I love eating here for breakfast/brunch. Their jazzy hip-hop playlist adds a cool vibe to the restaurant, very reminiscent of Nujabes. The owner(?) is a really kind woman who always gives great customer service. And the food smacks! Parking is easy in the lot when it's not past 4 PM.Jam & ricotta toast (5.0) Two huge slices of milky toast topped with small curd ricotta and really flavorful jams. Out of the 3 toasts I've tried, this is definitely my favorite. The jams aren't too sweet and have a perfect amount of tartness. Some bites also had a really savory, almost salty & garlicky, taste to them. I couldn't figure out where the unexpectedly savory bites were coming from, but it was a very welcome addition to the sweetness! Hojicha cafe latte (5.0) Such a smooth latte with a strong hojicha flavor. I highly recommend this over the earl grey latte, but both are pretty good! The distinct roasted flavor of hojicha really shines here though.

Came on a Tuesday, so there was plenty of parking. On the weekend, the parking at this plaza is kind of difficult, but not impossible as long as you're patient. It was a little quiet, but there was someone doing work the whole time I was there, which is good to know for next time I need to do work somewhere quiet. My friend got the mushroom toast and I got their burrito. Both were really good! The burrito is definitely more filling than you would think. After eating the burrito, I didn't really need to eat dinner, and I didn't eat breakfast before coming either LOL all in all, a solid place!!

Recently tried Namu kitchen for the first time. Was very pleased with our meal and the service. Staff was very kind and helpful with suggestions on what to order. I ordered a beef bulgogi sandwich and a dweji gomtang as well as a hazelnut latte. The bulgogi sandwich was so packed full of rich flavors, savory and a little sweet, and not to mention super juicy. It was paired with a very simple but delicious side salad. On the other hand, the dweji gomtang was a more subtle but very clean pork broth. It was served with a side of purple rice, a dipping sauce for the pork in the soup, and kimchi/pickled cucumbers. So comforting especially on a cold winter morning! It reminded me of a nice home cooked meal. As for the hazelnut latte, when I walked in and spotted their La Marzocco espresso machines, I knew they meant business! My latte definitely did not disappoint.

I fell in love with this place after my first visit. The interior vibe is cozy and relaxing. You can see families enjoying their time and friends gathering inside. The food is fresh and delicious, and I appreciate that they use quality ingredients to create amazing dishes. Their menu offers a variety of options, from brunch to rice dishes, and from meat to vegetables. Waiters and waitresses are super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back again soon.

Came here a little past their time to stay open. they close at 3:30 but I did not know considering the door was unlock and I didn't look up the time but nonetheless my boyfriend and I were warmly greeted upon and asked if we were dining in or takeout. But we only wanted drinks , I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and my boyfriend ordered an earl grey espresso (double shot for any of their espressos I believe) and we both enjoyed our drink very much. The matcha itself was really good, strong, and top quality in my opinion and paired with the strawberry it was nicely sweet and balanced! for the espresso it was strong for me but for my boyfriend he said it was perfect . They have seatings inside and it's such a cute place it has a calm feeling about it and would definitely want to try their food items! Overall drinks were 10/10 and would definitely come back for this matcha latte

My friends and I went during New Years for a quick brunch and were seated fairly quickly. We did go when it right opened just so we wouldn't have to wait a while. I would have to warn people that this restaurant is in the HK plaza with the new Haven City Food Hall. Parking can get packed depending on the time of day. Food was relatively comforting on a cold New Years day. I was personally a fan of the crispy edges of the kimchi pancake and the dweji gomtang. Service was relative fast and our server made sure that we were well taken care of throughout our meal :) I got the sparkling matcha ade and it was a nice pairing with the heavier meals. Overall, it's a nice place to get brunch with friends.

Absolutely love! The toast was refreshing and delicious and the burrito was great! The strawberry matcha latte was delicious and sweet and the hojicha cafe latte wasn't too sweet which was perfect. The staff was super nice and the vibe of the place was just wonderful in general.

This was probably the biggest burrito I've ever seen. I ordered the jang-jorim burrito and it was filled with braised beef brisket, eggs, potatoes, veggies and avocado. A combination of tender/juicy brisket and subtle crunch from the grilled veg. It was super filling so I could only finish half and took the other half to-go. I really like the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. It's very cozy and has a comforting atmosphere.Overall, the service was good but my friend and I had to wait quite a while to get our check. It seemed that they were a little short staffed on the front-end. I would love to come back here again though.

Namu Kitchen is a cozy eatery Korean brunch and coffee/tea restaurant in West Covina. Its name Namu ("namu" means tree in Korean) Kitchen rises like a sturdy oak. Its culinary journey infused with Korean heritage and flavor. We found this place by chance. Interior decor was contemporary with spacious layout. They have a modest selection of food and drinks (hot/cold). After careful deliberation on what to order on the menu, I end up getting a rosemary cardamom latte ($6.5) and a jam and ricotta toast ($16). Rosemary Latte was fine and hot like an old gf that you wish you have never broken up with. Similarly, J.R. toast was overwhelming sweet, flavorful and soft. Staff were competent and professional. Service was tepid to say the least; in my humble opinion the on point service has become moribund. Atmosphere was relaxing with soothing holiday background music. Prices were affordable and competitive. Overall, I have enjoyed their latte but not so much on their food and service.

Parking is a bit hard since Haven City Market just opened in the same plaza. Warm ambiance and kind service. + French Toast ($16): made fresh, server noted it's 25 min wait time. Thick brioche with a soft, custard-like inside, nice with strawberries, blueberries, and granola (7/10)+ Tofu and Eggplant Burrito ($18): lots of fried tofu inside, extremely saucy and a bit messy if the wrap opens. Sauce inside was very mild, the green zhoug-like sauce on the side was the perfect addition to the burrito (8/10)
