Nice Burger 100% Vegan - Costa Mesa

My daughter 10 year old daughter wanted me to give this place 5 stars , so here they are . Big guy burger was awesome 100 times better than a sorry Big Mac these days

I'm not at all surprised to find a vegan burger joint in Orange County but was definitely impressed with Nice Burger anyway. As an omnivore, I don't seek out vegan or even vegetarian food but have in the past couple of years taken to eating Beyond or Impossible plant-based meat, which is what you'll find here.- The Big Guy Burger: their take on McDonald's Big Mac. Tasty, very messy.- Tots: decent, not exceptional.

Love all of the options at nice burger. My favorites are the chicken sandwiches, buffalo ranch to be specific, and love the tater tots, nice and crispy. Can't go wrong with the animal-less style fries too, bomb! For dips I recommend the chipotle ranch. Yes, they charge when you get extra, but there's one included per item/side and that's ample. Also! Who knew this could be a study spot? They have outlets for charging inside and there's plenty of seating to work. The staff is also extremely friendly, and full service if you need. One of my favorite go-to's in the area.

Whew, I am not currently vegan but Nice Burger brought me back to my vegan days of trying to find the best vegan dupes for my favorite fast food. This solidly hit the spot for me with regards to my craving for a fast food burger with all the fixings (including bacon, yum). The fries were solid, super crispy and fresh. It's located inside a small food court/food hall with lots of other options so it's an ideal spot for a group of folks with diverging dietary needs and preferences. It was fairly busy when I visited on a Friday afternoon, but my bacon burger and fries combo took only around 10 minutes.

This was our first ever vegan burger experience. We were excited! Sadly we were told over and over that they did not have gluten free buns (despite them being on the menu online) so we actually left, then came back to just be super duper sure that they didn't have the buns. We were doing vegan January and this place was something we definitely wanted to try, and it was such a shame they didn't have GF buns. Turns out there was just a language barrier but 6th time was a charm and after being told a very clear no over and over we finally got shown that they did in fact have gluten free buns lol. Big waste of time but oh well alls well that ends well. The burgers were interesting, honestly pretty impressive dupe for meat and cheese, but not something we really craved again. Somehow we felt just as sluggish if not more after this meal than if we had plain old In N Out. Odd! But love the concept, probably is great for people who are vegan and can never have In N Out again!

Excellent service with awesome vegan options!I tried the sweet potato animal style and the barbecue burger both were hot and delicious.

Nice burger! Freakin AMAZING!!!!! I love this place. The food is great. You wouldn't even know it's vegan. The burgers and chicken are delicious!! I love the BBQ bacon burger- I skip the vegan bacon. It is not good. Does not taste anything close to bacon lol The chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders are great! I love the sweet potato fries and tots for sides. Nice Burger (Costa Mesa) still remains a lust-must for evening indulgence after a draining day.I don't advocate eating your emotions, but if you're going to, might as well luxuriate and salivate over a restaurant that's actually worth it.For the basic bougie bunch proudly posting photos of themselves standing in front of Mastro's (yep, you know who you are/who I'm referring to), spending $60+ for farm-raised fish (worth asking your hostess about food source), it's not too late to upgrade your life: try Nice Burger.Recent discoveries worth ordering (in addition to items listed in previous review):-Breakfast burrito-Breakfast burger-Any and ALL dessert bars, esp the Crunchie Nice Guy, high five. Wow! Hands down! Yumm-town.I was able to try this place when one of my coworkers wanted to surprise me with lunch, he knows that as a Vegan it's hard to find places that deliver and that has more than just salads. So when he ordered from here, the only thing that came to mind was "yas, burgers and fries!"This location is in Costa Mesa, right on 17th Street, right across from the Goodwill Boutique, which is next to the Costa Mesa DMV and right next to the McDonald's drive thru. They are on food apps to be able to order ahead for a fast pick up , or you can even have it delivered. Personally, I prefer to order ahead for a quick pick-up. Yet, if you prefer to actually walk in and dine, their patio is the best. I did take a few coworkers there for lunch, and them being their first time trying all-Vegan food, they were surprised to the flavorful burgers and their homemade sauces and "healthier" soda options, aslo can we talk about the size of the burgers, it can feed 2 people or 1 super hungry one.Will definitely be coming back soon!

This place is sooooooo freaking good! Glad it's not close to home or I'd have to give them my paycheck every week. Staff is always super cool. We always have to stop here when we're in the area.
