelente Expresso ! Have being there many times always good food great European sweets .

Very nice and clean looking restaurant with some delicious food and desserts. Go around 3 pm and it's not busy at all.
