ordered to-go food at this place! got the curry katsu bowl, tuna mayo kimchi, and the katsu & spicy pork plates.i had no expectations going in since it was a soft opening but it turned out to be so good! prices are reasonable for what they give you, and the food itself was delicious. although, the spicy pork was not spicy at all, but didn't mind too much since it was still flavorful.will definitely plan to come here again some day (:

Ordered the spicy chicken plate, burdock/gobo kimbap, and fish cake kimbap. The burdock kimbap is now listed as "gobo kimbap" on their updated menu. Didn't know this prior to ordering and created a lil bit of confusion with the worker. Very generous portions for two, we had leftovers to save for dinner. Our takeout order came with two complimentary cups of soup. Fishcake kimbap was good, not too salty and just the right amount of flavor. Gobo kimbap was very crunchy, not the biggest fan. Since the rolls are bigger than the usual kimbap they were more fragile when picking them up.The spicy chicken wasn't that spicy, lacking in some flavor. It was stir fried with vegetables and rice cake. The cucumber side tasted better than the mac salad, which was bland. The soup was salty, but it went well with the other food as they were seasoned more lightly. Overall, a decent place for Korean takeout prepared in a more healthy fashion.

Service was great. The menu is easy to read with pictures so you know exactly what you're getting; the food really does look like the pictures. The food itself is just ok. Portions are large but taste is average. I ordered a pork curry katsu bowl. It came with two large katsu but they were 1/2 inch thin making them not so juicy once cooked. One thicker better executed would be more appealing. Lovely thin layer of a sweet sauce and cabbage under the katsu to separate it from the rice. Curry was just alright...Japanese curry from the box is more flavorful. Ordered a kimbap. Great flavor and generous filling. It's rolled by a machine and lacks the tension to hold it together. Falls apart as you eat it and sadly does not come with kimchee. Prices are high for just average food but you do get a lot of it.

Was just on yelp to see what my stomach was feeling today and saw this new place pop up somehowThe inside was very clean and has a tad bit of seating. Like only 2 ppl can sit per table. Will say that I wish they had music or something cuz it was dead silent and you can hear the echoes. The music would help and make it more lively for sure :))). Now the IMPORTANT STUFF I ordered one of the Mori combinations, to be specific it was a Kimbap and tempura udon. For the portion and price I'll say pretty dam affordable!!!! Tempura udon 7/10 idk what it was but it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. Will say might try other idioms and see but this one I wasn't quite fond of Bulgolgi Kimbap 10000/10 will say portion is huge!! You can def taste the freshness of it and idk but hands down the best Kimbap I've tried so far!!! TO SUMMARIZE: get the Kimbap!!!! But will try more Kimbap and will come to try the other ones as well!!! They have a buy one get one 30% off for Kimbap

New katsu, udon, and korean food stop located near Ralphs. It seems to be a fast casual type place with to-go options but a small dining space and only has tables that have 2 seats at them.Yakisoba had lots of beef and good flavor; the egg on top was a bonus. Spicy chicken actually wasn't that spicy but was a large portion and tasted good. The sides were a nice addition - mac salad and cucumbers in sesame oil. All in all, a good lunch spot although to go ordering is recommended.

We went during soft opening. Cute and clean space. Kimbap was excellent! The fillings were yummy and full inside each kimbap, hardly any rice. Each kimbap was wrapped in perfection. I personally liked the spicy kick in spicy tuna kimbap. The hot udon soup that comes with the rolls were perfect complement to the kimbap. The appetizers sesame chicken and calamari were crisp and yummy. We already had handful before realizing we hadn't taken a picture. I would love to go back and try all the other kimbap.

I was running errands in Cypress and got hungry, so I found this place on Yelp. I ordered the pork katsu plate with fried calamari, and my husband got the pork katsu curry bowl. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. I haven't tried their kimbap yet, but as a fan, I'll be back for it next time!

Tried this grand opening restaurant. I tried chicken katsu plate, shrimp tempura kimbap, veggie kimbap, and calamari fries. Calamari fries are alright nothing to rave about, but I enjoyed the kimbaps. Kimbaps were fresh ingredients were fresh and not heavy. I didn't like the katsu sauce as it was a bit sweet. I think I would enjoy the curry sauce better. The "fry" isn't as amazing as other places but it's good enough. Pay cash for 4% off.
