My wife and I keep coming back and truly enjoy each time we have gone. The food is always so quick to come out from the servers, who are also always so kind and attentive! They are always making sure we have everything and if we need anything at all. We typically get the same orders and have tried quite a few things, but our go-to's have been the scrambled green eggs and the chicken burger. Paired with a matcha latte and a vanilla chai latte as well. Matcha and chai are awesome, have some great flavors, and are not too sweet or overpowering either. The scrambled green eggs with the green salsa add some great flavor and tartness! The sourdough with spread is the BEST. The chicken burger and Cesar salad are also some great options with great flavor! The Cesar salad has a great amount of dressing and not too much either. The burger bun has a nice little crisp to it! Brown sugar chocolate chip cookie - just get it. It's bomb!Definitely recommend it as a great breakfast and brunch spot with an absolutely beautiful view of Crystal Cove and the beach.

I've been to Parakeet a couple of times and really enjoy the food here. Depending on what you order you can have a nice protein packed and decently healthy lunch. I've tried both the All I Avo Wanted and the Power Bowl with added tofu. They were both good but I preferred the Power Bowl. The labneh and tofu made the bowl really flavorful and I added a side of salsa macha for a bit of heat. The interior has a lovely pink aesthetic and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Every employee I've encountered here has been really nice and friendly. Part of a pleasant experience is to avoid the weekends to avoid the crowd.

Such a bright and happy and cheery place! You'll get such cute pictures here with the decor and all of the happy colors around you. I will say that parking is a mess and for some reason this shopping center is super super busy. Expect to have to park far and walk over. I ordered an iced chai and I did love the flavors and design of cup, but I thought they put too much ice imo. Didn't get to dine because it was busy but took to go instead. Will come again and I'm happy that they are busy because it is a cute place but it's not a place to "chill" and hang out with coffee because it's simply too loud from the crowd.

I recently visited Parakeet Cafe in Newport Coast for lunch and was left somewhat underwhelmed. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the tomato soup.The soup arrived lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. The flavor itself was okay, but I found it slightly too sour for my liking.The grilled chicken sandwich was also underwhelming. The bread had some burnt sections, and the chicken itself was a bit dry.However:It's important to note that this review is solely based on my lunch experience. I've previously enjoyed breakfast at Parakeet Cafe and found it to be a much more positive experience. Their breakfast menu is excellent, and the overall ambiance is very enjoyable.Overall:While my lunch experience wasn't the best, I would still recommend trying Parakeet Cafe, especially for breakfast.

Pricey- but what do you expect for exceptional ingredients a stunning location, and great staff? I LOVE this place so much. Have never had a bad meal here! Went to lunch here with a girlfriend and she ordered the charcoal waffles... Which I will absolutely be ordering next time. They were absolutely delicious!!! I ate All I Avo Wanted, and had a turmeric latte - both absolutely yummy (of course)!!Until next time, Parakeet... xx

Crystal cove's best kept secret (for dinner!) Their promos are truly unbeatable (iykyk)!! This place is mostly known for their breakfast foods and yes they are delicious as well! No seed oils, no refined sugars and all quality ingredients. I personally love the surfer burrito and any of their wellness lattes for breakfast. Mari and Damian are incredibly kind and accommodating people who are always willing to go the extra mile! We love coming here!!

First time visitor.Plenty of parking.Stopped by after dinner for coffee.Nice selection, staff was very helpful.After 6 pm they offered buy one pastry get one free.Vegan cookie was great.Must try spot if in the area and looking for a great cup.I had the Vanilla Matcha and my wife had Tumeric. Both were great.

Leaving another 5 star review because I can't say enough good things about the food and staff! Marrie and Damien (hope I spelled their names right) are SO kind and friendly every time we come in! Last night, we had the pleasure of being helped by both of them and they are SO AWESOME AND AMAZING I just had to come on here to give them some well-deserved praise! :) Thank you to all the employees at Parakeet!! This place cannot be beat when it comes to the quality of the food and staff! Parakeet will continue to be my favorite spot in all of OC especially since it's seed oil free! HUGE THANK YOU!!!

The cutest spot in Orange County for a bright and vibrant breakfast, brunch, or lunch. With a view overlooking the ocean from Crystal Cove, a brilliant interior, a healthy packed menu with juices, smoothies, salads, sandwiches and tons of drink options, this is such a perfect spot for a girl date, a family, or a solo treat yourself. The menu has several options and the staff are quick to help and share about options as well as keeping your table tidy. Indoor and outdoor seating, pet friendly, kid friendly, temperature friendly, just all around a good spot for healthy food or a treat.
