I love this place! Simple food, reasonably priced, you can't go wrong. We've tried various dishes and it's all been tasty, my personal favorite is the chicken teriyaki. The location is not great for large groups, but the food holds when ordering to go. Service is quick and friendly. They also cater!

So not many of authentic Japanese owned food establishments are left in north Orange County, and to me this place is a real gem considering you can get Katsu and teriyaki bento boxes. Many sizes to choose from and so many combo items to choose from. How can you not like this place?

This is for sure a case of dont judge a book by its cover because looks sure are deceiving here!The strip mall that its in is rough. And Okazya is by all means a lil' hole in the wall. But there's something rather charming about it. Nothing fancy about this place, and you can kind of see into the kitchen and its not fancy back there either.But the lady who took my order was so nice. I didnt get her name, but she gave me some genuine recommendations. Nonetheless, I ordered the one thing that I came for...the XL Spicy Tuna Bowl. Also got some mixed tempura.Been hearing about this bowl in one of the buzz groups and had to have it. After a short wait, I got it and took it straight home. I expected a full container of spicy tuna on top of rice, and that is exactly what it was! The spicy tuna was not painfully spicy, it actually tasted slightly sweet to me. But this was a case where my expectations were 100% spot on.Highly recommend giving this place a shot.If youre doing to go, I would also recommend calling ahead.

This place is a local gem! It's a no frills mom & pop shop that cheap, delicious, and filling. I'm also a big fan of their condiment bar where you can load up on soy sauce, hot sauces, pickles, etc. to enhance your food.We got a teriyaki bowl with chicken and beef which was delicious. The teriyaki sauce wasn't overpoweringly salty and the meat was juicy. I also got a chashu bowl which was topped with green onions - soo good if you're not in the mood for teriyaki. We also got 2 fountain drinks - all this was less than $30 for 2 people.As with most mom & pop places, cash is preferred and service was very nice. Order at the register and just pick a place to eat and enjoy your meal. We will definitely come back and check out some of their other specials!

I just love helping the small home type eating establishment. They have the homemade Japanese Food that my mom made. I love their teriyaki chicken and curry combination #17. It is a very small place, but in today's economy it pretty inexpensive and delicious. Service is excellent and pretty efficient. This place is also great for ordering for parties.

So disappointed. I wanted to like the food so bad because it looks very promising but it lacked a lot of flavor, so much so that it was bland. We walked in and there was no one there, I wanted to give the place a shot because the food on the menu looked and sounded great. They have a lot of options on the menu but I got the chicken teriyaki combo with rice and it came with noodles & salad. Overall I would say the food was edible. There was no flavor and the salad was drenched in dressing. I'm very disappointed & sad because I wanted to like it so much since it looks appealing.

Okazya has the best chicken teriyaki in town! The $15 boombox is enough to share but it's so good that anyone with a small appetite would overeat! Whenever you're too tired to cook, this is the place to get a hearty meal!

The food was delicious!! It was my first visit :) the only thing is it was during lunch time so I had to wait about 25 minutes for my food, so I'm definitely going to order ahead next time! :)

This place is so bad. I got the Wednesday special. Which was chicken katsu, teriyaki chicken and a egg roll. It always came with a salad.The katsu barely had any breading and was mushy and sour. The teriyaki chicken had no flavor. Even the salad was terrible! The dressing tasted like mayonnaise. This place needs to be shut down

Best teriyaki chicken around for 30 yrs. The daily special is where it's at and you can't go wrong with any of the big boy meals
