Ocean Snack is a cozy spot that delivers solid Korean comfort food. I ordered the bulgogi, and it was satisfying with its savory-sweet marinade and tender beef. The portion was generous and came with a nice mix of veggies and rice, making it a complete and flavorful meal. The service was friendly and efficient. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, the staff were attentive and quick to check in. My food came out hot and fresh, which was appreciated. The ambience is simple and casual, more of a no-frills environment suited for a quick meal or takeout. It's not the kind of place you'd linger for a long time, but it has a welcoming vibe that feels inviting.Overall, Ocean Snack is a great choice for a straightforward and tasty meal. While it doesn't feel like a destination restaurant, the quality of the food and the service make it worth visiting when you're in the mood for something comforting.

This is the place for a snack attack!7/13/2024. K popcorn chicken ($9.99): was just ok, not much seasoning and the breading was thick, 3.5/5 stars. Tornado fries ($6.99): were unique & enjoyable. Crispy exterior but tender inside, 4/5 stars. I'd request no sugar for seasoning next time, as I do for Korean corn dogs.Obviously, I'd return for the tornado fries!

They have a self serve kiosks for dining in. We ordered the bulgogi Plate with k-popcorn chicken (sauce came on the side), and the meal came with a miso soup as well. The bulgogi plate has a generous portion of meat and rice. It's served on a hot plate and there's just something appealing with anything on a hot plate! The plate also came with some onions and broccoli as well. The miso soup was standard. And the popcorn chicken came with some fried rice cakes and we dipped in the sauce that it came with. The prices of the food were a bit steep here. Especially for the popcorn chicken and rice cakes. The chicken was crispy but the portion was a bit small, and the taste was okay. I think I'd skip the popcorn chicken next time and try something else on the menu. The only interaction I had with an actual person was just during the food pick up, and that was it. So service was definitely done mostly on the kiosk. It's a food court, so you'd also have to clean up your own tray afterward. Make sure to bring water or you'd have to buy water/ beverage somewhere on the food court. The good thing is that there are a lot of options to choose from the food court.

I am surprised they got such bad reviews but I enjoyed their food and think price was not too bad among other stalls at the food court. I was craving for ramen and at first I was worried about ordering Korean ramen bc I thought it might just package ramen that I can make at home. But glad that it's not, the broth was flavorful and it's not packaged and the seafood was fresh and they gave me decent amount. My family ordered a teriyaki rice combo and a glass noodles with beef...none of us could finish our dishes and everything was tasty.

Terrible service. Overpriced oily food, you're better off elsewhere in the mall. Staff is very rude

I was curious to try the food here because I was really in the mood to eat korean food. However, I have to be honest with how disappointing my order was. The workers were fine, there isn't anything wrong on their part. The army soup, however, is not worth it. It's 18 dollars, but it doesn't have anything to make it worth 18 dollars. The soup was good for it's spice, but you'll only find vegetables, melted cheese, and bits of sausages. These are cheap ingredients you can buy at the grocery store, and cook yourself. I haven't tried other items here, but I'll have to say my experience this time was regretful.

Self-service and greatttt value. So much meat for a 14 dollar bowl of noodles. The udon was chewy in a good way. I recommend you give this a go when indecisively strolling through the food court.

The food was so weird I feel like it was a Caucasian rendition of Korean food??? I got the beef japchae dish and the tteokbokki on a skewer. The japchae was so flavorless, only the meat had some flavor. It also didn't taste much like Korean seasoning, maybe because I couldn't taste the seasoning. It also made everything very dry and not pleasant. The tteokbokki was too chewy and it literally tasted like ketchup. There wasn't the usual red chili gochujang taste at all. I was very disappointed because I wanted to eat good food at the source.

I got food poisoning from here. I had three things. Takoyaki, rice cakes with sausages, and a potato thing. I swear worse thing that happened to me. I ate from here and nowhere else. The takoyaki octopus was off. The place is crammed with a bunch of stuff. From the moment I saw it....was a bit skeptical. But went ahead and tried. Oh man bad idea. Had to go to urgent care and have fluids pumped. Threw up my soul. Oof never again.

This was my first time trying this place and although they're mainly a seafood restaurant, my group and I coincidentally all got beef and pork! The spicy pork meal came with rice and miso soup. It's not that spicy so if you have a low spice tolerance you'll be fine. The beef meal also came with rice and miso soup. The flavor was very good! The miso soup was just what you'd expect. The highlight of the meal was truly the tornado potato. It was made fresh to order, perfectly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. It's served with a packet of ketchup and a packet of mustard and sprinkled with sugar. I would order about 10,00 more of those! They have different bottled drink options to choose from. I got the corn tea, which I had never heard of before. It is literally flavored like corn (duh) and was quite good. If you've never had it before, I'd recommend giving it a try if you enjoy corn. The restaurant service was mainly fast (there was one person in my group whose food took abnormally long but it was because they were making her potato tornado fresh). They will give you a pager that lights up when your food is ready. Since this is in a food court, there were plenty of places to sit inside.
