I absolutely LOVED my first visit at this Gorgeous cafe & upscale boutique located in the Old Tustin District. I was so happy I was able to make a reservation for a 10 am tea service for an early Galentines day celebration. They have a beautifully designed boutique located at the front entrance prior to making your way into the cafe. Once you walk past the checkout register, you will see the adorable cafe and become so enamored with the lavish decor, design and unique vibes it exudes. Our friendly, outgoing and attentive server for the morning was Armand. He really took the time to make us feel welcome, thoroughly explained everything on the menu, and was so kind to take photos of our group during our tea service! He truly went above and beyond to make sure we captured all of the lovely memories of the day! Our adult tea service menu came with our choice of tea, 4 tasty sandwiches, 1 yummy scone & 3 delicious dessert items. The child tea service menu came with a modified version with option of drink instead of tea, 2 sandwiches and included the scone and desserts. The finger sandwich portion sizes were perfect, tasted absolutely delicious & paired well with our tea selections. We chose the Peaches & Cream tea and the Strawberry Rose Champagne Oolong Tea. Our younger tea guest opted for the strawberry lemonade. All three selections were a huge hit!! They were refreshing and calming for a lovely Sunday tea time. I highly recommend making your reservation at least several weeks in advance as time slots book up quickly. They do offer services for private party rental which would be perfect for bridal showers, birthdays or baby showers. Thank you, Morning Lavendar Cafe and Armand, for the phenomenal service and lovely tea experience! Looking forward to my next visit soon!!! Helpful tip: There is limited street parking and a small lot parking in the surrounding area. Be sure to arrive early to secure a good parking spot & not be rushed for your reservation.

The place and decor were super cute. Service was Ok. Food was Ok. The bread used for the sandwiches was not fresh. The scone seemed old as well. Tea was tea. This is more of a place you go if you want the experience because it's definitely a bit on the higher price for what you get.

Shout out to Armand and Anthony! Terrific service for our large party of 13! Came to Morning Lavender for their tea service for the second time. This time we had a large party and sat out on the patio. It was a fantastic experience. First you will notice how cute the cafe is decorated, with no detail forgotten. I love that even the spoons and tongs for the sugar cubes are shaped like hearts! The tea sandwiches were really good and so were the desserts! The cute factor is the best! I also love the boutique with some fantastic tea party dresses, adorable sweaters, accessories, mommy and me outfits, and so much more! A couple things I would like to see updated would be as follows:*The clotted cream is more like butter and not a traditional clotted cream*There are only 2 options for vegetarian sandwiches. It would be nice to have a mushroom one, maybe fig and honey, just something a little different. *There are only 2 one-stall bathrooms and I think today only 1 was working, so that can be tough when everyone is done with tea. *Parking in this area can be tough, and most street parking is only good for 2 hours. *Would love to see more food items available to order, maybe some salads! *I would prefer loose leaf tea with strainers over tea bags - would be more authentic. Overall I love Morning Lavender Cafe and despite my suggestions, I will still continue coming and supporting this business!

The first thing I have to mention is that the tea party-style charm you might expect from older reviews is no longer the same, so be sure to check the date of the feedback before visiting! While the elaborate tea setups may be gone, they've kept the spirit alive with their beautiful, delicate cups that still make you feel special. The front of the store is an absolute dream! It's filled with the most unique and adorable dresses, pants, and other clothing for girls and women of all ages, from kids to teens to adults. The styles and colors are so sweet and feminine, making you feel like you've been whisked away to a charming boutique in France. Everything about this store radiates elegance and whimsy, and it's impossible not to fall in love with its girly and delightful vibes. The atmosphere is truly magical, it gives you butterflies in your stomach the moment you walk in! The air is filled with the most wonderful scent that instantly lifts your mood and makes the entire experience feel luxurious. The customer service is exceptional; the staff are so attentive and kind, making you feel like royalty with every interaction.Even with its charm and unique offerings, the value is excellent, which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Whether you're shopping for something special or just stopping in to soak up the sweet atmosphere, this place is an absolute gem that will leave you smiling long after you've left.

