Being a mole fan, I naturally had to try this place out. We had a rather large party of about a dozen but they were able to reserve us a large table without issue on a Saturday night. Luckily the folks I was with are all fairly open to new dishes, so we tried a little of everything. I ended up with the Mole Enchiladas with the Coloradito mole and the Horchata Oaxaqueña. The mole was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet, the presentation was beautiful. The Horchata was above average, and the addition of the tiny scoop of pink (strawberry?) shaved ice was a nice touch. All in all, everything we ordered was excellent, especially the Mole Coloradito/Mole Negro and the Oaxacan Empanadas (potato). The ambiance was colorful, lively, and fun. I would definitely say that it makes this place is an experience worth sharing. The other side of the restaurant is a cantina, which is nicely segregated so you can relax with family on one side and maybe have a little fun on the other. The servers were all helpful, polite, and attentive. If you're looking for a cheerful, vibrant Mexican dining experience with excellent options for mole, look no further! I would definitely make a return trip out here just for that mole Coloradito! Thank you Oaxacan Village!

Trying out something local I saw on yelp. Came in and they had mexican music playing, was nice. We ordered chips and guacamole. And for entrees chicken enchiladas mole negro w/rice and Will ordered chicken enchiladas red sauce w/rice and they both came with beans. Food was good but not hot, but it was tasty. Dessert was plantain bananas w/condensed milk drizzled over it and sprinkles. Washed it down w/Jamaica drink and he had sprite. It wasn't crowded so I thought service could have been more attentive. The place seemed a little dated and run down like it needed a deep cleaning and definitely new table covers because they were all torn. Overall was just okay but a bit on the pricey side. Too much competition out there for just okay.

Super friendly customer service and family run business. Thanks Alan and family!I recommend the butterfish tacos and mole bowl but my new favorite is the memela trio Oaxaqueno with steak or Oaxaca cheese.

DELICIOSO MOLE!!Authentic mole made in house. Great service and a fun atmosphere. We had the mole chicken enchiladas with mole negro, they were delicious. My son had the Torta and enjoyed it. We also had the nopales ensalada and the maracuyá agua fresca (passion fruit) it was great with pieces of fruit added. The server was really sweet and brought us a dragonfruit ice cream on the house it was so yummy and unique.

This place is such a cute little restaurant with original decor from Oaxaca, food it's amazing and very traditional dishes. Service is very nice, since it's seems like a family own and run by the family. Highly recommended if you want to try a Oaxaca dish.

Decent Oaxacan food in a pleasant restaurant vibe. We saw someone to the side of us celebrating their birthday, and it looked like they were having a good time. The service was quick and friendly.I got the chorizo and eggs. I found the chorizo too salty and to be on the smaller side. Given the price I paid, I wouldn't get that again. My brother-in-law's tasajo and eggs was a much better option for someone with a good appetite. My wife's chilaquiles was also decent but nothing to rave about. For the price, I've had better, but it's hard to find Oaxacan food around here. Next time, I'll have to try the lunch and dinner options.
