Post Valentine's Day date! We wanted to go a fancy steakhouse. They were fully committed on Vday, so we were lucky to find reservations the day after. We booked reservations through OpenTable.Parking: $8 Valet ParkingDress Code: Business CasualAmbiance/Environment: They have plenty of indoor seating. The inside is dark, but we were seated in the outer area where it was bright. Our reservation was at 16:30, and it wasn't as busy. It became busier around their dinner rush.Service: We checked in with the hostess, and we were seated promptly. Shout out to Alex! She was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained the whole menu to us since it was our first time dining there. She even recommended us her favorite dishes and popular dishes. We were constantly checked on, and our waters were filled a couple times.Food & drinks:1) Bread & Butter (complimentary) - The bread was huge and soft! There was a generous amount of creamy butter.2) Lobster Bisque - We started off with appetizers. The bisque was so creamy and not too thick. It had lots of flavors, but we prefer a bit more lobster bits.3) Truffle Cream Corn - This paired deliciously with our steaks! The truffle flavor came through! The corn was sooo creamy!4) Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes - This also paired perfectly with our steaks! There was a generous amount of cheese and sliced potatoes. There wasn't as much bacon, only a few pieces.5) Tomahawk Ribeye w/ Black Truffle Butter - My bf ordered this medium rare. I got to try some pieces. Although it looked medium well, it still cut easily and soft. The Black Truffle Butter gave it even more flavor. We definitely enjoyed it!6) "Proprietary" Prime Cajun Ribeye - I ordered this medium rare. It cut easily and not too chewy. The cajun flavor didn't really come through, but I still enjoyed it.7) Passion Margarita - Alex told us this was currently their popular cocktail. I love margaritas, so of course I had to try it. I really liked it! It was fruity & strong!Pricing: $$$$ We would definitely come back on special occasions.

Came in for a 7:45 reservation, and arrived at 7:40. We were seated promptly! Nevertheless, we waited 10-15 minutes to even be given any menus (we were pretty frustrated by this). Because of this, we didn't even feel like ordering drinks. How long would it take to get those at this point. Rough start to a New Years Eve Dinner... but anyways: we finally get menus, and get a chance to order the tuna poke for an appetizer. it was lackluster, at best. The tuna was overpriced, dry, and lacked that fresh flavor you want in poke. We ate it because we were hungry and it was $22 (geez). Brussels tasted amazing! Smoked Gouda Au Gratin Potatoes were delicious as well. $6 for horseradish was kinda crazy (they never charge at other upscale steakhouses), and it didn't really have that classic horseradish taste to it (very very light). The crab cakes were okay: they lacked seasoning: I've had way better. The Prime Ribeye was cooked good (we ordered it medium) but lacked flavor and seasoning as well (for $67 it should've been way better than what we got). We also sat outside in a covered/enclosed patio but man, it was so cold. Our food got cold so fast... total bummer and definitely didn't make the night any better. Overall, we lacked the feeling of it being special or memorable. We've been to many higher-end steakhouses at similar price-points with better service; where they make you feel seen & valued. For a "special occasion", we came for New Years Eve, our money felt wasted (and the bill wasn't cheap either). Wouldn't recommend this place - considering there's a much better steakhouse literally around the corner.

Must have been there on a bad night. The hostess, rather than asking, assumed my brother was not dressed appropriately and said the bar was the only option instead of the seated dining area. After reading up on the dress code to understand, we then saw other people in inappropriate clothing being seated. We followed up with the hostess and said it was his pants that were inappropriate, calling them sweatpants. However, the fabric is a popular brand/style and is not "sweatpants".The dress code is clearly listed on the website, I am not debating that. My frustration lies with the hostess who made assumptions and then had no problem letting in others who were also dressed inappropriately. I know how all of this sounds. No one kicked up a fuss because of my mom, and didn't want to make her uncomfortable. The point of going there was to go early enough to not be seated near a lot of people as she's going through medical treatment. All I'm saying is be consistant and enforce your policy or don't, and have a conversation with your hostesses about how they can handle these situations in the future. The only thing that saved this evening was the food and service at the table. I would have rather communicated this via email but that isn't an option anywhere, so here I am.