Highly recommend making a reservation when you want to enjoy the high tea afternoon service. We booked ours at 12:30pm and it's a 2 hour service. The tea sets were delightfully mismatched and beautiful. The tea area was beautiful with lots of florals and a photo op wall. The server was kind and attentive. It's the standard price fix and menu fixed yea $42 a person. Be aware they include an 18% gratuity on the bill. They also have you sign the receipt with a complimentary pink pen that you get to take home. My friend and I went on Saturday and it was very busy. You line up in the shopping merch side and wait and then they seat everyone at once for that time slot. Three tier tray contained: Sandwich layer: smoke salmon, chicken salad, cucumber, and spinach cream cheese. Middle tier - one almond scone each with preserves and cream. The cream is whipped to the consistency of butter - looks and tastes like butter. This scone was epic - not dry, and it was very flavorful. Top tier - mini fruit tart, vegan donut, and lavender macaron. The vegan donut was our favorite! The pink icing on the donut tasted exactly like a crunch berry from the Capn Crunch cereal. We ordered two extra pastries. The chocolate croissant and the cinnamon pull apart bread. Both were warmed up and made them very crispy. The choc croissant is mostly flaky dough and falls apart into an absolute mess when eating. And cinnamon pull apart bread was extremely dry and hard. My friend ordered frose which is like a rose icee. She said it was delicious. Tea: we ordered the Peaches and Cream tea which is a white tea vase with peaches and vanilla note. And the strawberry champagne tea. They were served in large tea pots and were smooth and delicious. There is a merchandise store attached with the cutest stuff available for littles and adults. Lots of accessories, jewelry, clothes, high end boutique items. There is also a coffee counter for walk ins, with a large selection of coffees, matcha, there's a flight of coffees you can order and pastries. Overall this place is definitely worth the wait. The parking is street parking and hard to find so be prepared to hunt for a space and walk a block. There is a side lot right by the tea house but it is always full and spaces are reserved for the adjacent business. Would definitely visit again for tea and shop again!

It was my first visit and I had my newborn with me. They made me feel welcomed and tried to accommodate my stroller lol. I had a lovely time. I didn't know it was outside. Luckily, it had stopped raining and the weather was perfect. The scones and macarons were my favorite.

Cute spot that is both a cafe and boutique! Workers were nice and happy to answer all questions. Opted for an unsweetened strawberry matcha with macadamia milk and it didn't disappoint! This spot also offers tea ceremonies so I will for sure be coming back for that!

This place took all my girly pop dreams and made it come true. I LOVE the cute flowery coquette energy here. Like it's the perfect amount. So tasteful. The baristas here are so kind. Deja (sorry for the spelling if it's wrong) is so sweet. Love her. There is plenty of space to sit both inside and outside. The internet is fantastic here. I am JUST A GIRL who was born to live my girly fantasies but forced to study as a med student does. But, being here and brought me a massive amount of joy. There are outlets here. The seating is plentiful. The vibes are IMMACULATE. I told my friends I would have my bridesmaid brunch here with afternoon tea...I just need a man first. The clothes and accessories are so cute. If I wasn't a medical student with negative dollars, I'd def spend my money on it.Anywho, the rose matcha latte was so yummy and gorgeous. I'm literally obsessed with the pink and green. They use soy milk in it which is honestly fine for me! It was really delicious. I feel like I am gonna come back here again and again.I told the owner-- WELL DONE!! They also gave us a cute little note for Valentine's Day. I truly enjoyed my experience here and I will be coming back!

This review comes from a person who does not frequent afternoon tea places. I went to treat someone out and to punish (?) someone who did not like afternoon teas. If you are like me, not a regular to afternoon tea sessions, you will feel that you significantly overpaid for what you got. The food: I know this is not where you go to fill your stomach with savory food. I know what places like this usually serve. Given that, however, the quality of the food was seriously lacking because they used cheap ingredients and the desserts tasted like the last-chance sale from the Ralphs bakery isle. The cucumber sandwich was the worst out of the 3 sandwiches. No flavor, no effort in making the sandwich. The chicken sandwich was good, but the portion was tiny. They basically made one regualr sized sandwich and cut them in 3 pieces, after removing the crusts, for my party of 3 Each piece was like two-finger width and length. I was so disappointed, especially after paying $210 for 3 people. The teas were fine but they don't give you fresh tea leaves once you are done with the pot and want more; they just refill the hot water, resulting in overbrewed and watered down tea.The tables were waaaaay too close. We were able to hear everyone talk, especially the ones adjacent. Going in and out of the seat was so uncomfortable. The service was good but not great, because they only had one (or two? I only saw one) server. The decoration was nice and cute, very flowery, pink, and lavendery.Importantly, they automatically include 18% gratuity no matter the party size. They tell you this when you get seated and before they serve. Not that I was going to tip less than that, but I would have liked to be informed of this up front when making the reservation. I wasn't going to say, no, that's not going to work out, and leave, after I made the effort to drive there. They give you a pen when signing your check, probably to compensate for the serious lack of quality in food which you realize when you are signing the check.I don't expect "value" for the money from afternoon tea places. They are, generally, overpriced. What I do expect, however, is quality in food, service, and ambience. Even though I am not a regular to places like this, I know this place needs serious improvement. I will not be back, and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Finally had the opportunity to try the Christmas Afternoon Tea. The decor had cute disco balls from Swiftmas event. The staff were so nice and friendly as well. Parking: It can be tricky but is lots of street parking and lots in the area.Food and Tea:The afternoon tea tower was delicious and include the Christmas theme. As for the tea I had the Coconut milk Green and it reminded me of mango sticky rice. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon tea experience. Looking forward to coming back again soon (:
