Naan & Kabob

Busy today, the food was delicious as always. Service was just a little bit off. There were some people that waited and were not happy about that time for their meal to be served.The staff mentioned that the only Persian here now, is the chef. The demographics of the customers are changing, and they're more attentive to that.

This is one of my long time favorites. They take their time and prep your food the old county way so allow them time. The results are definitely worth the wait! They address all the details for Persian cuisine (sumac, onion, flat bread served with the meal). Portions are generous (feeds 2) and always delicious. Ambience is that of a simple café, comfortable and clean but simple decor. Staff is attentive and friendly.If you are craving Persian this is the place!

This place has been located on First Street in Tustin for as long as I can remember. I really wanted to like it, but it was disappointing. I ordered the Lamb Kabob, which comes with a small salad.The small salad consisted of what seemed t me to be wilted lettuce more or less swimming in dressing. It wasn't good. The Lamb Kabob plate was generously portioned, but it was just so so. The lamb seemed to me to be overdone. Would I give it another chance? The Magic Eight Ball says unlikely. The service was a bit slow but decent enough. The modest dining room was fine.

I ordered the beef Koobideh and Barg combo lunch plate. Everything was phenomenal. I had never had Barg before and I will definitely be ordering that again. Hummus was top tier. Customer service was good. Portions are HUGE. I can eat and my lunch plate made 2 meals. Prices are fair as well, especially for the portions. Definitely try this place out. Authentic Persian cuisine at a great value.

Look it has hype because it's been here for some time. I did try it twice and both times found myself saying things are too sweet and or too much garlic. I don't know what I like less the food here or the terrible parking haha

One of my new favorite places for good Persian food in the area. While prices and all are great here as well, the added bonus is that they do make their food flavorful and of quality as well. The seating area is simple and nothing fancy but I am a big fan of having my food fresh and never to go. But when you can't sit in and dine, call them in advance and pick up your food. My favorite combination of kabob is a chicken soltani with shirin polo rice (nuts and orange sweetened rice). Only people that are Persian or grew up with someone in the family that cooked shirin polo know of this combination but it's my absolute favorite when it comes to Persian food. Service is mediocre at best but no one comes in for that when the food is good and it's a nice little local gem. Hope this place stays for a long time as it does get pretty busy. Parking is the biggest puzzle here as there isn't much parking available so you'll have to be creative when it comes to that.

Yummy food! I love their chicken soltani and kebab!The parking in the plaza can be hard to find so be prepared for that but the food is delicious!

Came for lunch and my sister and I shared the combo plate. It was so much food! We were both full. We started with hummus which was served with lavash. The hummus was yummy and a good consistency.

Delicious food just as good as more expensive Persian restaurants but no atmosphere the place needs to be updated

Delicious food here!! Would come here again. The cost for everything was cheap and the house combo was big enough for two people. Service was fast and nice.
