Celebrated my birthday here at Morton's, Santa Ana back in February. I got the wagyu rib eye and it was delicious when it was cooked to my liking. The sides: scallops wrapped in bacon and Brussels sprouts were delicious. However, the lobster bisque was the highlight of my dinner for sure. It was very creamy and delicious! It's a must try for sure even if you're not a fan of seafood selections. The key lime pie is delicious refreshing after a heavy meal. The service was good; however, since there was a huge group the attention of the server was limited. The ambiance was good. Enjoy if you go and be ready to spend a pretty penny.

We have been dining at Morton's steakhouse in Santa Ana for almost 20 years now and for the most part, it has been delightful. However, the last few times the ambience, the attention to detail, and the caring from the hostess, and the management has steadily gone downhill, and our last dining experience was horrible. We walked in five minutes before our reservation on January 18, 2025. The gal behind the desk said they would get to us shortly, we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. Anytime the DoorDash or Uber delivery person came by to pick up their order. They were attended to, and other guest they came in after us were shown their tables while we still waited. The manager who recognized us explained that they were having a banquet and that seemed to interfere with us sitting at a table. After almost 40 minutes, we were finally seated in a room that looked like a large banquet room. The only bright spot to the entire experience was our server name Kevin he knew we were upset and tried to overcompensate that by rambling on and try to make us feel good. We finish, paid the check and looked at each other and said we will never come back to this Mortons again. There are other places where the steaks and atmosphere are better and treat their guest courteously and attentively, and those are the places we will go from now on. I am sorry to say that Morton's has somewhat outlived it usefulness and reputation and a once great steakhouse has now become much closer to an uncaring alcohol serving sizzler. RIP Mortons.

The family went here for an after-Christmas holiday dinner and the experience left a bit to be desired. I have been to this and Anaheim a handful of times, and this was the worst experience. This review is mainly for the food as our server was super (Emily). For apps, we ordered oysters (solid), Crab Cake (above average), Ahi Tuna Poke (average). Sides, we got the scezhuan green beans (enjoyed these), brussell sprouts (okay), au gratin potatoes (good). Ordered the chicken Christopher (flavor was good, but chicken came out super dry, overcooked). Ordered 2 8 ounce Filet (cooked and seasoned well). Lobster tail 8 oz (overcooked and rubbery). The worst of the plates was the prime bone in ribeye. For a top end steakhouse, the ribeye was basically about 3/4" thick. Basically what you would get at a Chili's or something. I ordered medium rare but there is basically zero chance to get medium rare and a decent crust on a steak that thin. Crust was good but it came medium. We were waiting a while for the food so just ate half. Desert creme brulee and hot chocolate cake were both good not great. I am not sure I will come back here in the near future. Maybe try again later on and hopefully they sort some of the issues out.

Had a lovely evening! My favorites were our side dishes: lobster macaroni and baked potatoes. My Chilean sea bass was recommended and the sauce was too salty for me. The chocolate lava cake at the end was so delicious and was the perfect way to end our dinner. The chocolate lava cake does take time, so it's best to let your server know asap if you plan on ordering it.

Love this place. Service is always good, pricey but thats to be expected. I come here several times per year, usually for a special occasion. This time it was Valentine's Day. Got the tomahawk for the first time, it was very delicious, tender and flavorful. Cream corn was also on point. Finished the occasion off with the lava cake. All in all another good experience at this location. Manager also did a good job of checking on us from time to time.

We celebrated my Mother-in-law's 87th bday at Morton's The Steakhouse on 11/6/2024. It's a night we will all remember for very special reasons not only because of the company and the amazing reason we were celebrating but also because of how amazing all of us and especially my MIL, Pauline, were treated by everyone at Morton's. Where do I begin...From the moment I made the reservation on the phone to the minute a staff member took our photo by their beautiful Christmas tree on the way out the service (professional & personal), food, ambiance & management was impeccable! I made the reservation stating we were celebrating the 87th bday of my Mother-In-Law. But I had no idea the lengths that Morton's goes to when celebrating a bday of this magnitude. Mom cried when she saw her personalized menu and all the VIP treatment she received by our fantastic server, Chris, and all of the managers who were very attentive and making sure we constantly had what we needed throughout the dinner (before, during and after). And it wasn't overwhelming it was just a simple occasional stop by and inquire on our well being and maybe offer a quick laugh with mom but it meant so much. Chris was had. PHD with the questions my family shot at him with rapid fire. He was so thorough with his descriptions and made everyone want every item on the menu that it took us so long to decide our eventual food choices. He was patient, funny, professional, timely, correct with all the orders, kept the table clean & cleared (with an amazing team) and went above and beyond through the ending when he brought out the bday gal's crème brûlée cheesecake (which nearly brought her to tears again from pleasure) and the table the hot lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream that we all couldn't pass around fast enough. Any customer would be overjoyed and extremely satisfied to have Chris as their server at Morton's. One of the wonderful aspects of dining at Morton's The Steakhouse is the photo they take at the table and present to you in a cute little personalized cardstock frame that captures the evening which is a memory you'll want to remember no matter what you're celebrating even if just being alive is it!!! When we were driving back to our place mom said she didn't know how many bdays she had left but she knew that from here forth this was now a bday tradition she wanted to start until she didn't have anymore. We all agreed that we will now look forward to having mom visit from Sacramento (more times in the years of course) but for certain now for her bday and if we all had our way there will be many many MANY more dinners at Morton's in the future!! Thank you to everyone who helped create such a wonderful memory for all of us!!!

My husband made reservations to celebrate my birthday and it was the best experience! Our table was set up with confetti and there was also a custom menu with my name on it! Such cute little details. Our server was so attentive and accommodating to my boys and their indecisiveness. Funny, I don't eat steak, so I opted for the seafood tower. There were a lot of options and everything was very fresh. I honestly thought it was better than the tower at the Water Grill. My husband and boys ordered steak and sides and everything was cooked perfectly. We ended our night with a complimentary dessert which I unfortunately couldn't try because my boys devoured it. Ha.We enjoyed our dinner so much that we ended up getting membership. So we went there again for Happy Hour last night. Another great experience for us! Such great service and food! Looking forward to my next visit.

If you haven't worked with Kristin Mendenhall for your private event, you are missing out! I have worked with her on a few events, but this one was extra special/important and she was wonderful. On Tuesday, January 25th I took my best clients to Morton's in Santa Ana, I was dealing with Kristin Mendenhall in catering who not only gave us a fabulous private room but a table configuration where we all could face each other and talk. The food was no surprise, always spectacular and amazing, the two servers we were given went above and beyond. The wine selection is second to none! If I have a company function like last night I would not hesitate to come back. Kristin has been the best caterer I have dealt with at Mortons. Great evening.John Luna
