Whatever you do, you MUST try their new taco musubi items! I got the wagyu feta for $9 and it was so worth it. The meat was super tender- I wanted to order 2 after taking the first bite. The flavors go together amazingly and most importantly, it's huge! I was definitely full after one taco.I also tried another new item, the spam trio, for $7. For 3 pieces, I could say this is worth the price (but I'd still get the wagyu feta). If you want to try an assortment, I recommend this. Otherwise, the 2pc ones are a solid option for slightly cheaper. Overall, absolutely love the wagyu feta and will be coming back for that, and to try the other taco items!

Went here off a recommendation in the AAA magazine and really enjoyed it! The taco musubi was the best part and bummed we didn't try all three. It was so good!! The other musubi was a little bit on the dry side, especially the meat ones. The veggie has the best flavor. Brussels could have also been more flavorful, cooked more crisp.Want to go back just to try all yhebta

Honestly, the concept is a lot of fun and can be great. The actual execution is where it really falls flat. The taco shell with the seaweed is conceptually solid and could be so tasty but it was flat, stale, absolutely did nothing for the texture or flavor of what could be really great fresh. The portions are pretty good, maybe the bowls are better than the tacos!

3.8 / 5Rice was cooked well and tasted fresh. Soft shell crab Musubi was unique but the Crispy Calamari Taco was a little disappointing. Most of the toppings were deep fried Batter not squid pieces. The very end part of squid tentacles were there( not many) it definitely was not worth $9.

I thought this place was a very solid option for Musubi! I wish I tried one of the specialty taco Musubis but this was an appetizers to dinner so I didn't want to overdo it. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because it is a little more on the expensive side. $14 for two musubis that are not specialty is a little more pricey than I was expecting. The workers were very nice and store was clean

3.5/5 overall - Cute musubi spot nestled in a plaza. There's a notice as of 12/22 that there are no eggs in their musubis due to a 2-3 week product delay. I recommend the bbq bulgogi and their taco musubis. There's a $7 spam musubi trio (regular, gochujang, and jalapeño) as well. They offer small table and window seating, a restroom, water cups, private lot parking, and bright ambiance with music to enjoy your food with. At first I thought $5-9 for one musubi is quite high, but the protein portion and quality made it worth a try.

Located in a plaza that's not too busy and plenty of parking. I stopped by here since I didn't want a full meal to be too full, which I thought the portions would be perfect enough. It seems like their most popular item is the soft shell crab musubi, and according to their menu, their bulgogi is one of their most popular as well. I ended up ordering those two and it came out to be $14? I didn't mind the price at first hoping the quality and experience will be worth it.Oddly enough, it did take a long while for my order to be prepared. For two musubis, it took around 15 minutes, longer than I expected it to be. Starting off with the soft shell crab musubi, this one was surprisingly pretty good! The crab was soft and flavorful, definitely something I have not tried before. For the price of it? It can be justifiable. I tried the bulgogi musubi, this was pretty basic haha. The bulgogi itself was a bit tough, and it was a bit too clumped for it to be musubi. This one isn't as worth it. Overall, I could have paid this price for a regular meal, but it was just two musubis for $14. I wouldn't say it's worth getting, but to try, maybe? I would only try the soft shell crab musubi.

Little shop located in a very remote little shopping plaza. Online ordering was very easy and they even texted when the food was ready which was nice. The food was great. Very difficult to find places who do soft shelled crab so I was very excited since it is my absolute favorite. Prices were quite high, but I am assuming it is the Southern California pricing & for the variety of protein options. Wish it was up in my hometown and a bit cheaper so I can frequent often

Musubi Square is located off of La Palma Ave and Magnolia in an older, small shopping strip. It's easy to locate and access. Parking is adequate. The store is clean and streamlined, set up with six or so cheery yellow and white tables & chairs. Orders are placed at the counter. The worker today was cordial but didn't give off a welcoming attitude. Food is made to order, so there is a short wait while it's being prepared. I'd seen that they recently added Musubi "tacos" to the menu and came in in search of those. They are larger than the standard musubi and it's reflected in the price of $9 per taco. Today I went with the Wagyu and eel tacos. Presentation in the compostable container is quite nice. Both tacos were DELISH!! The Wagyu beef starts with a layer of rice, followed by a very tasty green sauce (maybe avocado/cilantro/lime?) followed by a thin layer of delicately pickled cucumbers, followed by the beef, and finished with a nice sprinkle of feta. So yum!!The eel taco was even better! A more simple combo, but SO SO good!!! Starting with a layer of rice, followed by a nice layer of crab, topped with a big picece of perfectly cooked eel and a drizzle of eel sauce. THIS will definitely have me coming back for more!!

Musubi square is everything my rice-loving tummy desires.I've never actually been to the location, so I can only speak to how good it is when delivered to my home. One thing to note is that it's a smidge cheaper to order from postmates if you're not going in person. Our favorites are:Bulgogi BBQ(Beef) musubi - AMAZING- Korean style Beef, Chopped Onion, Seaweed, SesameSpam musubi - standard, yummy- Spam, Egg, Seaweed, SesameMiso Salmon Bowl - very good although not much salmon. Brussels sprouts are cooked perfectly. I always ask for more miso sauce, because it can feel a bit dry with all the rice.- Miso Salmon, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, RiceChicken bowl - good, although it's not typical teriyaki chicken (not saucy). I LOVE the sweet red chilis on top of this bowl.- Teriyaki breast, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, sweet red chili, RiceHighly recommend, and I can't wait to try more of the menu!
