Northside Cafe By Caliente

I was devastated when Caliente closed down in Costa Mesa but thrilled when Northside opened up even closer to our home!!Northside has many items that were on the Caliente menu (blue moon salad, wow taco, riks taco), but even more! They have a ton of coffee/tea options! I love the matcha and chai! The coffee bar is also awesome! So many choices!When I go in the morning, there are great grab and go options from breakfast burritos to wraps to salads. I often get the no meat burrito. It has eggs, tots, cheese, and sauce. It's so good!!The employees are always helpful and kind and the restaurant is very clean and inviting,

Four star review because the portions here are insane! I got the chicken fiesta burrito bowl and this could easily feed 3 people. I love the service here and the staff are incredibly inviting. The ambience is great because you can sit here and eat, while getting some work done.

Great little local spot. Clean food and nice ambiance. kind of place you run into your neighbors. Grateful for the convenient location in the middle of residential area. Taking off 1 star because the hours are very limited as they also cater.

I was looking for a coffee shop right off the bike trail and found this cafe! I had the Mexican Spice Coffee and it was delightful! So much depth and flavor with a splash of the chocolate almond milk. I also ordered the Simple Bacon burrito and it was filled with eggs, hash browns, and bacon, so goo!The cafe had a syrup station and self serve area that made it so convenient to tailor your drink. I'll definitely be back!

1. I love the combo of hash browns and fried chicken in a breakfast burrito! Also, the cold brew definitely hit the spot in the morning!2. The spot has fun casual vibes with lots of cute decor!3. The staff was friendly and would even cut my burrito in half for me!4. Cutest place ever!! Vegan and gluten free bakery options. And sugar free syrups too! Lots of seating to do work and a full menu too. Service was the best from Delaney. Highly highly recommend.

My cousin lives in HB so when I come to visit we come to Northside Cafe. I absolutely love this spot & miss it when I'm back home. The staff are some of the most hospitable & lovely humans I've ever met. They remember names, faces, orders, conversations, etc. even after one visit! Just truly the best! The coffee is to die for. The Mexican latte- if you have not had it, get it! The iced chai with americano? RUN to get that one. The breakfast burritos are the best in town, hands down. Everything is so well done & delicious, & prices are great. The vibes are always on here. They've really done a spectacular job with the decor here; it makes you feel happy! Can't wait to be back to my favorite coffee shop ever! Please try it out, you won't be sorry!

I absolutely love this place! The food and atmosphere is great. If you have never tried Mexican spiced coffee come here and give it a go! The blueberry muffins are so tasty and cookies are to die for! Staff is always friendly as well :)

WOW!! What can I say? The food was amazing, the service spot on and all our guests loved it all. Northside Cafe catered our Annual Billiard Dinner at Huntington Landmark Active Senior Community in Huntington Beach this month. The three women who served us were very professional and personable. Thank you so much for all your help. We had the Hawaiian Menu for our dinner and would recommend it and also the Mexican food is great too. Service was great, super sweet girl working the register. The place is soooo cute, I love the chill decor/vibe & all the different seating options. A very comfy & relaxed place. I got the Dawney burrito ($14) & it's one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to try out more items. Don't sleep on this place!!
