I bought their inari sushi they sell at Albertsons. The sushi rice was old and hard. Worst inari sushi I've ever had. How can you get inari sushi wrong?

So you're in Fullerton, tons of great restaurants.. especially sushi. See my review for KAORI and Sushi Joint. But here's a place that you can easily miss. PADA Sushi is located inside Albertson's. It's not a "typical" sushi bar. It's barely a bar.. more like "a hole in Albertson's wall". Yes, you are at grocery store, but they are an independent entity... It's tiny little corner, but they don't mess around when it comes to sushi. Tips:If you go early in the day, you will meet the sushi chefs since they'll be working. I recommend chatting it up with these guys.. they are always very happy to see customers stop and ask them questions. And they can make to order your sushi plate. You will order to go, but hey..who says you can't eat it right there. There's some tables by the indoor Starbucks where you can park and eat.. AFTER you pay of course. The ready plates are ok. I've gotten the sushi and the crunchy roll plate... decently priced. Just a little cheaper than your typical sushi restaurant. They are made to taste like you just ordered them 5 seconds ago. Since you're at Albertson's, you might as well go to the beer section and get some ASAHI or Kirin. You pretty much got a nice sushi dinner w/ beer and probably half the price of a nice sushi restaurant.I just wish it's a bigger place and they have more variety.Final words: Great deal and fresh ingredients. No more, no less.

Whenever I am inside Albertsons I always grab a couple Pada Sushi items for myself because it's made daily fresh and it does taste delicious! It's great if you love sushi but don't have the time to eat sushi in a sit-down setting or if you just want to enjoy sushi at home. The quality is always good and you can always ask the chef to make you something fresh for you, if they are there. Keep up the good work!

The first guy that was here was generous with the fish and really nice. Now the new lady that works here is shiesty, but nice. The fact that the quality went down and prices did not is concerning. Really mad at myself for not paying the same price at a closer sushi joint to get better quality and portions.
