Came here for shaved ice and it was not tasty. The worst shaved ice I've had. The fruit was frozen and borderline rotten! The ice was not flavored. There was some kind of nasty weird sweetener - seemed like some cheap corn syrup. To make things worse, the cost with tax was nearly $20. Probably the worst and most expensive amount I spent on shaved ice, and I regret it. Service was minimal. You have to go pickup the food when it's done being prepared at the counter, and they don't offer any little sharing containers, or much other things that you would expect at shaved ice places. They get a lot of business it seems, given their first floor location at the Source mall complex. Their seating arrangements are packed. Their chairs are hard and uncomfortable. Ambiance is noisy and busy. You feel rushed and stressed. I would not return again and regret the money spent and calories consumed there.

Located in the Source building by Beach and Orangethorpe, this place offers variety of bingsu (traditional Korean shaved ice). We tried Affogato okbingsul. Pretty good size bowl for two.

I was shocked that this wasn't good because usually all the bingsu places I've been to have been good and hard to mess up but this one was not it. The shaved ice cream part I was expecting to taste milky but it just tasted like straight water and the only matcha part of this was the added matcha powder and the powder was so crumbly and old that my friend choked on it

I came here for dessert while at the source and was disappointed overall. The size of what you get for the price is shocking! It's really small and not easy to share for more than 2 people. The taste is good but there are better Korean shaved ice places in Buena Park down the street. I would likely try another dessert shop rather than return here.

Haven't had bingsoo in what felt like forever so I decided to try out this spot that used to be a local favorite. This spot is located inside of the Source and parking is in a garage. It was a bit hard to find the spot but after a bit of walking we found it. I ordered the mango bingsoo and the process is pretty straightforward. Order at the counter, pay, wait for your number to be called, and go up to pick it up. It was pretty pricey for what we got. It still tasted pretty good and refreshing so we'll give them that. Unfortunately, this seems more like something we could've made at home. The mangoes were the frozen kind you could probably purchase at the grocery store.Their interior is quite nice with very modern decor and makes for great photos. Wouldn't come back, but I appreciate the refreshing dessert concept.

OKBingsul is fine if you're already at the CGV Mall and want a quick stop, but it's not a destination on its own. The taste was just okay--not bad, but nothing memorable. The service was minimal; they bring the order out, and that's about it. The vibe felt oddly out of place, like no one cared much about the food, service, or even what you were doing there. I was the only one in the shop, which might just be because it's winter, but for a Chicagoan like me, it felt like a summertime escape, so I didn't mind too much. Still, it's not somewhere I'd bother returning to.

Te food is good love the everything employees are nice and respectful place is clean but the owner is a B...H she's rude annoying yells at her employees and is rude to customers

I love their custard taiyaki! The outside is so crunchy and the inside is mochimochi (mochi-like texture I can't find the english word lol),and the custard filling is good!Their drinks were so good! If you like yogurt, the mango yogurt smoothie is perfect!For okbingsul, I should have ordered something else instead of watermelon cuz it is not in season right now. I'll definitely try other shaved ice next time!