What bad can really be said about Morton's food? Nothing. It's all delicious. We enjoyed a date here last night for our anniversary. The restaurant put rose petals on our table for us and gave us a complimentary dessert which was lovely. I loved my combo of surf and turf. My espresso martini was fantastic. Our server, I don't recall his name, was excellent. He gave bountiful recommendations and was very helpful. We ordered a TON of food and it was only two of us. However, THE REASON FOR THE THREE STARS and what compelled me to write this review was that my partner and I kind of felt "less than" or not as important as tables around us. There's two reasons for why we felt this way. The manager? The gentleman that wears the suit with the tie and checks on tables? He checked on every single table sat either before or after us and did not come to our table one time. He did not come to us once even after making eye contact with us and looking at our table. We were there for over 3 HOURS and he checked on all the tables around us but did not bother to come over to us. That really bothered myself and my partner. We also were not offered hot towels and other tables around us received them. I'm not sure if you are supposed to requests the hot towels or if the restaurant offers them, but we did not receive them. I want to know why the manager did not come over and ask us about our experience and cannot help but feel like we were judged because we weren't in clothes that spoke to us having money but we racked up a bill well over 100$ per person. I didn't appreciate being left out of being checked on by the person running the restaurant. Otherwise as mentioned, the experience was great. No issues with the food or server. Just felt judged and less than by the manager who refused to check on us.

My experience tonight was amazing. We shared the tomahawk steak, the lobster and macaroni cheese and a fantastic Caesar salad. My wife chose the wine and she was very very happy with it. I had an old fashion. And for dessert I had the crème brûlée. What an amazing experience. From the Manager's coming to greet me and my server Andrew, who took great care of my wife and I. What a classy place they went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional.

The food was amazing but the staff is what made our visit unforgettable. Winter was our waitress and she was more than attentive. Kind, thoughtful and made us feel very special as it was our anniversary dinner. They validate parking if you park at the hotel lot. We will most definitely be going back! Oh and you must have the Morton's chocolate cake, best dessert we've had in years!

I have been to Morton's all over SoCal this year (San Diego, Woodland Hills, Palm desert, etc) every time the food and service was amazing! I have gone with parties of 2-6 persons. Each time the servers were very attentive: constantly checking in, maintaining the table, and keeping our glasses full. The food is consistently amazing every time I go. They cook our steaks perfectly, the whole table ends up more than satisfied with their meal. The wine menu is great, but they also allow you ti bring your own to enjoy which is cool. I always enjoy a lemon drop martini to start my visit! The ambiance is great. Very intimate setting. I like that it's dark. It times everything out so you really focus on your table. Morton's never misses! Can't wait to go back.Cheers!

It's been a hot minute since I've been to a Morton's, and I forgot how good it is. Sometimes a chain is popular for a good reason. This location near the Anaheim Convention Center was convenient and worth the trip. One salad option is a chopped wedge salad! What?!? That's an oxymoron people. But it takes all the work out of eating a delicious salad. Iceberg doesn't get its due but Hachi Machi, chopped up and tossed nicely with all the classic wedge ingredients and hot having a huge chunk land on your lap is worth ordering this salad.Steaks are steaks and nothing really stood out with Morton's vs the other chains. The Filet is never cut like the photo and looks like Picasso cut it. But that aside, it tasted great and was cooked correctly, but not the best part of the meal. The Sides are where it's at though. The lobster Mac n Cheese had some nice chunks of delicious lobster meat in it and was a nice complement to the meal. The mashed potatoes were also creamy and delicious (I wanted the loaded ones but some people at the table are heathens, apparently). But the Szechuan Green Beans stole the show. I will never call anyone string bean as a derogatory nickname anymore, only use it in high praise of someone based on how good this dish was. It was Legumazing and now a must order at any Mortons!I usually don't like when food touches each other on the plate, but that Szechuan sauce on the lobster Mac.... Oh man... Spicy and Cheesy together is new the PB and J! Like buffalo Mac n cheese elevated!Service was excellent with going through a few bottles of wine, glasses of water, anything else we needed. I though the waiter would have held me and burped me if I had asked him to.We were all too full for dessert so we skipped that, but what an excellent, indulgent meal at the expense of our companies! Gotta love it! But I'd gladly pay for this meal too, which says a lot!

The food is superb. I had the bone in prime rib, medium rare, with horseradish sauce. The meat has a lovely dark exterior that is tres tasty. Very tender. The sauce is creamy and refined. The asparagus was peeled and cooked al dente. The bread was similar to an onion puppy seed hamburger bun, but it was the size of half a cauliflower. Yummy. The New York cheesecake was with a creamy apple sauce, which I found offputting. The toasted walnuts on top were beyond the moon delicious. The service was as expected, better than most places.
