O’ Sushi

Came here for date night. It's been a while since we first visited this place and we still remember how great our first experience was, a year or two after the pandemic. We've been dreaming of coming back since then. So finally, we did. We got lucky that we were a bit early for a Friday night, 5:30PM and was able to be seated right away. When we left, there was a line of people outside. Hubs got the tuna roll and I got the 2-item bento box with salmon teriyaki and sushi. Hubs said his roll was a bit overwhelming and the fish was on the dry side, but I loved mine... the box came with miso soup (which was oddly on a sweeter side), rice, and salads. I was in Rosemead for work and wanted to find a local spot where I could grab a quick lunch before heading to the airport. O'Sushi looked promising especially with the overall positive reviews, plus sushi tends to generally be prepared fast. I arrived at O'Sushi around 1:30pm on a Wednesday and found the cute mom's and pop's shop. The restaurant was located in a small plaza, which had plenty of parking. It wasn't busy at all despite Google showing that it was busier than usual. I must've missed the lunch rush. I snagged a corner table that was comfy like a booth and appreciated the festive decor and holiday spirit. I was kindly greeted by a server, who was working by himself at the time. He was such a gentleman and very attentive. There was one sushi chef who was preparing the sushi, and he did not disappoint in delivering every table's orders in a timely manner. The place is small but mighty as I had a great quality and satisfying meal. I ordered the Oishi (riceless) roll, hotate nigiri, saba nigiri, soft shell crab salad, and a "What's that roll." Enjoyed every bite of everything I ate.

Came here on a Tuesday and was 1 of 2 people in this small restaurant. It's a pretty cute little spot and pretty comfy. We ended up having to wait 10-15 minutes to order because the waiter and the chef were talking about something and didn't pay attention to us. Was a bit weird since we were waiting for quite some time trying to waive them down but we weren't in a hurry so not that big of a deal. For the food it was good, here is what we got.Miso Soup - It's a classic miso soup. Nothing special but it was comforting. (4/5)What's that roll - It's a creamy roll with a lot of different fish. Personally I liked it, and there was a lot going on. (4/5)Sashimi Plate - This was $36 for 18 pieces which honestly is pretty good. It came with I think 5 different types of fish, some including tuna/salmon (I don't know what the rest way and it's not listed on the menu) Pieces seem fresh and overall it was presented well. Thought it was pretty good. (4.5/5)Overall it's a small little sushi spot with pretty decent fish. I'd say its above average in terms of quality and reasonable pricing. We spent $62 for 2 people and left reasonably full.Parking - They share a small lot but they have a few spots that are specific for O' Sushi customers.

Fairly new, solid Japanese restaurant in the area! My family ordered takeout for dinner and was told it would be around 35 minutes to pick up. The place is located in a very small plaza with a small parking lot. There was no parking when we got there, so my fiancé had to wait in the car while I grabbed the food. I still had to wait about 10 more minutes since our food wasn't ready yet, so total time was around 45 minutes since we placed our phone order.We got a Bento Box Special with Chicken and Beef Teriyaki, which comes with a side of rice, miso soup, and house and potato salad. The portions were great, and the meats were juicy and flavorful! The potato salad had some raisins and apples which I thought was interesting. We also ordered some rolls - Rainbow Roll, Dragon (Eel) Roll, and California roll. All the sushi rolls were good and pretty standard, and the fish tasted fresh. We also ordered a side of Shrimp Tempura which was tasty as well.Overall, the food here is delicious! Parking can be difficult if it's busy. The restaurant did look pretty small inside so there might be a wait if you dine in.

Takeout! As I entered I noticed how cozy and clean this venue is and thought "I'd like to eat here one day." I ordered shrimp tempura appetizer (dipping sauce included) and a spicy tuna roll with spicy mayo. Exceptionally all fresh...yum! And everything was packed up nice and neat! Lady who tended to me was quiet but yet polite. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

This restaurant is so cute! I came with my husband and my six year old son. My son ordered the chicken cutlet and he ate all of it! It came with little dumplings egg rolls a salad and miso soup. We also ordered the sushi sampler which was really good. I liked how they sprayed the octopus and shrimp with lemon juice. It was so fresh! Then, my husband ordered the sushi burrito which was really good too! We also got the baked salmon and it was really good too! The service was very attentive and the server was very nice. We also ordered the hot green tea and I loved the taste of roasted rice in it. The decor was adorable and was decorated for Christmas. I would definitely come back. I ordered here before for catering and the guests loved the sushi. For all the stuff we got, the price was decent.

I placed an order for pick up and I'm so glad I did. I got the salmon roll and my partner got the California rolls. First, the portions were large and filling. Lots of other sushi joints skim you with the portions but not O' Sushi. The quality and taste is there, I have never had such great tasting sushi. The service was reliable and it was clean inside. It has a very intimate vibe inside, attached I have a picture of a Polaroid section inside which I thought was a welcoming touch. I will most definitely be returning and glad I have found a spot like this one.

When this place opened up I was pretty skeptical, because the previous owners also ran a sushi restaurant there. It lies on a corner by a skate shop and liquor store and looks very unassuming, but it is GREAT. The food is high quality, the service is so kind and attentive, and even when we get a chirashi bowl to go, it's GORGEOUSLY packed and still tastes delicious. I asked last time I was there and learned it is a family-owned business. I love that there's Asian representation in this area. I have tried many rolls and a bento box in addition to the chirashi. The servings are very carefully and beautifully presented, while being generous and tidy. I don't have a photo of the chirashi bowl in person, but you can see, even the takeout was epic.The restaurant itself is small and tidy. The tables and seats are comfortable. It is quiet and family friendly. The parking lot is shared with other small shops in the plaza, but I have never had an issue finding a spot. We will keep coming here to support a family owned business while satisfying our delicious fish cravings. I look forward to trying other items on the menu!

Ok ...so I drove by this place twice today so I decided to try it for the First time . Parking lot is small but there was a parking space available today . It's a tiny restaurant but as I walked in I can see that the tables and floor is really clean and our Host was polite. I ordered the Tiger roll .....Shrimp Tempura Roll and a Baked Salmon Roll which were Very Delicious along with a miso soup. I give this place a 5 star rating for Delicious Rolls and Great Customer Service for a Great Price. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thanks O Sushi .

This is my go to place for sushi. It's a small restaurant with great service and great food. About a year ago I was looking for a sushi place near me. I read the reviews and I tried it. The service and food made me a regular at this sushi restaurant. Give it a try and see if you like it or not.
